X720 LTE CA 4g+ - LeEco Le Pro3 Guides, News, & Discussion

I have successfully aggregated band 7 with band 3 with 256QAM modulation for a total of 40mhz, on stock eui rom.
Our modem x12 is capable of 3xCA for a total of 60mhz ( https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/821 ), my carrier supports it too, but I have never achieved 3xCA so far.
Has anyone achieved 3xCA with x720?

no super, no 3carrier aggregation (3xCA) as leEco advertises!

USA model doesn't seem to use 256 QAM on T-Mobile network. It's likely locked due to carrier restrictions. I also only get 2xCA, not 3xCA. I'm seeing 16QAM for both networks haha.

best x720 did me was 2xCA+256QAM , but not 3xCA...
I think x727 was declared from LeEco to fcc as a 2xCA.

What's the Matter with this LTE option at my 7100

Well i was looking about thru all options etc and i found this:
but when i turn it on i get no Connection at all, it starts at G----E---3G---H---H+ and then no more connection. (Well i got no LTE data contract) but why is this option there? Could it be eventually unlocked via Software? Root f.e.?

I wondered this too. Think its just firmware related. But three uk keep telling me n7100 will support their 4g. So I wait to find out
Might it just be samsung beeing smart? solder an LTE chip. done!
Would be interesting to see if everyone has this option?

Their 4G is just probably the same gimmick as AT&T's claim that HSPA+ is 4G.
Well even this option is in galaxy note 1 too
It's just an APN setting it has nothing to do with LTE radio's
My note 1 also has this option!

Guys, android gives that option, not your phone..
only the "05" devices (like N7105 and GT-9305) do have LTE capability.

Correct, if you have a N7100 it is definitely NOT an LTE compatible device.

Even then the n7100 does not support dc-hsdpa, so if that's what they're calling 4g the n7100 still won't be compatible.

LTE Icon?

I've got the international variant and am enjoying it, save for the BL unlock malarkey surrounding non EU variants. I'm currently on T-Mobile, and I know for a fact that I'm getting LTE speeds, as is provided in the screenshot, but the icon simply shows 4G.
It doesn't bother me much at all, but I do like the way the LTE shows on the U.S. models (I think they're U.S. models). Has anyone with an H815 been able to get it to show LTE rather than just 4G? Sure would be nice if we get something like tweakbox like the G3 had to modify whatever we wanted! But alas, I don't think a stable version of xposed will be out for our devices for a long time.

I think you've misunderstood, I know I'm getting LTE already. I've setup the APN and whatnot already, I'm simply trying to get the LTE icon to show the way it does on the U.S. variants. I know it's a long shot, but I was wondering if there was some way it could be accomplished on the H815.
For instance, this G4 clearly has superior looking icons on the status bar, including "LTE" on top.
I'm pushing this up as I have the same issue with an h818p.
Any solutions NOW?

Aren't all the ultras capable of 5G regardless? Or is there an actual LTE variant?

I thought that the Huawei p20 pro had cut the device into too many variants but sweet Jesus, Samsung has made over 20 variants.
Absolute madness

Question Enable 5G before OTA Update

Is it possible to enable 5G in the Indian variant of One Plus 9 Pro? I know I cannot test 5G network. I tried to edit the carrier_policy.xml. This was the output.

Also is it possible to enable the rest of the bands like North America Varient?
same question.
I do have this same question
I'm positive that the indian version might not have the physical antennas for 5g built inside, the north American does because apparently 5G is so important that every new phone in America needs it. Im guessing its the same thing like with the International version of the Galaxy Note 21 where they don't have the 5G antennas and the North America does but they sell them the same price no matter what.
But who knows I could be wrong

You need a 5g plan enabled sim and you should ask your provider if they have 5g coverage in your area.
If 5g is enabled in your phone. You shud select 5g in network type. Also options like Smart 5G will be enabled in settings. The sim should be in sim slot 1 if dual sim phone.

Question Will it work?

my german bought 6 pro does not fully work in my country(5g, volte and so on). I am planning on giving it to my sister who lives in the U.S. Will everything work there correctly? Will the google features work?
Should work fine. All the Pixels run the same firmware these last few months.
European models do not have a mmWave antenna. Major carriers in the US use that.

No need for 5g. It destroys the battery life on the 6 pro, from what I have read. Just need carrier aggregation, volte, vowifi and the pixel features to work.

Even if the phone does lack the capability to use 5G, it'll still work on 4G just fine. I haven't bothered to have a 5G plan yet.

I'm not sure. I always associate it with Verizon but perhaps other carriers use it as well. The rollout has been quite confusing now with C band in the mix..
