Hello everyone. I decide to build my unofficial builds for Sony Xperia M (C1905/NICKI) device since official builds stops.
Main differences comparing with offiicial LineageOS:
Integrated OMS patch with LineageSubstratum project. Before that, i used LineageOMS project, but author decide to freeze development. Currently only clean Lineage 14.1 will be builded. Latest rom with LineageSubstratum - lineage-14.1-20171126_103228-UNOFFICIAL-nicki-loms
Removed 2 apps: Snap (due to video recording bug) and Camera2 (due to sdcard save problem). Replaced with OpenCamera
Warning! These builds incompatible with last official build for Xperia M lineage-14.1-20170427-nightly-nicki-signed and requires full system/data/cache wipe.
Building is performed from time to time or weekly based. So check & download my build host recently! BTW, all builds checked manually by me on my phone, so be sure - no invalid roms.

Yep, thats known bug with com.cyanogenmod.snap application. Any other camera app record video without bugs. I recommend Open Camera (net.sourceforge.opencamera) from F-Droid.
It might be heard stupid...but how can I change the battery circle to percentage? There was always this choise in other roms but I cannot find it here.
By the way,I installed it yesterday paired with hana kernel,overclocked to 1350...it is really fast (for its age)! No overheating issues just one random restart.I do not know if it is the rom or the kernel,I will find out in the future.I do not have a sim inside (it is just a back up phone).I installed apps,browsed the internet, browsed in phone files etc.It is good.Concerning speed >Antutu bench stock ~19500,overclocked bench ~24500.

Big update for this firmware! Replaced kernel to modded HanaKernel (limit max_cpu_freq to 1458MHz, min_cpu_freq to 192MHz - for stability at boot stage), replace Snap to Camera2 (Snap is useless in video recording at this device), replaced my phone blobs to blobs from TheMuppets repo. As per the request and comments on RR thread i created a seperate thread for my build... To be frank yes copying was easy and i thougt of doing ..I have not spend much time in that lol.. Anyways I have not copied your build or work mate !!!

just to be clear, I never said nor insinuated that you copied my build, very difficult to do that anyway as being all open source, no one is copying anyone, simply building the same source code. Just frustrating to have ones words taken and repeated without permission, attribution or even a simple acknowledgement, and its suddenly something that has happened a lot in the past few days.

OMS(meaning substrarum) I installed from the Play Store on the 12/24 build seems to work fine. Wifi cuts out at random is that the bug everyone talks about? It just puts am X in it and says connected but no internet.

Same here on both counts. Gonna install the 28th build to check it the wifi's fixed. That's literally the only bug i need fixed to be 100% daily driver. So awesome how fast CM/RR came all the sudden.

NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.

As Lineage OS, there should not have any problem with mobile data, but call echo will appear randomly (according to different hardware which Samsung use).

There is a error in make SD card as internal storage, so it can't move app to SD card in Nougat.
This error is mentioned in Alberto's post, I use his device, vendor, hardware source to make this ROM, so this ROM have the same problem.

I think it maybe a little better than Lineage OS because source is optimized.
Here is the screenshot, regularly, if it show's 3 hours left, it actually can use 3~4 hours
Lineage OS often show's 2 or 3 hours left, so I think it was a little better than Lineage OS.
But due to the exynos hardware, it will be heat if you use your phone to play a big game or other heavy CPU work, it can't be solved because exynos 5410 is heat and battery drain since it be announced.

What bugs do we have here?
Does it support remapping the hardware keys (like RR) for example, you can use long press on back button to get you back to home..
Please make a telegram group to discuss the ROM..
And for battery drain, I suggest you to underclock the CPU to 450mhz and use only two cores.

Yes, you can use aroma, but had better not install Google camera in order to use delta update.
It support remapping the hardware but not support long press custom.
About bugs, please read the main post
About battery drain, Mokee Open Source make some optimizations, and kernel is not been limited.
About using smartpack Kernel, you can use twrp to flash it, and I am working for merge smartpack kernel to Mokee.

The latest rom is built with kernel 3.18, but be careful about some drives cause different HW versions will boot loop.

Yeah, some drives will struck meizu on 20171001 version, flash 20170909 version is ok(the kernel is 3.10.

video recording nd camera encoders which are not supported by our hardware however it support footej and software so footej works partially that's the reason

With smeroni68's authorization I'm offering you the latest version of the ROM, built from source, with some changes to keeping it up to date and maintained.
These changes are:
Latest security bulletins and changes from AOSPKernel upstreams from Linux StableUpdates from Code Aurora Forum (CAF)Some smallish modifications of standard apps or behavior
All credit goes to the JDC team!

They are the geniuses behind this awesome ROM and kernel, and I'm only making basic and minor modifications to it.

Install latest TWRP
Make backups and store them externally
Wipe dalvik, cache, system, vendor, data
When coming from any android version other than Nougat 7.1.2:
Make external backups of your internal storage content
Format data (type "yes" way)
Reboot to recovery to access the data partition correctly again
Flash adequate firmware
No reboot in between the following and the optional steps
Flash ROM
Optionally:
Flash Gapps for 7.1.x arm64. I recommend OpenGapps Pico with additions (1) OR Stock with gapps-config.txt file (2):
(1) Flash Gapps additions (for example these by @Deltadroid)

Flash ThemeReady GApps package for Nougat arm64 (I don't)
Flash root (Latest Magisk is working fine for me)
After the first boot
Follow the gapps assistant (in case you installed gapps)
Wait 2 - 5 minutes to let everything settle in

You'll only wanna install the kernel separately when there's a kernel-only update later than the last ROM version!
Wipe dalvik and cache

Optionally: Re-flash root (if you were rooted before or now wanna be rooted)

flash zcx twrp
make a backup of your persist partition (let's call that x)
store x externally in case the fix shouldn't work or make anything worse (which I don't believe, but still)
download this zip file and place it where x had been stored (replace x with it)
hit restore in twrp, and select the new backup file you just put in place where x was
reboot to system
You can switch to official twrp afterwards without any problem!

Just so you could flash back stock kernel separately.

You should be able to dirty flash, although I think that a clean flash is advisable.
B-B-kernel should be working, but keep in mind that I am gonna keep updating the stock kernel and the B-B one is getting more and more outdated.

I would suggest Nougat-based firmware, but maybe on Oreo-based everything is working as well - can't say.
You need to try that out (on your own risk).

If you are on stock TWRP you need to flash 4.4 to avoid any problems like /data corruption!
You need to perform a factory reset (format /data)!
Flash rom, gapps/microG and optionally magisk.

Camera hang in Snap when switching to HDR (click back button and open camera again, boom, it's working)

1- Does the kernel support HW Encryption? I remember on Havoc 2.9 (Android P) there was a port of 4.4 kernel with working HW crypto.
2- Will you release a standalone package of the infinity kernel in the future that can be used with other ROMs?

1. AFAIR not yet because it's not merged on LOS.
2. Probably no because there are too many custom changes made (dt & vendor) and I don't like listening to moaning that something is broken. I want to release more interesting ROMs some day (Syb... uhh ekh... eria).

Hmmm, that's interesting question. I've only focused on making it fulfill all Android Q requirements concerning vendor separation (and such as APEX), not intended to make it GSI friendly. I guess there are still some incompabilities and you can't expect such and old device to be GSI friendly.

Test yourself, the biggest culprit about I can do nothing more is RIL. Maybe when Xiaomi releases Q for daisy, the blobs will make it better.
