AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Install latest TWRP/CWM/Philz recovery on your device.
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Flash the rom, and a gapps
Reboot system and setup!
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Thank you for a wonderful ROM. I flashed on top of Lineage 14.1 and didn't have any issues.
Looks very solid with lots and lots of customizations, much more than Lineage 14.1. Bought the device yesterday and I already flashed three times - two lineage versions and this AICP.
Thanks to you, AICP is a definite keeper!

Yes, it supports fingerprint login. I am thinking it's for both z2131 and z2132. Mine is z2131 and works great.

Screenshots?

Let me be that guy and do this.
Does VOLTE work ?
Which firmware do we need to be on?

I want to know, is this rom supports to disable always on fingerprint? I want to press some button to wake, not just reading fingerprint.

Can anybody attach some screenshots please? And which camera application using by default? Snap camera or another? In digeo's ROM's camera is great for custom ROM. I will convert this ROM, if camera is same.

Camera is not dark. Quality is medium. I can say at least 6-7 point over 10 compared to stock ROM. It is same as diego's AICP.

I have never see wifi problem. Everything is working fine with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
No need to get root access in settings. It is prerooted ROM. Magisk application is managing root.

Solved wifi problem was my fault, before flashing I restored stock with Qfil and it changed the mac Address so my firewall didn't recognize the phone.
As i flash the rom Magisk says I'm not rooted, so i solve this by flashing lineage Root file...

For camera u can try use SnapIt with libs file...I think it's the best camera for custom roms...

Nice ROM man, it seems to be very stable. Just one thing: Man, the u-touch features are a little bit limited. I like to use it Luke this, só I don't have to push the button:
TAP: back
Long TAP: home
Swipe left: multitasking
Swipe right: Last opened app
There is some way to do this?

I adb side loaded the entire 4.0.1 firmare. booted system to make to be sure eveything was A-ok. Back to fastboot and formatted userdata, flashed TWRP, wiped all partitions, flashed ROM&gapps. Still doesn't load. Just a black screen and blue LED and the phone getting super hot.

I was impatient. Tried it myself. Followed Kenzolo's instructions to a T. I kinda like that recovery. The progress bar is pretty cool.
However still not booting. Been on the black screen with blue led for about 6 minutes now. I'll give it another 9 minutes before giving up but it doesn't look hopeful at this point.

Still no joy for me with this version but Kenzolo's unofficial worked just fine.
If you still cannot get it boot in AICP 12.1, recommend do so:
1. Converting cache&data partition into ext4 if they're F2FS.
2. Flashing firmware 4.01 and then reboot to TWRP recovery.
3. Flashing AICP 12.1
4. Then Reboot

I don't think that's very realistic, that changes the whole setup of the phone just for one rom, if there is a problem with the rom running with F2FS then that needs to be examined instead of expecting people to change their whole environment.

This is Candy9. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.
We do this as a hobby, and we happily share the Candy of our toils with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-Roms, LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni, TeslaROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!
Donations are appreciated, but NEVER expected.
Stay tuned for more Candy!
Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-Roms, LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni, TeslaROM, AOSiP and all the rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own.

FAQ
As of 11Mar2018, firmware is at OB5 for OP5.
You may find that you have apps FCing after a dirty flash or nandroid restore. Such apps may include Email apps, and other apps that use WebView. AOSP includes their WebView, but it is pretty outdated. If you experience these FCs, and clearing data or even REINSTALLING an app does not fix it, take a look at the version of webview selected in Settings > System > Developer options > WebView implementation, and choose the newest one, in this case, Chrome stable:
Depending on the version of GApps you have installed, you may remove/replace included apps (like Dialer, Calendar) without knowing it. For this reason it's suggested to use the smallest GApps package possible that gives you Play Services functionality.
Screen recording tile:
There are 3 different resolutions for the screen record tile, indicated by the 3 "dots" that will appear on the icon. 480P. 720P and 1080P, are 1, 2, and 3 dots, respectively. Tap to change them, then long press to record when ready. Tap the flashing red dot in the lower right of the screen to end recording, or long-press it to move the dot to the other side of the screen.
What's not working:
You tell me. I'm running this as a daily driver and it's been through testing. But if a noteworthy bug arises, I'll try to list it here for public knowledge.
First!
Thanks for this! Downloading right away. Will test soon.
Feels GOOD to see you here mate.... Keep up the good work.
Nice to see another custom rom coming to the OP5! Thanks for your work!

