The 1st May '17 build does not have fingerprint sensor patches merged yet.
Next build I will enable it.
Already mentioned in the post, but lots of thanks to cdesai, olivier, christian, kali-, jerpelea and everyone who have maintained sony over the years.
I am coming back into this after a whole year, and I have fully working device trees to simply kang and build AOKP - this is amazing. The state of development on Xperias - great as always

Maybe you can add ambient display. Thanks

The May 1 build has no fingerprint sensor
The May 2 build should have it working

The rom I finally expected. Thank you

Yes is working in the 2 build. can you add ambient display?

If you build Kcal in I will definitely try this. On different old devises I loved AOKP so with fingerprint fixed no Kcal is the only downside.

If you want, you can do it.
But you can enable root from developer options without problems.

This thread made me moist. Here is s astupid question: any way of porting z5 camera in to this rom?

Anybody knows how is the battery life of this rom?

So from now on official builds will appear. Do not try to 4th or 5th may builds on official channel they do not have fingerprint sensor. Official builds after 8th may will have fingerprint enabled

You need to port the framework too.
Also, the port u talking about was very experimental.
But u can try to port it anyway, if u try u know..

I don't think you will have much success on features request here.
This is a official ParanoidAndroid ROM, so the only features you will get are the ones added by ParanoidAndroid team for the ROM built for all devices they maintain.
Of course, I can't be 100% sure about that, it is a guess from my side. The only ones that can confirm are Thecrazyskull and DC07.

Yes your correct. There are two divisions of Paranoid Android...Legacy and Official. Legacy is all the non-Nexus devices. So titan is part of the Legacy category. In that category there are two sub-divisions: maintainers and "the core team". Maintainers mainly build for their specific device and maintain the device specific code such as the device tree, vendor tree, and kernel source. They also work to fix device specific bugs. Though maintainers have NO control over the AOSPA-L source. The source is coded by "the core-team". So features requests are useless unless u report directly to the AOSPA-L gerrit. I know this because I maintain AOSPA-L for bacon

Well with gerrit everyone can submit features and contribute to the code so its not only the core team.
And if you want a feature you will have to do it on your own and when all is fine you can submit to gerrit and then the core team can decide if they want that feature to be in their official builds by merging it
Is it a bug or a feature (and if so, is there a setting to turn it off? because I can't find it) that when the phone is locked and the screen locked, I can still change the volume of the ringer with the volume buttons? I keep accidentally silencing my phone....

About Us;
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
**YOU NEED TO HAVE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER TO FLASH THIS ROM!!**
Flashing Instructions:
- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps
- Make a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest TWRP 3.0.x Recovery
- Flash GAPPS
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!

I tjink the volume level is a little subjective. It depends on what you like.
What may seem high to me may be low to you. For me is perfect... :good:

Hi,
Thanks for answer. I am not trying to be subjective. I am just comparing with original ROMs (Nougat and Oreo) and they far louder than all Pies.
Regards
Thanks for the new rom! Currently I'm on liquid remix, but I understood that you can't maintain it along with this one and potato? If thats the case I think I'll switch to this new one, loved your liquid remix
will test. asap. just few standard questions till i can:
is AOD working? is it dim? or does it come on all the time?
is DAC working?
is Whatsapp voice through speaker working without switching to mono?
Thanks for another upload.
our device is on fire recently. i was considering the V40 if rootable but with so much support here, IDK anymore
i thought they changed the rom logo to a darker one

Just ordered a new ryzen 5 and MSI motherboard with 2 16gb sticks of corsair ram.
Once it arrives Tuesday I'll start taking some build pressure off of ya. I wanted to do sooner but my 1ghz laptop is too ancient to do anything successfully. (CPU is always 100% even idle. ?)
My screen is flickering twice when I am putting my device to sleep using power button....these seems like a weird issue :/
EDIT : Night light is too buggy, the screen keeps flickering as soon I enable it... I use it all the time
Hope you fix it
thank you for your work @kherio have you tried to make fm radio work on one of these roms?

Nop. Doesn't work all the time.
I tried a nontreble pie build, and both long press and double press were working on that build. It's really weird, treble and non treble shouldn't make any difference, anyways zuk is a meme device.
Might try same for 10.0 and if it is working fine, will release official builds as non treble.
