Andriod 7.1.1. -> lineage-14.1-20170703-nightly-crackling-signed.zip - Wileyfox Swift

Hello,
i made the Wileyfox-Update from Cyanogen OS to Android 7.1.1.
Now i want to change to Lineage OS - Android is calling home to often.
I am a Newbee with phones, so please be patient.
I used twrp-3.1.1-0-crackling.img and lineage-14.1-20170703-nightly-crackling-signed.zip.
I nearly worked through the manual.
After the installation of Lineage i choosed in the TWRP-Recovery "Reboot - System."
The Swift starts into the Fastboot Menu.
What happens when i choose the options:
Start - Fastboot starts
Restart bootloader - Fastboot starts
Recovery Mode - TWRP starts
A few infos from the Fastboot-Menu:
Bootloader-Version: crackling-N-gef75ac3
Secure Boot: enabled
Device State: unlocked

You need to go back to Cyanogen and then flash Lineage, see post #156 in thread 'Nightly 14.1 lineageOS Rom For Crackling'.

Hello, kabu83,
Lineage OS is running, thank you!

Wolfgang

LG G4 CM13 Android 6.0 SuperSU - Stuck on Cyanogen Logo

Hello. So as my adventure with the G4 continoues my problems also continue. This morning I flashed CM13 successfully but without GApps. I hopped into my Recovery and installed the GApps, so then I realized that I have no SuperSU, in my happyness I forgot the no-need for it in CM13 quickly... I installed the newest BETA and rebooted my device. Now it's stuck in this CM13 Screen.
What can I do now? I have had USB Debugging enabled but I can't do anything with ADB while in the Boot. It means "device offline"

LG G4 bootloop with Lineage OS via Substratum

Hello all,
My LG G4 had been updated by Lineage OS 14.1 . I used Substratum, and i added a theme, but i finally didn't like it.
So when i wanted to remove it, i saw that magisk didn't work anymore, and i rebooted my phone to stop that bug. And well, it was a bad idea, because the phone bootloop at the start animation of Lineage OS.
More than that, i can't boot in recovery with hardware, my phone go anytime i tried to the start animation of Lineage OS.
Fastboot and adb don't work too.
I don't what to do more than that.
Thanks for your help.

Stuck on "penguin" boot (RESOLVED!)

Hopefully someone can help me its for X800 china version
I tried to open the phone after 2 years, and tried to update it with official ROM from http://123.59.123.195/cn/download/phone/30
After updating, when I tried to reboot it, it got stuck on this black screen with a small penguin, and then after few seconds, it restarts back with the same black screen and the penguin.
I can still access TWRP recovery if I press the vol up button while it is restarting. I tried installing different custom ROM, but to no avail. I would really appreciate if you can help me fix my phone
EDIT: RESOLVED
It was looping on fastboot mode (the penguin icon)
Tried installing an older version, lollipop based, from Cuoco92 (from here https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=57901) and it worked again (thanks Cuoco92!)
Upon reading online, it seems the partition may have been corrupted since I'm trying to flash a MM ROM from a lollipop ROM ,without updating the firmware
I found out that I need to update the firmware to 16S, which I downloaded from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...ollipop-marshmallow-firmware-x800-cn-t3463736
(thanks hugoprh!)
After that I am able to install any ROM, from MM and up (was able to install Lineage OS 14.1)

Galaxy A5 (2017) with LineageOS automatically reboots when turned off.

Hi,
After some hard work I finally got TWRP and LineageOS installed on my Galaxy A5. It now works properly except that when I try to turn it off, the screen becomes black for a few seconds and then it reboots.
Did anyone encountered this problem before? Do you have an idea of a possible fix?

Same problem here. Have you found a solution?
Hi,
Yes, I finally found a solution. The problem was that I was trying to install Lineage OS 14.1 (based on Android 7) on a phone where Android 8 was installed.
At that point, you have two solutions:
Install a stock version of Android 7 before flashing LineageOS
Find a version of LineageOS 15 that works on Galaxy A5.
I chose option 1 and it did work perfectly.
Thank you. I'll try that as soon as I can. (I will also choose option 1.)
When i try to install a stock version of Android 7 with Odin, it fails with this message on the phone in download mode : "SW REV. CHECK FAIL(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 7, BINARY: 4". Any idea ?

You shouldn't interrupt the update process. Can you boot into fastboot mode? There you can install twrp.