Magisk, yes. Xposed, possibly, but do not discuss any bugs encountered while using that. It often causes more trouble than it's worth, and if I see xposed in logs I will automatically move on.
What do you need xposed for?

Nice! Just a few questions about the ROM:
1. Does it pass SafetyNet?
2. Does it include App Ops or LOS's Privacy Guard?

Thanks for the amazing work. Everything is working great except WiFi Hotspot. Connected, no internet. Any thoughts?
Would you recommend the official OpenGapps 8.0, or the unofficial OpenGapps 8.1?
I'm aware that it links to the 8.0 but this ROM is 8.1 so i'm a bit confused.

This is a user friendly thread. Please be respectful and courteous to other users. While feature requests will be considered, AquariOS tries to maintain a ROM that is smooth and stable, so adding every feature under the sun is not the plan here.
READ!1. Unless I tell you otherwise, you MUST always, absolutely, positively, most certainly wipe data AND cache before flashing AquariOS...without a doubt!
2. Don't report bugs if you haven't followed directions - most likely it's user error at that point as far as I'm concerned.
3. Always run a backup before doing anything.

Q & A
Read this before telling everyone something is broken!
1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.
2. It's bootlooping after flashing ROM with Magisk - now what?
Don't flash Magisk until you have already booted into the new AquariOS build at least once. If that wasn't your issue, sometimes Substratum overlays can cause bootloops. If you have anything applied, flash the SubstratumRescue zip from your substratum directory
3. Why is the built-in System Theme section greyed-out (background, accent, & fonts)?
When the Substratum app is installed, this section will become inaccessible in order to prevent conflicts. You CANNOT use them both at once!
4. WiFi Calling isn't working, but my carrier supports it. Why is that?
With certain carriers, such as Verizon, it has been found that users must first activate WiFi Calling on stock before it'll work on custom ROMs. If your carrier supports WiFi Calling, and you've already tried activating it on stock, let us know so we can look into it deeper.
Reporting a bug?
See how to do so here:
BEFORE REPORTING A BUG:
1. Flash the SubstratumRescue zip and see if your issue is still there.
2. If you have flashed a custom kernel or ANY OTHER MODs, delete 'data/system/packages_cache' then wipe dalvik/cache, and flash AquariOS again WITHOUT any additional modifications/custom kernel.
3. Check to see if your issue persists.
*Do NOT even bother reporting an issue if you have dirty-flashed AquariOS over some other ROM! We WILL be able to tell!
Logs are crucial to resolving almost any kind of issue. You need to provide a log in order for the issue to be addressed. Please also include info on how to reproduce the reported bug if possible (maybe even take a screen recording for us ).
If you need a log extracting app, try out CatLog!
Either save your log locally and share it, or paste your log into an online code sharing tool like hastebin.com - then share the URL after hitting the SAVE icon.

I've been on it for a couple weeks and I have no idea... It just rocks!! Lol I thought I would miss the squeeze cause that was my method instead of long back to kill but the LBTK works great on this rom. Q & A
Read this before telling everyone something is broken!

"HELP!! SafetyNet appears to be failing now!"
That's why most apps will say it has failed, when in fact it isn't even testing it [properly], therefore it reports it as failed. Try testing with the SafetyNet Helper Sample app, which seems to still be working because of it using the older method (for now...until they update it).

This AOSP based ROM is here to stay - I'm the lead Dev, and I now have full control over walleye on here
Yesssssssss! Thanks Caleb! Donation incoming
This is excellent, I loved AquariOS on my HTC 10. It was rock solid!
Can I use diag mode to enable VOLTE
Thank you! I flashed the first April build and enjoyed it very much. Will update now.
Would like to chip in that the test builds have been wonderful so far, so expect great things from the official one and there is certainly more to come from the team!
Very noob question, but does the Google camera work with this rom i.e portrait mode ??

Yes portrait works fine. There shouldn't be any issues with Pixel devices and custom ROMs when it comes to the camera afaik

What about the multi touch bug present in 8.1 ROMs, I'm assuming it still exists with this rom?

I believe that may be included in the next build if it hasn't been already. OP will have to confirm it

Giving this a flash when I get home from work!
All the excitement
I just wanna say a few words real quick, XDA is not the place to have such conversation in public, There is a PM system for a reason, Alternatively there's also offsite solutions for such things, Please use them.
Offsite issues, Whatever they may be they do not belong here, This is a development thread and as such please keep it that way, And move forward.
If anyone has any questions, Please message me directly.
Thank you.
