Boot animations are ROM independent, as in they work for both Sense and AOSP, and across version numbers (2.1, 2.2, 2.3.3, etc).
from what i was told its dependant on where your bootanimation is..system/media would be for aosp roms and system/recources would be for your sense roms. im a noob and dont know anything except how to flash them lol..i dont have a pc so its easier to get them as a flasable zip so i can flash them in recovery. thanks for the link il check it out. much appreciated!

I flashed this new foxhound 0.3 black ed 4.0.4 rom on my galaxy nexus GSM,everything works fine except the black theme that comes with it only shows the black ui there is no black wallpaper or lock screen theme just the usual gnex default phase beam live wallpaper shows up after installing this rom any idea's please I want the wallpaper an lock screen like into the foxhound rom screenshots.
sorry i didnt realise you had to select the wallpaper yourself after installing rom please diregard previous post.
I installed the pink theme for jellybomb and it removed the boot animation. the fileserver has the old boot animation. could someone upload the current one for galaxy note 2 please?

Today I flashed a new rom from (http://en.miui.com/download-7.html) this site.
First I flashed v5 but phone was in bootloop to recovery, so I flashed v7 and after HTC LOGO screen is black I mean like bright black.
pls Help Another roms are working but i want MIUI XD
Stock Splash Logo with a little bit Customization.
Just Flash and Enjoy.
