Hi, I have a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual Sim E6833 flashed with flashtool from CFW 6.1 to Official firmware 7.0 Nougat.
I've took my firmware from Xperifirm without issues, all was good. But now i have a vibrator issue, my vibrator doesn't work, no sense no vibrator when someone calls me.
I've tried to flash a new time my phone but nothing happened, the problem is here.
Is someone have a solution ?

Give it a good shake and it will be back to normal...
Try the phone tests in the settings menú, it should work there

That won't help... There is a thread about this here somewhere on xda already...the vibrator somehow gets stuck, turning vibration on and off, service test, reboot, flashing etc...doesn't change anything but a good shake will fix it!
I hope it works then! The good classic solution for hardware problem: slap the equipment hehe. Good luck!

Guys, I'm having a problem and I think it has to do with updating the Z5 Premium for the MM version .185 , before upgrading my SW3 ( Android Wear 1.4) showed on the screen who was calling , only now the message " number private , " I tested the SW3 with Samsung and caller ID functioned normally . I looked in SW3 and all permissions are allowed , anyone would have any suggestions to fix this problem?

I use the same phone and watch. No problem so far. I had to do a factory reset on the watch to make the first connection. Have you tried that?

What firmware are you using with Z5P? Yes, i tried factory but doesnt works.

It's not possible to change software channels.
You can flash Android 7 onto your phone from here

It could work, but you will lost the OTAs, because isn't your retail channel.

Thank you very much. I've been looking for a ROM explicitly for the XT1680 for so long. A quick question though: I bought my phone with my carrier, so it is carrier (Telcel) locked (no problema for me), has software variant "amx" (contains 2 carrier apps), and software channel "amxmx".
I understand that when flashing one of these ROMs, I'll lose OTA updates (which doesn't matter anyway: my carrier hardly releases OTA updates, and I have custom recovery, so I really won't lose anything). But I'm wondering what happens if I flash one of these ROMs with no software variant over my stock ROM with "amx" variant.

Excuse me, I have a doubt. What is the difference between these two files?
I can't install new fonts after Oreo update and even fonts installed/working on Nougat stopped working. Always says that the font one is not compatible.
Anybody knows why and how to fix it?

Bumping this thread, as I've just run in to the same problem.
I have a font (Bauhaus) installed on my Galaxy S8+ running Oreo, but I've just bought a Note 8, and while it's running the same version of Android, it won't let me install the font (I get the same error as the OP).
Looking around the web, it seems to be a common issue, as Samsung continue to reduce what we can do with our own phones.
Anybody know of a (non root) solution?
This is a very stranger thing... It happened with the A5 but didn't happen with my S8.
I updated from nougat to Oreo after received it and could install fonts with no problem.
It must be a random issue..
In time, I couldn't solve until I sell the A5..

Just send the logo to the manufacturer in order they could include it on the next mcu update

Go to factory settings and you will find a button to upload a custom logo to be used
