From the update that gets downloaded in the download folder, copy it onto your local computer as soon as it gets downloaded and before installation and gets fail (as otherwise the file gets disappear/gets deleted) and extract the recovery.img from the framework folder of the zip file and fastboot it to your htc. There are many tutorials on how to fastboot an img in htc device. Once you have done it, restart the mobile and then try downloading the system update. It should work.
Hit thanks if it works.

Hi Persona78, first can i say what a fantastic job you have done, most of my research on the idol 3 4.7 points back to you, hats off sir!
I'm still having a problem and i'm really at a loss here after about a week of no returns.
adb refuses to recognise my 6039y when in bootloader so i cannot flash recovery, or ROM, or any command. I have all drivers installed correctly, vendor id of 0x1bbb is set in a.ini file in adb_usb.ini, i keep search for different approaches but turning up nothing!
Are there anything to suggest? I would be most appreciative!
Thanks, Marlin

MY TV ALMOST ROOTED ( Brandt 32 andriod 6.0 )

Hi guys i hope every body is ok i wanna get root for my smart tv brandt 32 ( andriod 6 ) the original manufacter of this device is konka (chinese brand )
i have access to the stock recovery i was able to extract the boot.img and recovery.img files from system using adb shell commands but i couldn't port the recovery with twrp auto porter or patch the boot with magisk
i will upload my stock boot.img and recovery.img and my tv spec below on attachment hoping someone can port the recovery or patch the boot for me
NOTE : i was able to unpack both of the recovery and the boot with andriod image kitchen and im ready to upload the unpaked files if that necessary
(i tried the repack stock recovery and it's work perfectly )
finaly guys you are my only hope to root this device i hope someone can help me and thanks for ur time
i tried to patch boot.img with magisk on two of my rooted phones but both showed errors, the first one (unsopported) and the other (unable to unpack boot image), even if it worked how would you run the fastboot commands? because direct usb connection with pc doest work on mine.
Then i tried to follow a tutorial to make a custom recovery but it requires a custom recovery of a phone with the same chipset which i couldnt find.
too bad one click root apps didnt work , i would have a better chance if i could wire my tv to pc (could you?).

How to flash a GSI in realme X?

I'm currently using Realme X RMX1901(CN)(4-64gb), i switch to different roms pretty frequently . just now, i tried OOS GSI(A only), but its stuck in a bootloop(just showing realme logo and going on-off.
this is how i flashed using latest TWPR:
1. formated all my data(including everything in the advanced option)
2. used my pc to extracted .img file from .7z file,
3. copied that .img file to phone storage and
4. flashed .img file , only the system image.
the flash completed without any error, then i rebboted it(also tried by formatting only internal data)
my question is where did i go wrong? did i miss any part or did it wrong?
please let me know, thanks in advance.

Hello friend, I am very sorry for Spam. I need help can you help me? I have a situation that when I try to flash a zip package with the extension img.xz - Loader built into TWRP Recovery - in LG G4 H815 - does not want to load this zip package correctly - claiming that it cannot recognize this Android image - which is in the zip package . I understand that I am dealing with an Android image that is compressed from the standard img format to the img.xz format. My Loader in TWRP Recovery fails to detect the img.xz image format.
I need to know the name of the application / tool for image decompression img.xz - xz extension - this is the format that says about using Android image compression - do I understand correctly? If at the moment the Loader built into Recovery TWRP is not reading my image file img.xz from Android - what should I do in this situation?
I think you should think about Decompressing the img.xz image - because I got information from a friend - that if by some miracle the Loader built into TWRP Recovery - would correctly detect the img.xz image - from Android - i.e. a compressed image, then after installing this image on the disk - maybe brick the phone. Because in this situation the Loader would drop a compressed version of the Android image, which would mean an unexpected error. Fortunately in this TWRP Recovery - there is a built-in system - security - which stops flashing / installing the zip package - when the Android image is compressed.
I am asking for your help and support for me.

Can you tell me if there are img images from Pixel Experience available for download - which are not compressed to xz format?
Is an android image in standard img.
I am looking for a Pixel Experience image that is not compressed in the standard img format - because the Loader in TWRP Recovery does not detect compressed Android images - which are packed in a zip package.
