Hi all.
Sorry if this is a really stupid question. I've just purchased a huawei watch and upgraded it to android wear 2 but I can't work out how to sync watch faces that I have purchased from the play store. I've purchased them on my phone and gone into the android wear settings and forced a recync of apps but still no new watch faces.
What am I doing wrong ?

You can try downloading them using the play store on your watch.

From what I have seen, you HAVE to install them through the Play Store on your watch. It beats me why Google removed the app sync, at least for those apps that need to be installed on both.

Found these instructions on Phandroid and thought I would share them with everyone. Worked like a charm for me. This will get rid of the Android Market app/icon on your phone and replace it with the Google Play Store.
1. Install or update to the latest version of Play Books, Play Movies, or Play
Music
2. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Market and hit “Clear data”
3. Open Play Books, Play Movies, or Play Music
4. Tap the Play Store icon and accept new terms of service
5. Welcome to the Google Play Store
Much easier way. Just clear data on market and uninstall updates, then after you open the market it updates to Play.
too bad you still cant rent any movies if you're rooted.

so whats the difference with the play market and how the music market was before....looks the same to me, except for a few new squares like play beats and play guitar......other than that its the same.
well that was a waste...the version number isn't even different despite a new TOS message. Either this doesn't work for the update or they just rebranded the old Android Market.

I followed the steps exactly as above and at first wasn't able to access the Android Market app anymore, it said it doesn't exist. I shut my phone off, turned it back on and I had a new app called Play Store. This app replaces the Android Market App.

It's pretty much the same ,Google Music, Google eBookstore, and the Android Market were combined to form Google Play. You can purchase music, movies, books, and apps at play.google.com, but those items will also be stored in the cloud. You'll be able to do the same thing on your Android phone or tablet using the various Google Play apps. More info below.

did it without clearing data for the market, just updated play music and hit the market button in it and it updated to play (market?).
Or you could just download this.
You will most likely have to reboot after installing it like I did.
Hi there. Can anyone please advise if I can at one go send two or more customised watch faces to moto 360 by any other apps other than Facer or WatchMaker? In doing so, I can change watch faces like the pre-loaded ones by Moto 360 any time without using Facer or WatchMaker one by one? Thanks.

On play store, there are a lot of faces. Go to play, then apps and tap o categories, selec android wear you can see that there are a secction for wear faces... no need facer nor watchmaker... some are free others you have to pay... planets is very cool...

You can select the faces using moto app on phone or using your motor 360.
What i have done is installed facer and watchmaker and installed a face on them both each and swap between the two when i want simply by holding down on screen and selecting facer or watchmaker easy way of having your best two faces without uploading.

I have a new watch paired with a Nexus 6p with the developer preview 3 of android 7.1.1
The watch don't install any app. The phone have all the apps updated but in the wath there are no calculator, no maps, no no no and no.
Any idea? i'm so disapointed.
My girfriend have a Moto 360 sport, with de same phone and android version, working perfect.

android wear dev preview app sync are disabled because apps are going to be moved ot the new watch store
either sideload them using a pc or downgrade to android wear 1.5 to get apps to sync
oh by the way
you are trolling in the part " your gf have moto 360 with the same android version" moto 360 is stuck on 1.5 ( android 6)

hi! thanks for the answer, but not in this case, both watches have stock android wear 6.0.1 and both nexus 6p phones have 7.1.1 dev preview.
The moto 360 sport install apps without problem but the huawei not.
Open android wear 2 app > click gear icon > click Huawei watch> click resync apps if you are on android wear 1.5 this should make it
just use the APK installer tool

Like with Xposed modules, or faking a samsung device to install the Galaxy Store?

I have Iphone and when I search for certain watch faces its not available.
I have a same problems and don´t have soluctions.

Not right now.. In the meantime I bought a galaxy watch and forgot the 360 at my parents home.
By the way it's the very first generation and play services was the latest available for it (I think 8.something maybe?)

That could be the reason, update Play services and things should work again.
