According to my usage, i usually end up with 7-10h SOT. Note that I'm gapps free and I'm not using Facebook app or such other crap which drain battery af.

I get 4-5 Hours with Google apps using Pixel Launcher. I mostly use WhatsApp, Boost for Reddit and my camera

I'm getting 6-7h sot with EMUI 5.0.1. No facebook, with messenger lite and instagram. My usage is mostly on chat apps and brave browser.

No more than 5 hours, on standard use, from 90% to 10/15% of battery capacity.
Sent from Lenovo Tab 3 8" Plus with Lineage 14.1

I get 5-6 hrs on 4g with messenger, Facebook and WhatsApp

Battery life

Anyone have feedback on SOT?
Anecdotally, about 3 hours SOT. But my signal isn't great, and I'm a moderate user.
I'll post some screen shots later. But it's above average battery life. 3 hrs SOT usually. Using it with LTE and no Google now service. Lasts around 16 hrs.

Here is the usage. Not that great but manageable.
Actually, I'm getting a pretty awesome SoT: 6 hours, with light-moderate usage (mostly reddit and G+, some Youtube, Hangouts and Chrome). Auto brightness is on, sync is on, 3G on (although I'm on wifi) and NFC is on.
Mind you, I don't use any crappy battery-draining apps like WhatsApp/Facebook/Snapchat/Viber.
So...6 hours SoT but your screenshot shows just over 3?

He has half battery left
Battery seems to be sliding more quickly here. Time will tell.
Looking forward to getting some custom kernel love on this device tbh.
UPDATE: I'd call myself a moderate user as I don't really game much.
I'm getting pretty horrendous battery life. Looking at it dropping a percent near every couple of minutes, maybe less, of use. I left work at 16:00 and I've dropped from 50% battery (minimal use from 06:20 this morning), to 24% while I type.
That's just not acceptable. I'm looking at getting barely 3.5hrs SOT at this rate.
I thought it would settle but it hasn't. I've got Greenify pro and even hibernated Facebook and Messenger but I'm not seeing too much of a difference.
Phone also appears to get hot with certain task very very easily. Particularly when browsing. Might try a different browser, but if the problem, this is therefore only a workaround.
The Robin is my wife's phone. She charges it each morning before work and after 24 hours usually is down to around 35-40% and will have at least 2.5 hours of SOT.
She uses Wi-Fi at home, and I think all of her SoT is in chrome. She uses Gnow and has location set to high accuracy.
This morning she didn't charge it and was at 62% but I didn't check her usage stats. Tonight she'll be at 36+ hours off the charger and I'll check it then.
Yesterday was an incredible day for battery. Hit a magical 5 hours of SOT. Normal usage, but I am a light to moderate user.
Please define light to moderate user if you can? I have emails, Gmail, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc all syncing and use mainly chrome, YouTube and the above apps..I'm seeing close to 3 hours SoT with GPS Bluetooth and wifi always on.

@Wiggz - I use Messenger, Facebook, Bacon Reader, Twitter, Inbox, and Chrome most of the day. I have GPS off since I don't really use Maps too often and brightness was at about 50-55%. I also don't have a BT device, so BT is off as well.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has more feedback

I haven't used it for much more than GPS driving. An hour and a half with screen constantly on used up about 16% of the battery, indicating slightly over 9 hours.
3hrs SoT isn't better than average, 4hrs is average.
So no one is getting good battery life? 4 hours screen on is AVERAGE. You should get that with LTE enabled and using twitter, reddit, youtube, etc.

If you are going to use Facebook and the Messenger app you will never have decent enough battery life on any phone. Those are some of the worst apps developer could have made and consume A LOT of battery in background. If you remove those two apps I can almost guarantee that your battery life will be improved by 20-25%.

Sounds great so far, knowing that the battery normally becomes better after 2-3 days of charging I hope that we will reach even better SOTs
I hpe for at least 4-5 sot with wifi and normal usage and 3.5 hrs for mobile data.

