Reconnect-loop Wifi 5GHz... Will have to try this with other routers.
But I do not have this problem with my S8 phone and the same router...

Signal and range are great watching videos 1080p is perfect, I use Plex on it and tried to watch some stuff on it. I never watched anything to the end though. On the other hand, it's near terrible in Online gaming I am pretty sure it's typical Samsung and their ****ty firmware. I have galaxy S4 Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab S3 the 3 always have to reconnect to my wifi in the middle of playing online games. The moment I changed the rom on the S4 no more drop outs is happening, can't wait to change it for the S3 to see how much of a difference it will make.

Mine doesn't drop the connection as such but instead thinks my home WiFi has no data in the bedroom Only way to get it to work is to switch the WiFi on and off. My 3t has no WiFi issues there. Nor had my lost S2.

I am expert on this particular topic but I don't wanna get into it. All there is to say is you need Archer C9 router or better and stop caring for how fast devices use data coz unless you live in San Francisco you don't get 1gbps speed!

WiFi strength is good. Dual channel WiFi is a must these days. I never had disconnects. I have the WiFi only version.
WiFi is the fastest to connect of any device I've ever used. Could be less than a second versus several seconds for a normal device. WiFi seems good as I can regularly pick up WiFi while in my car in a rural town.
It connects quickly, and yesterday got a throughput of 2.7 Mb/s, on a regular connection. Even my desktop doesn't get that sort of speed. I'm quite happy with it.

It's terrible!! Mainly because of Wifi + bluetooth speed problem!!

I find that there is no buffering, good wifi signal all over my house. Home router is a big part of that.
This is the worst part of the phone byfar. Wifi extend much further than it did on my Nexus 6 but it extends it so far that my connection could be at 50k and remain connected. This causes the connection to appear stalled but really it is just buffering.
I have turned on WiFi switching and then advanced WiFi switching but both options are subpar. They almost never like the strength of my wifi signal.

That might be because of your network? I'm playing Arena of Valor another MOBA and I have no lag at all with a constant 60fps gameplay

from indonesia. works fine here. never experienced bad reception.
Quite weak in Bangladesh. Not that apparent in city areas but when you go outside the city it is extremely weak. The wifi is also weak, walking a little far from the router will totally disconnect it. Ans once disconnected, it doesn't connect to the router automatically, you have to toggle wifi off/on. Doesn't happen with my 4 year old J7 Pro. Apparently all the recent models of Samsung has weak antenna design for health safety.
