[ROM] [TW] [4.1.2] NOT NOW v3 FINAL GB27 installed with Aroma 8/5/14

[ROM] [TW] 4.1.2 GB27 Stock Based installed with Aroma running my own Utility Script
This is a completely stock ROM Debloated, Deodex and has had most the system apps moved to "preload" for space saving. I wrote the Aroma Installer Script with the intention of coming back even after you flash the ROM, any ROM really. You can install certain things with the initial install or play around for a bit the run the installer again if you're not happy with the way things are going. It's all up to you. That's why I have based this off a completely Stock ROM.
THE GOODS
*The Aroma script is the key to this ROM This is a first version with more to come.
The script is similar to my "Missing Link" mod in which you can pick just one or as many options as you like with the options having choices to make this ROM your own!!!
The options available right now are;
*Backup your current settings, contacts, text messages, accounts and more. This backup is restorable in recovery so your phone setup will not be needed after flashing the new ROM. This saves the hassle of fixing your sound setting, display setting and so on...
*Wipe options available right now are just plane going dirty no wipe, Cache and Dalvik Cache, the JB 2x's wipe and Media Wipe(w.i.p.) That wipes the folders the build up and don't get wiped (DCIM thumbnails etc...)
*Install ROM,
*Debloat options are; Kobridge's JB 2.4 option and the extreme version I use
then you can start customizing and making this what you want. You will have
*Launchers -
*camera,
*gapps,
*some key apps to help with battery life and performance.

This audio mod combines my previous audio mod with the additions I have added to Project X for an unparalleled Xplosion of sound from your Android device. XLoud, ClearAudio+, Viper4Android, and my own additions combine seemlessly together to give you the most and loudest sound without distortion (YMMV, every device is different). All fit into a 3 MB package.

*Kernel Installer option include Stock or AGATS 1.3.0 or 1.4.2f
*Restore Options. Now you can restore the backup you made of your settings etc..
*Complete ROM theme options (this version includes a full version of Missing Link)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :
ALWAYS make a NANDROID Backup!!!
Download the ROM
Flash from recovery (any recovery should work just fine) I used AGAT 1.4.2f and 1.3.0
GO through the options and let the app reboot for you.
If something doesn't work or it didn't flash something you chose, run it again and save the install log at the end. Please let me know of the situation too.
IF YOU HAVE BOOTLOOP
If you do encounter any bootlooping issue from picking options that don't play nice with each other( which I have running EVERY COMBINATION POSSIBLE, including ones that I know won't play together)
*Step 1: get back to recovery ( AGAT 3.0 installs by default to keep recovery options available)
you may or may not see a warning telling you that your system is read only, don't worry I wrote a fail safe script to get you back,
*Step 2: simply choose "Wipe Options" and wipe caches only
*Step 3: now choose "MODS" and "Fix Permissions"
*Step 4: Reboot and let cache build and rom settle before returning to flash more
those step have saved me from my bootloops while testing!! if that doesn't work for you let me know what does and we can share with everyone else. Thanks

I love this and anyone who flashes a lot of ROMs can appreciate how repetitive it can be setting up the new ROM. This is super! I finally got a chance to try it out and everything went smooth. I picked almost all of the options, and there are no problems that I have noticed so far. All my apps and data seem to be there. My settings were also there except for my custom ringtones I have on my sd card and assigned to different contacts. Setting my custom ringtones is the one thing I have always dreaded when flashing a new rom. Is there anyway to add this ability to this rom? Either way, I love it. I can't wait to see what you do with the next version. Thank you so much!:good:

I don't actually use the phone part of this phone much, but I was playing around with the custom vibration for contacts and have modified the script to back up and restore those so I'm sure ringtones aren't far off. Do you use a special app for the assignment or the stock one? I will check this out for a release due soon. My androidhost account was upgraded to developer now so I will be uploading soon.

That's why I offer testing services, because I can't do what they do. I tried it back when @bilgerryan was on Project X 2.? and things went so south, that I gave up. Worst couple of days of my life. Then I vowed to make a ROM. Vows are made to be broken.