SOT really depends on usage, and whilst I was one like many here that is obsessed with SOT, I've started to just use phones without really worrying about it. Plus Dash charge is a great addition (aside from having to carry the charger with you).
Used a few apps, specially Snapchat and Whatsapp. Got a screen on time of 3.5 hrs on 4G. Decent yeah. OPO had a tad bit better.

I think it is good. So with wifi around 4,5 hrs sot with this usage.
Getting 4.5 SOT after 1st day of use.
Battery currently at 11%.

No complaints and oxygen os is updated to latest

What's the stand by?
I bought it on the launch day and conducted the test the next day after a full cycle. At precisely 5 pm I unplugged the device, at 100%, Connected to wifi with brightness at 25%, with auto brightness off. The phone was at 3% the next day at 4 pm. I got about 5 hours and 15 minutes of screen on time, moderately heavy usage, the phone only lost 6% overnight. Made 15 minutes worth of phone calls, light gaming, lots of browsing and video watching. And some apps with location as well. My previous phone was a oneplus one and for my usage, it seems to be giving me better battery life.

I'm soo ****ing tempted to send my nexus 5x back and get the op3. 400 bucks is a steal with those specs. Also your SOT looks good. Are you using a dark theme and a dark wallpaper or not? From what I've read it comes prerooted?

Nope. Actually refrained from using the dark theme to see how well the battery does. And my wallpaper is the default never settle wallpaper. And no, it doesn't come pre-rooted.

Thanks for the info. Rooting that thing shouldn't be too hard anyway. Wonder how much battery you can sqeeze out with a dark theme / wallpaper? Haven't used an oled screen in years, though. Even more tempted now.
Time on: 7h 2m 41s
Computer power use: 534 mAh
I'll PM the Droplr link for the battery stats and SoT screens
I've using the following:
Dark Mode active throughout
Night Mode active throughout [ I REALLY REALLY LOVED IT, so I keep it on all the time.]
Apps used - Gmail, Excel, Word, Dropbox, Apple Music, Pocketcasts, Fenix, Messenger and Whatsapp.
Data usage is split over LTE and WiFi.
Battery was at 5% as I post this
If there is any other stat you'd like to see let me know
I'm getting exactly 5 hrs of sit for the last 2 charge cycles. Completely on wifi. No sim cards for now and moderate usage with low to no gaming.

Batteyr around 7 hours on regular basis and stretchable upto 9+ hours. Standby time of around 1.5 days.

It is relatively heavy, which can be defined as heavy.
SOT is also important to me as I used to listen to music on my way home + youtube steaming for over two hours a day.

I just use miui battery saver stuffs like background data restriction etc, notifications/gps/sync off, obviously I should have mentioned im using Epic MM build. Sometimes even getting 9H sot mostly on wifi usage.
Besides I get(in 2-3 cycles) nearly 5H sot on RR with my same usage.
I get between 7 hours the bad days, to 11 hours when the phone is happy
On LineageOS, Android 7.1
it seems the biggest factor is the cellular reception, i can easily reach 11h at home but if I'm moving during the day, it'll be more 8h
With me it was great on stock chinese ROM even three days of usage. After the first OTA update this went down about 30% Since Im on Lithium Nightly It was a full day+ but since about three weeks I cant get a full day of usage... Very frustrating... (I own the Mix nearly 10 months now).
I'm currently on RR with the RR kernal gapps and supersu and so far, every 10% battery gives me an hour on-screen time. Haven't fully drained the battery to test overall screen time, but it should roughly last around 10 hours OST. I'll be back with screenshots of usage.
Update: *Tested on LineageOS with same kernal* 9 hours and 30 minutes https://imgur.com/a/4p3Wm

Are you all sure that SOT isn't calculated also while displaying fingerprint area? I didn't test it yet, but it probably also counts sot, so the displayed parameter may show bs.
hmm I don't know, could be.
I used chrome a lot but not sure if it adds up to 7h. I mainly used the phone in bed with lights turned off so the brightness was at lowest setting the most of the time...
I might disable the fingerprint display if thats possible an post another screenshot.
I disabled some sensors with an xposed module and have the feeling that the battery lasts a bit longer since that.
Can give u a list of disabled sensors if you are interested.
