Building ROM - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How do I build Rom for my phone in Windows 10?
I tried this in Linux: https://www.hacksandgeeks.com/single-post/2017/04/02/How-to-Build-Custom-Lineage-OS-ROM
Is there a easy way to do it?

This is the easiest way to do

You can see on the Linux-on-Android (other name of Complete Linux Installer) thread that there is a bug with 4.3.
It should work fine if you use a Custom Rom 4.2 and use the app. Apparently it will be fixed soon on 4.3, but no idea when

You are welcome. I'll personally wait for a fix or workaround, 'cause I love 4.3 so bad.
Note that dual-boot (without emulation) should arrive soon since the indiegogo campaign was successfully completed, just the time to port dual-boot from original N7 to the new version.

I've been using multirom, its so awesome!!! Now if you were to downgrade to 4.2 and implement multirom would this work?? I'm not really sure which part is inhibiting Ubuntu installation. I hope Ubuntu is developed for 4.3/multirom soon here, any links about this would be nice.

That's the problem right there :
- Ubuntu Touch isn't yet developped for 4.3 devices (driver problem)
- Android 4.2 isn't yet available for 4.3 devices (driver problem)
Actually, the only thing you could do right now is install a CyanogenMed Nightlies (unstable). But it's gonna change over the following days/weeks, of course.

Install custom ubuntu in GTAB3 P5210

Hi.
Please, sorry for my bad english.
I have a customized ubuntu based distro (with installation cd and installed and running on laptops, 32 & 64 bits) that want to install into gtab3 p5210. Gtab3 is actually rooted with recovery and android rom from DuchDanny Bindroid (great work).
I want install my ubuntu into this device
In theory is possible install a x86 distro in this device but i dont know how to modify the boot for booting from one image of the install media or if i need a custom preinstalled image of my distribution and install it from revovery, in this case think that need modify boot too for p5210 device.
Please, can anybody help me with or tell me a base guide lines to work to get this goal?
Is possible to create a finally ROM (with custom pit and boot too, i think) for this device with this custom ubuntu on it, but that i can flash it using odin?
Thank you in advance.

It is more complicated than building an image to install. An image of Ubuntu touch might be first but that is going to need to be built from source drivers kernel and all. And to be honest I have not seen any device with Ubuntu touch that was ready for daily use.
Lots more work and these are rather young devices at this time give it a while and get enough people with the right skill set interested and it will be done. My suggestion if you want this done soon a bounty or something is going to be needed.
Also at this time I would not be messing with any of the partitions as recovery is just recently functional.
Thank you very much for the answer.

Nexus 7 2013 Need help with paranoid android and gapps flash

I need some help with finding the right pa ROM and appropriate gapps so I can install. I attempted once but while in recovery I could not find the ROM or gapps in the folder I assigned. I'm not sure where I went wrong but basically I downloaded what I thought was the right ROM and gapps from this site. Actually I think I had to find the ROM elsewhere. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. I thought I had everything but for some reason it wasn't right. Please help and thank you for your time.

Possible to install iso os on fire phone?

I have not that much experience but is it possible to install iso files for an os to do that at all?
No, images must be custom built.
