Amoled theme emui 5.x??? - Huawei P10 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Anyone up for making a high contrast AMOLED theme, one which makes use of the battery saving feature of the screen. At the moment I use kasatmata icons and a black minimal AMOLED wallpaper and Google keyboard with black settings, which I feel saves me battery.
However when I pull down the notifications tab or go to the settings menu I get dazzled by the light lol

I don't think it would make a big difference with the P10 as the P10 does not use amoled panels. The P10 uses the IPS-NEO LCD capacitive touchscreen which on its own I believe does not kill battery as a true amoled screen would.

[Q] Looking For A Pure Black Wallpaper?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913625
Do we have one specifically engineered for the GN?
Try taking a pic covering the camera. That's what I have always done to have a solid black background.

ummm....black wallpapers are black.
OLED screens dont light up black pixels hence the "amazing" battery life using this.
ANY black wallpaper will work
and dont expect to see any gains in battery life....especially 2 hours more.

its easy
downloaded from the market, not wallpaper. This gives the black background for your nexus
Just Google, black.png. It doesn't matter what size it is.
FWIW, Apex Launcher IIRC has an option for no wallpaper, i.e. black, in the settings.
So it does. It's really black too, much darker than a jpeg and a little darker than a png.
no wallpaper in the market
I got one

"Colors" in Marketplace.
Let's you choose any background color.
if you do it in paint it is an all black image

[Q] Will our G3 have the "Ambient Display" feature on Android 5 ?

It would be great if android 5 bring us this ....
:
Ambient display will “wake screen when device picked up or notifications arrive” which is a nice touch, and picking up your phone will give you a nice low-power black and white preview of notifications. One tap and the screen lights up for you to interact with the notifications.

Any feedback ?
Probably just for nexus 6/ moto x.
Maybe you're right...but even if, G3 is quite similar to the nexus.... I keep dreaming !
Without a AMOLED display, there is no benefit to the "ambient" display. On our screens, turning on a screen, even if everything is black, will still use the same amount of power as turning on the screen with anything else displayed. On an AMOLED display, only the lit pixels (ie non-black pixels) consume power. For those screens, something like a "ambient display" function works very well.
I'm tired of this "no adventage" talk. I always used glance feature on my Nokia and the battery handled well. All the pixels are on when the screen is on, but this don't mean that is on on maximum britness or 100% of time.

Interesting. But I would like to reduce the color, something like +"digital brightness" I think in your language... Does it exist on the LG G4 ?
(it reduce the colors... the red isn't shiny as it is as example)
(wrong login through g+, looks like my first post but it isn't... sorry...)
The example you've given is pretty spot on I reckon! Cheers!
Yes it is hard to find an exact spot. I don't have it enabled. All this does is change gamma and saturation. It doesn't affect the white and black levels at all, which is something I am interested in. My G2 had really bright white levels. My G4 looks slightly dirtier. It looks great standalone, but just not in comparison to my 2gen old LG G2.
It's not possible to make the red color looking red and not pink? I'm very surprised that I don't see comments on this direction on the Web. And for now, I didn't manage to change this "pink screen tendance"

What's the Best Way to Color Calibrate 20X?

I've noticed that the color is not well calibrated on the 20X. The white isn't white but off. What's the best setting or color to calibrate it?

no way to do so

Use the calibration menu and color wheel to make it meet your desired appearance. Huawei has the best inbuilt color adjustments that I've know of so that users can adjust it to their spec. I prefer mine warm ( yellow )

General Solid Black Wallpaper

since my wallpaper does not give me a option to use a solid color I created png file 440 bytes 1080x2400 makes a great solid black wallpaper and I think it makes the icons stand out as if they are brighter

I used it to create an AOD theme only to light and stay active when I receive notifications..it's a great way to do so. Leaving clock and battery disabled, you don't have AOD unless you receive a notification.
Thanks
Thank you for the tip!! @nikosrs4 ! You are the man, since this phone does not have a notification light it's a good way to know if we have notifications! You deserve a medal for the idea!
i feel its not black enough xD .anyway thankss
