D858HK on Lollipop, root successful but cannot boot into TWRP - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After installing TWRP from this thread I am unable to boot into TWRP due to "secure booting error".
I can still boot into stock ROM.
Can someone help me out please?
EDIT: Solved with ImageprepGUI

HI, bro, i got the exact same problem. I tried many method including the thread you mentioned, i tried using flashify and the trwp app to flash but it still gives me the same error message.
My LG G3 is 21A

i figured a way just now. You have to use autorec.apk to flash TWRP. It works!

Solved! Autorec didn't do anything in my case, I touched the icon, but nothing happened.
Then I used imageprepGUI and finally got the TWRP working.

TWRP Recovery for 20d

Hello ,ive been browsing many threads about getting TWRP recovery to work on v20d ,but with no succcess.
First i was rooted a while ago by ioroot.
Today i tried the ABOOT+TWRP tool by editing the batch file ,then it installed all the files and rebooted normally.
After that i used flashify to check if the recovery has been flashed ,and it rebooted to stock recovery.
Now i tried flashing recovery with TWRP manager ,result - Secure boot error.
Tried reflashing with flashify again ,still same error.
Any ideas how to finally get it working?

[Q] G3 Corrupted Recovery

N00b needing some help. It seems I have corrupted the recovery on my rooted G3 VS985. Used TWRP Manager to flash TWRP. Followed the app's instructions, installed BusyBox, applied the KitKat/Lollipop patch, went ahead and flashed. Booting into recovery just gives me a black screen and blinking blue and red LEDs. Since I'm not an expert, I'm a little paranoid to continue.
If I use bump to flash TWRP, will that wipe the corrupted file and flash a working version of TWRP (assuming I don't eff it up)? I've also seen root methods for the G3 that install TWRP as well. If I unroot and reroot with one of those methods with a bum recovery, will I brick my device? Sorry for the n00b questions, and I appreciate the help!
Look at here forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/apk-flash-twrp-autorec-thanks-to-t3081396
I have d851, looking for another alternate solution for the corrupted recovery. please help.
Same issue
Same question here also. Updated twrp from twrp manager playstore app now when i enter recovery i get black screen and boot security error. Other than that i can go to download mode easily and can boot my device to android cloudy g3 without a hitch the only problem is that i can no longer use recovery

LG G3 D850 error installing zip

Hi, I have a problem with TWRP(3.0) when I try to install any ROM zips besides official CM12 i get the error that the zip is corrupted. I get this error in every zip, even on super SU. I tried on two older versions of TWRP. They just restarted when I tried to install. Only on TWRP 3 i get the corrupt error. I have tried to find awnsers on google, nothing worked. Can comebody please help me? My phone was rooted with LG root tool. I had installed other ROMs before, but then I decided to go back to stock, and now I wanted to customize again. Thanks!
Hello
It restores your stock rom from kdz, then get root by following this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197
Then install the TWRP official app and install recovery from the twrp app.

set_metadata_recursive some changes failed

Hi guys,
My phone's screen had been replaced and they updated the software also.
I was trying to use a custom ROM as always but after installing the latest TWRP (3.0.2.2) i got the "set_metadata_recursive some changes failed" error message and i am not able to upload any ROM.
I succesfully reflashed the phone with flashtool, tried once more the whole method, but same error.
(now i am trying to reflash the phone once more, i hope i will be succesfull.
Thank you in advance, sorry for my English.
ps.: i am on the latest official MM
TWPR installation method was: Kingroot, AutorecMM, installing SU, then from TWRP installing the latest version (also tried 2.8.7 before, same error).
LG flashtool KDZ flash is now stopped at 1%...

I had this issue you have to change your filesystem in twrp to ext4 where ever it says otherwise

LG-D852 (g3) recovery install issues

so i downgraded to v30 of mm to be able to root my G3. I used lg toolkit 2014 and flashed it correctly that way. once I did I installed kingroot and rooted. after that I flashed or tried to flash twrp using flashify and official twrp app. they both say successful but when i go to go into recovery I get a error;
"boot verification fail!cause MISMATCH_SIG_LEN"
then it flashes red/blue. phone is still fully functional after and still able to use it. (no brick or anything).im not sure what else to do any suggestions?
thanks
