Fixes:
Optimized code greatly for larger lists. Opening a large list, e.g. 40 items per tab over 3 tabs opens in 5 seconds instead of 30. This has a huge impact on older / slower devices.

I'm open to suggestions as far as modification and such. It is designed for and works for the Touch HD as far as resolution is concerned. I don't know about other devices as I haven't tested it on any as I have no others.

You mean the home screen being where it shows the clock, your missed calls, voicemails, calendar events, etc. right? If so, I wasn't aware things could be added to that. If they can I could look into it.

That would be 240x320 mate and good work simple and easy to use, its just a shame so many good apps get lost in the different development threads, i only found this due to pocketnow.com
Just found another problem with my TP2. I want to move some files to another location but I cannot select multiple files in File Explorer by draging the stylus to highlight them.
Is this behaviour by design or is there a bug on my device?

And indeed, it works.
But it introduces another problem: To switch between your mail account, you can swipe from left to right.
But after this patch, that doesn't work anymore
So I've put the old setting back.

It's in the messaging app, not in manilla.
When you're in the messaging app, and you move your finger from left to right, it toggles between the configured mail accounts.
In mine TP2 for example: Outlook - Gmail - SMS (and then it starts over with Outlook.)
And although my provider is TMO, I have an unbranded Touch Pro2 WWE edition.

Indeed, that's a problem.
The Xperia I had recognized if you are using the finger or the stylus. When using the finger the application scrolls and when using the stylus you can draw a frame to multiselect items.
Maybe that's possible with the TP2 too?

So scrolling of anything in any WM apps (contacts, text messages, emails, calendar entries) will no longer work without using the scroll bar?
I just checked stock shipped Raphael (SEA 20764) OEMDrivers rgu, the value is set to 1 by default. And yes, messaging still scrollable to switch email account
I can still left< >right scroll between email accounts after this tweak.

You mean in photo albums? I have never been able to do either, even before the tweak.
I can double tap the image to enlarge it, or use the slider at the bottom of the screen to zoom in.
In any case, the inability to group files together in File Explorer is more of an issue for me than being able to rotate a photo (can always turn the phone 90 degrees instead), and the registry tweak has fixed that.
Very strange, just tried it again: With the patch --> no swiping, undoing the patch --> swipings works.
Too bad, I'd loved to have the best of 2 worlds like Mesquire...

so weird! My TP2 suddenly lost it even with this set to 1
already tried rebooting: still nada.
UPDATE:
on further investigation, I found I can select multiple files only in some folders, e.g., root directory of the storage card, My wallpapers, Templates, files and folders directly under My Device, Application Data, Program Files...
but not files directly under My Documents, whether under My Device or storage card

The only way to have the ability to select multiple files in any folder AND keep left< >right scroll to switch email accounts is to set the it to 1, but not reboot. If I reboot with it set to 1, it behaves like the above.
Right now I have decided to set to 1 only when I need to select multiple files with the stylus, and change it back to 0 thereafter, or before a reboot. What a pain!

but I prefer doing in portrait - if I open the keyboard to use its CTRL key, the screen switches to landscape mode.

well for instance i wanna change the keyboard to either htc or iphone.... this one is too crammy like congested.... wanna have a spacious potrait keyboard......... and with universal setting like if i wanna activate predective text it should apply everywhere... not just in messages........ and it should always stay on..........

7. Sending Group SMS to any number of people (can be very useful for certain type of
businesses. Did u think about it Sammy ?)
8. Auto-hide of Notification bar and Lower bar after certain amount of time or on Tap.
9. Different Wallpapers on every home screen.
10. Better animations.
11. Smaller icons. 4x5 grid with an option to change to suit consumers' taste.

13. In-built Backup-Restore app for all phone data. User should be able to select to what he

There is also an option to focus on video recording "RecordFocusMode" from "0" to "2" default "0". Try setting but do backup before (right click and copy).

Doesn't work mate, I tried copying your file and then doing a soft rest and it didn't work. I also tried playing with options like RecordFocusMode and IntelligentAuto but still the same...
It would be very AWESOME if we get continous autofocus on Wave!

Hey how you copy a file because the file copied to the phone is only by drag and drop. If you are able to copy my files when you start the camera will see the icon "sA" without restarting the phone. Otherwise the effect of the settings I have attached the file with changed sound of shooting

Yes I copied by drag and drop and I've seen your "sA" icon at the beginning but the continous autofocus is nowhere to be seen...
Is there anyway to save camera shoot images in uncompressed format so that the quality of captured images will be maximum?

