[Q] Getting 5.0 notification but doesn't install

I have a WWE (HTC__001) M8 and I got the lollipop download notification, so of course, I downloaded it and proceeded to install. The phone rebooted into update mode, the green line got about a third of the way through and then stopped with a red triangle with !.
So I downloaded the RUU and tried installing it from fastboot, but after a few seconds the install failed with the message FAILED (remote: 24 parsing android-info fail).
getvar shows the following details:
version-bootloader: 3.19.0.0000
version-main: 3.28.401.9
product: m8_ul
modelid: 0P6B10000
cidnum: HTC__001
The phone is unlocked, s-off with stock recovery.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Want to go back to stock, but can't do anything!

I have receveid this phone as a gift, but I can't find how to upgrade it to the latest stock.
First of all, this is my situation:
Code:
MID: PN0731000 (from what I've understand it means stock)
CID: 11111111 (what's this?! it seems a developer thing, should I change it to HTC__405 (italian?) or it's not important?)
Security: Off (maybe this is one of the problems?)
I think I have the stock recovery, even if I'm not sure.
Current build: 5.28.605.2.CL365669 release-keys
Band version: 1.13.41.0421
Software number: 5.28.602.2
PRI Version: 4.74_002
PRL Version: 00000
ERI Version: 5
Fastboot/bootloader: locked
What I'd like to do, as I said, is go back to the latest stock (5.0.2?), I don't need everything stock, I'd just like to have the latest stock ROM or something similar (if it's with no bloatware and some optimization, it's ok).
What I can do:
I can use fastboot, I can access it and it seems it works.
What I can't do
Everything I have tried gave me a: FAILED (remote: not allowed) or FAILED (remote: 41 model id check fail)
I have tried with some official HTC roms from the HTC site and I've got "wrong model", I've tried with the verizon software and it asks to repair before upgrade, but repair can't find the assistant software (under status it says software unknown).
I've read I need to find PN0731000 RUUs' compatible, but I couldn't find any, they all have a different MID.
Please help, I'm desperate!

No OS error after wiping with TWRP, in need of help

This morning my phone wouldn't go past the HTC screen, just locking up before I could do anything so I decided to do a wipe of my phone being stupid and realising I now have no OS so I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do?
My phones info from the HTX Multitool is:

No baseband, no imei and "no sim card" caution exists

i bought a htc one m9 "0PJA100 ve FCC ID: NM80PJA100 M9u". it can bootloop only in bootloader and not any more. when select the download mode screen was blue and restarted again. i flashed the some *.img files in adb folder just like this this message

it went good and i could boot in download mode. when i wrote "fastboot getvar all"
mid: 0PJA10000 and cid:11111111 so this one is international version.
i flashed many kind of rom (*.**.401.*--*.**.617.*--*.**.605.* with change with suitable mid number also and many custom rom) but all of them had not recognised "empty imei ,emty baseband and no sim card" but no problem with the imei number it was original. last one i flashed stock rom (3.35.401.12) with zip file. with 0PJAIMG.zip in download mode all went good but same thing happened. "empty imei ,emty baseband and no sim card"

Cid is supercid. Compatible?. Yes updates are incremental.

hi,
i also tried with international cid number (htc__m27) but no luck. I tried almost every stock rom (international, developer, asian and europe version) but same result no baseband no imei. i dont think its a hardware problem. what else can be done?

no IMEI no Baseband, no sim, no solution
It is same with me, I just flashed Multirom and then uninstalled it -> now no IMEI no Baseband and cannot do anything with the phone, it works normally just does not accept sim card so no signal. I do not think it is hardware as so many people have the same problem. Could someone please look into this?

It could be problem of fabric
Maybe is inside of hardware
Mine Htc One M9 has problem of Radio Fm
Doesen't work even when was on lollipop and now on Nougat
I gone on alot of phone services and told me that is not a big deal that ,dont screw your phone only that has no radio
I was thinking that is better this way
I told my friend who bought my phone from Ebay to complain to the seller but is a long way of getting my money back
So for every thing you done check it with the seller you bought it your phone

Cause was from the alterations to the boot firmware when SuperSU was installed. I flashed the original boot.img back to the phone and baseband were restored. I re-installed SuperSU 2.78 and Baseband and imei were gone. SuperSU is the cause. When you restore the boot image, you loose root.
Solution: flash original unaltered boot.img back to phone using fastboot. Then install SuperSU-v2.82.

Its out there. I put it on the sd external card. I rename it 0PKVIMG.zip and start into bootloader where it gets read instantaneously and begins to install the sense 7.0 Android 6.0. IF you have first relocked your bootloader at htcdev .
It is explained by htcdev
You can do it too as I did.

There is only one I have seen that is out there to download. It worked and my phone can be completely restored to the basic MM. It then immediately prompts to update as it is the initial MM 6.0 to start. Then it may update a 2nd time. It is sense 7 and android 6 Marshmallow. It is EU vsn. Don't know about other continents and carrier versions.

I could not flash it, TWRP print several errors.
I tried the TWRP-4.16.401.13.zip, TWRP sent me errors like : <Could not find "META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary" in the zip file>

I had to lock the bootloader, before flashing the zip file.
This flash is now installed (0PKVIM[email protected]60201_20.05_018_F_release_479349_combined_signed.zip), and it works.
This version is compatible with these CID :
HTC__001,
HTC__102,
HTC__032,
HTC__Y13,
HTC__031,
HTC__M27,
HTC__002,
HTC__A07.
and for the modelid : 0PKV10000
The OTA will work.
How to do :
This flash is for
Firstly, charge the M8s to 100%.
1- Lock the bootloader, it became "RELOCKED".
2- With your PC, copy this zip file into an SD card, remane it : 0PKVIMG.zip (it starts with zero)
3- Insert the sd card into M8s and boot into bootloader,
4- It takes at least 10 minutes to finish the new flash.

I want to flash the same version too but when I relock the bootloader there is some bugs that make that the flash doesn't work. Please help.
