Samsung J2 not booting (No response at all) after suddenly shutting off automatically - Samsung Galaxy J2 Questions & Answers

Samsung J2 (J200G/DD) not booting (no logo, no vibrate), not into recovery (Vol+ + power + Home), not even into download mode (vol- + home + power), after it suddenly shutoff on it's own while in use (call). There was vibrate when it shut off (as normal shut down)
Battery checked, no problem. No response to charger input without battery. USB debugging probably not on
What can be done. Please guide.
Could not find any related problem/solution in forums.
Is there a possibility of hardware issue? Similar problem seen by any one, on this or on any other models? I have a similar problem on a Lenevo A6000, difference is that it goes into boot loop on connecting to charger without battery.

Galaxy Tab S SM-800 stuck with flashing TWRP logo

I was provided this device to try and help resolve the issue. I am not sure how it got to this point. I believe that it was rooted with a custom ROM, then the individual tried to install a stock ROM (method unknown).
The current situation is:
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 SM-T800 stuck in a bootloop with the TWRP logo on the screen. I can not get the tablet to go into download mode. I have tried all of the different methods to enter download mode, i.e. Power & Vol - & Home, Drain the battery > Plug into PC while holding Vol - & Home, Power & Vol + & Vol -. None of these combinations do anything. The only thing I can do to get a response is to press Power & Vol +, which reboots the device right back into the TWRP loop after the Samsung Logo. Power button alone does nothing.
The device is seen by Windows with the Samsung Drivers but is not mounted to a drive letter, and I can not mount it.
ADB , fastboot and Odin do not see the device.
I would like to flash a new rom either custom or stock, but I need to be able to get the device into download mode so it can be seen by odin.
Any help would be great.
Mike
Probably just timing and pilot error this one. I've never known of any Samsung device boot but be incapable of booting to download mode as download mode is bootloader related.
No working bootloader means dead device.
No matter what state the device is in at the moment with the usb cable removed, hold POWER + VOL DOWN (not up) + HOME until the Samsung boot logo comes up, hold for another couple of seconds then release. Download mode should appear.
I know it should be easy....
I know it should work but it is not, I will make a vid of the process and post. I can not make heads or tails.

Is the home button actually working, are you pressing it firm enough?
If the home button doesn't register then the tablet will simply reboot.
Its a bit odd why twrp doesn't fully boot though unless it's the wrong one.
Does it hang at the twrp logo or continually reboot?

[P600] Completely bricked (not even 'download' works). Is it hopeless?

I've searched extensively about bricked P600's and found a few threads where it seems it's still possible to boot into 'download' mode (Home + Vol Dn + Pwr) and from there it's possible to flash TWRP or some kind of recovery.
Unfortunately after attempting a flash I don't even have the capability of booting into either recovery nor download. All I get when I power on the tablet is the Samsung bootsplash and then black, dead screen (backlight is on).
Going through the process to boot into download mode then plugging it into USB + ODIN doesn't show up as a COM device.
Am I hopelessly at a loss?

When you tried to get into download mode, do you see the samsung screen turn on and off??

Yes, it flashes on the screen for a second before going to black screen.
*Edit: I've found that the tablet now wants to stay 'on' all the time. Long-holding the power button turns it off but it will immediately turn on again. When it's on external power and just switched off, the battery charging animation starts (with the spinning circle) but doesn't go into the animated 'bubble' charging display - instead it goes into the typical black screen with backlight on.

Help with bootlooped mi5s :(

Hi.
I have a Xiaomi mi5s 64/3 GB in an endless bootloop. Here are the details:
The phone is:
rooted
bootloader unlocked
developer mode enabled
internal storage *not* encrypted
no MIUI account activated
USB debugging on
running the last EU MIUI 9.x development version (don't remember the exact version) with Android 7.0
has TWRP 3.2.1.0 and supersu 2.82
no password is set for unlocking the screen etc.
For some unknown reason the phone suddenly rebooted yesterday and got into an infinite bootloop cycle. I haven't changed any roms recently or done any such flashing. My google play automatic updates were disabled, but a few days ago I manually updated all the apps.
The only odd thing that happened prior to this bootloop, was that when shooting some photos with the google camera mod (same one I've been using for the past few weeks), 2 images were saved as corrupt unreadable files. But that happened a few hours before the bootloop suddenly started.
The current status is:
1. I cannot turn the power off (tried holding the power button, or power button + vol up and down for a very long time --> nothing).
2. I cannot enter recovery mode using vol up + power.
3. I cannot enter EDL using all 3 buttons.
4. If I hold volume down, it enters fastboot but automatically exits from it within 4 seconds (ADB and miflash cannot detect the device in this short period of time). holding the volume down button for a long time has a repating enter-exit-after-4-seconds from the fastboot graphics.
I waited until the battery was completely dead, than started charging it and the status described above was unchanged.
QUESTION 1 - restoring the internal data is my number one priority - does it seem possible here?
To be exact: I want the DCIM folder with the photos+ videos. What should I try now?
QUESTION 2 - I ordered an EDL cable, but am unsure if it supported for my MIUI version. if the EDL cable works, can I force the phone to enter recovery mode from within EDL?
If so - I guess I can copy the internal data to an external USB OTG flash drive I have (that works well with the phone).
If my data is restored, I will then move onto trying to reflash the phone, but at this point this is the least of my worries...
Thanks all.
Anyone?
Maybe it's a problem with the button? I would disassembly the phone and check the hardware.

I don't know - the buttons don't seem like they are stuck in any way. When I push them, they click back out as usual.
Update - I created an EDL flash cable by stripping the cable gently, exposing the green and black wires, and looping them together - connecting this cable to the phone didn't help either.
Maybe I need to wait for the battery to die so the phone will turn off, connect this cable to the phone, keep the power button pressed while I connect it to the usb port in my PC... what do you think?
I have the same problem with mi 5s which started after update. Don't know what to do.
Took the phone to a local lab - it was all due to a faulty power button module.

Stuck on meta mode

I have an old lenovo k8 note it stopped charging one day and was not booting, so i replaced the charger board with another one i found online. It started charging but displayed nothing even after i press the volume down + power button. But when I charge the phone it booted into meta mode and does not display anything except the boot logo. I tried changing the charging board ( read somewhere that it might be a hardware problem ) but the results were still the same. I tried flashing stock rom, it is still in meta mode. Can't open recovery mode even though i pressed volume down + power button. Can't use adb to fastboot. How do i exit from meta mode

Your device is most likely bricked; fixing it requires software and tools that Samsung and other manufacturers have not made available.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Did you check any of the options in Odin before you started?
Witch options do you mean ?
Auto reboot and f reset time ?