I would like to have more keyboard languages (with T9 or whatever it's called on the Wave).
I have seen a friend of mine with a Wave from Vodafone, and he has 30+ langage/keyboard optinons. On my wave (normal German FW) I have about 10. No Cyrillic characters, no Chinese, no Arabian...
How am I supposed to use the full functionality of such a wonderful phone if i can't write an email to a friend /business associate in Russia for example.
I could grump about it a few more pages, but the essence should already be clear
P.S. AFAIK the languages are stored in the CSC flash file, so it's not so easy to "just add" some in, but I hope someone from samsung might also see this and think about it.

First i want to thank Heathcliff74 for the root tools that the samsung focus to be able to access these parts of the registry and write to them, we were not able to reach or do before. Also want to thank Julien Schaps for the registry editor, and also his other apps. Also thanks to Reddragon93 for His advance explorer.

For those with NODO
select the ringtone in settings, rintones & sounds, that you want as SMS and goto HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\......Ringtone "0" folder and copy the value data, then go paste that into the value data for the sound for SMS. Then go back and select the phone ringtone for calls in settings that you want for phone ring.
If you dont have NODO just create the correct path in SMS sound \My Documents\My Ringtones\xxxxxx.wma

These changes may impact the card stability issue but mine still remains stable. But i think in my experience it saves on battery and i also can tell a difference with the speed, i have no lag at all and seams to be a bit quicker!!

im using omnia7 but still the sms still not working everytime when i insert the path of the custome ringtone. and check the ringtone setting it will go back to NONE ....
Yes it will show none in the settings menu, but it changes the path that it selects for the SMS tone. Just send yourself a txt and you see. It will be possible for it to show up in UI maybe when file is able to be added to windws folder I think.

Make sure you have the path correct in SMS\ sound: Value: \My documents\My Ringtones\xxxxxx.wma if you are creating the value. It works i promise, try a reset after making the edit. Being able to have it in the windows folder will only allow it to show up in the list selection i do believe.

Have you inserted the correct path for the sms sound: value \My documents\My Ringtones\xxxxxx.wma then do a reset?
Make sure the song is in the right Caps for the letters in the ringtone

It is in the windows folder listed as mologo.file
I think i may have the HD video resolution to be able to set higher, but havent tried to play video on computer yet to see if its full screen....will try to do that tomorrow and see how it works.
Im curious Lucas , once we have file system access (Focus) , with the mologo file , would you be able to change the file completely or would you have have to use the name mologo (even with a different picture) ? I mean personally I dont even want the screen to show up , giving me a faster boot!
Is it possible to create a widget that will draw images randomly from a designated folder. I've been searching to see if someone has done something similar to this but it looks like the closest I can get is using the images as an iconset although I still don't know how I would have Zooper pull the images randomly (I want to add to the folder occasionally). Is this something that I could do by adding in Tasker?
Any ideas?
I currently have an image widget on one of my homescreens and the way I do it is as follows:
I basically add each photo as a bitmap: So you add a bitmap module and then you navigate to the photo you want in your device gallery. After choosing your photo, you need to add advanced parameters that will control the bitmap opacity at a certain time during the day.
[bo][/bo] is used for bitmap opacity
#DH# is used for local hour during the day (0-23)
my conditional is set up as follows for my first photo.
[bo]$#DH#>=16&&#DH#<22?100:0$[/bo]
What this means is that if the current local time on my device is between the hours of 16 to 22 (4pm to 10pm) then set the bitmap opacity to 100%, else set it to 0%. You can theoretically set this up to have a max of 24 photos (one per hour) each day that continually loops. Mine is set up in intervals of 6 hours (4 photos total) but I plan on changing the values to allow for more.
The next one would be:
[bo]$#DH#>=22||#DH#<04?100:0$[/bo]
Notice I use an OR statement || versus an AND statement && because the value goes from 0-23 and if you used an && here the image would never display because of the conflicting conditional.

I'm assuming this is sort of what you are going for with your widget? It's not really "random" per se but it gets the job done. Not quite sure what you could do involving tasker.

I was thinking about doing exactly this or possibly applying weather conditions to various pictures also. It doesn't really look like it's possible to add a random factor but this should do the trick.

There is mathematical function you can use called rand...
Izzy Lamantia helped me out with this ...
The random function provides a number between 0*1, like 0.866390265. Let's say you had 10 pictures (named 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc.) you wanted to randomize on the hour:
$#Dm#=0?(int(random()*10)$.jpg
So again, on every hour a random number will be generated, multiplied by 10, and return it as an integer 0.866390265 x10= 8.66390265, as an integer 8.

So I would need to label the images: 1.png (I'm using png's), 2.png, 3.png, etc...?
Would the limit then be 10 images? If I wanted to use more than 10 images I could x 100 but then I'm guessing I would need to assign each image a range, if n >= 25 and n < 30 then x.png and so on. Can that be done?
Also, I'm a little unclear about how bitmap absolute path works. Is there a specific folder that I would need to put my bitmaps in? Looking at this example it seems that I can pick any folder I want.
It's awesome to hear that this can be done. I just need to work out the details now.

I was having some trouble getting this working but I finally found that there needs to be an extra set of parentheses.
$#Dm#=0?(int(random())*100)$ which give me a 2 digit number.
Now... I either have to pick 100 images (and label them 0-99, or is it 1-100?) or find a way to give the images a range.
If I have 2 separate widgets using the same parameters and drawing from the same folder, will the random number be the same or different in each of the widgets?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you
You would need 100 images and label them 1-100 if your multiplier is 100. You would need, say, 123 images and label them 1-123 if you multiplier is 123 i.e. $#Dm#=0?(int(random())*123)$
In my experience, the number generated is always different even if two random functions are performed at the same time although there is always the possibility that it will occasionally be the same.
I can't seem to get the widget working.
Here are the parameters I'm using $#Dm#=43?/sdcard/Pictures/Pics1/(int((random())*10)).png$.
Ignore the 43. Whatever time it is, I just add a minute so that I don't have to wait long to see if the widget will update.
I thought it might be the file path so I tried a few others:
/storage/sdcard0/Pictures/Pics1/
/emulated/0/Pictures/Pics/
Any ideas?

Create a folder on your sd card and put 10 jpg's in there titled 1.jpg through 10.jpg
Create a Zooper Widget and add a bitmap layer
do not choose an image, instead select Advanced Parameters and insert the following code
/sdcard/full path to image folder/$#Dm#>0?(int((random())*10)))$.jpg
If the above is correct then the example box should list /sdcard/full path to image folder/*.jpg
What does this do? If the minute is greater than 0 it will generate a pseudo-random number between 1 and 0. If you have set Zooper to update when the screen is off then you will want to replace the ">" with "=" so it only updates once an hour. You can make further adjustments by using Dh for hours rather than minutes. As stated above you can increase the images by multiplying by 100.
I wrote it like I did because I don't let Zooper update while the screen is off. If I changed the image on the hour it would likely not update the image because I would have to have my screen on at the beginning of each hour. As it is, it changes the image every 10 seconds or so whenever I have the screen on.
I am open to other modifications of this so I can keep Zooper configured to not update when the screen is off, and only change the images every 10 minutes or so.
Also, you may want a fallback image so you have something to display while you wait to whatever condition needs to be meet in order for Zooper to generate the random number.

I did the above, but had to add an extra parentheses before the word "int" to get it to display properly in the example box.

However, when I save and exit out of the Zooper, it still just shows the default "folder" icon. I have it pointing to 1-10.jpg in a folder called "test" on my internal SD. I also tried the code in the advanced parameters of an existing picture I had on my widget, and it didn't do anything either.

If you have pictures 1-10 and you use random times 10, wouldn't the only picture that would get displayed be picture 10 (which is when random equals 1, times 10).
Or is the value for ((int((random())*10))) actually limiting the random numbers to be 1-10?

I actually have 66 pictures and the number increases everyday, since they're pictures of my boyfriend and he's constantly sending me new ones... or we're taking new ones etc. LOL I just change the number it multiplies by as the pictures increase.
I'm not sure if number one gets displayed... I could however rename picture one to 67 so there's never a problem. Since there's so many its hard to tell.

mate, i did following your code but in zooper widget, it only shown folder icon, i use .png picture, so this is correct, it must be jpg ?

You should be able to do this with tasker/zooper integration. I have a weather radar image that I download via tasker. Due to how zooper buffers images I haev to change the filename each time I refresh the image. The new alternating path to the image is passed from tasker to zooper. First time is w1.jpg, next time is w2.jpg. This idea could be extended for images in a folder.