A note about using any additional inverted apps.
When you log into Google, you must disable auto updating from the play store settings, or you'll get the ugly white ones. If it installs the ugly ones on top of the themed ones, you can uninstall updates from settings to get them back.
A note about TBO Updater Free.
They have a lot to offer and try to update as soon as they can. You can follow them over here!
It is also a known issue of the app that it will f/c for some upon completion of a download. The download still completes successfully.
A note about Viper4Android.
This is a great and lightweight audio app that can really improve audio on any phone. You can follow them on XDA or on their official website.

How to use:
EXPERIMENTAL
You'll notice there are a few Google apps with themed icons etc. In the event that they update/auto update, this should fix them. However, the apps must have their updates integrated into system in order to work.

Part 1: integration.
There are a few apps that can do it for you.
>Titanium Backup is one. In tibu when a system app has an update, it gives you this option
Although it might only be for donate version.

Then reboot.
Part 2: The flashable.
Make a backup in recovery!
This will flash the add on. It will modify stock apps and team blackout apps. If you use other themed apps included in this mod and want to keep their png's, just reflash those after this mod. This package wipes dalvik/cache for you. It will (should...I should say should) not break apps.

First off, if you choose to try this out, thank you! This is stable enough for public consumption. And I tried to get everything just right!
This is my first go at anything of this magnatude. So be nice, or I'll cry.
If you find a problem, please give details including a screenshot so it makes it easier to find and fix.

I am not currently taking donations. If you feel the need, anyone I have mentioned above has given more blood and hours on developing than I have!
What's it gonna take to lift this sucker out of "beta"?
1. I know I missed stuff. This was pretty huge for me. 2. I'm only "borrowing" contacts and phone apks from AllBacksBlack with the blessing of coldmethod because this was taking a long time to do and learn inversion at the same time. Official Release will include apps based on VZW N3 base.
Are you open to suggestions?
Absolutely! Bear in mind I don't want to include a million bells and whistles. Pretty much most of the suggestions I will incorporate into deltaROM will be "under the hood". Also, I will not be porting (sorry). There's plenty of amazing ROM choices with S5 ported apps.
SafeStrap supports rom-slots. Why are your install instructions telling me to put deltaROM on the stock slot?
Great question! It is a known side-effect of running a rom in a slot may lag more and drain power faster than in the stock slot. Now I would totally expect you to try this out before deciding to make it your dd. And in that regard, yes, use the rom slot to try it out. HOWEVER, if deltaROM is on a slot other than stock and you complain about a no good laggy battery hog of a rom, the only two responses you'll get from me is "did you read the faq?" or "facepalm".
Are you willing to release a theme version of deltaROM?
Honestly, that’s how this started. Making a theme. But with the different stylings and features of the ROMs available, I would almost need a theme package for every specific rom. Jasmine, Alliance, Stock. I like Biggins, but to theme on top of Cerj's Illuminati would be considered heresy! Too much to do. Because you can’t vr-theme inject individual apps to invert them. Besides, I delved too deep into framework. So I went with dropping a full rom. Different kind of difficult, but far less work than a theme to support multiple styles of rom.
No theme right now. I want to get a fully inverted stock based rom.
For an inverted ROM, this doesn't have that 'blackout' style I'm looking for. Can you make it black-ier?
I could. But why go there when there is already a great theme out to do that for you? Have you seen AllBacksBlack? But I do still plan on inverting the Calendar.
What about GMail, Market, etc? Can you invert those for me too?
Go check out the Team Blackout Updater. Whenever a new version of a Google app (and many others) they will invert is as soon as possible. Also the DarkHorse series looks fabulous with this ROM! Links to both TBO and DH are in the bottom of this post!.

I I can't wait to try this specially because blue is my favorite color and I managed to get the s5 camera working on the Jasmine 2.2.1 from his previous 2.0

Xposed Framework
Yup, you read that right, Xposed is now working on Touchwiz Roms! Xposed really needs no introduction. Unfortunately it seems to boot loop if included directly into the rom so I am providing the files here to flash after the initial boot up. Please flash both files in the order that they are listed. If the first boot causes a boot loop or takes a while to boot then try pulling the battery and booting normally again and it should work. I am considering this in SUPER ALPHA still so please do not flash unless you know how to recover from possible issues and errors such as boot loops. Also, all the modules are not yet compatible with it and most need to be updated. You install them at your own peril. T

How To Install:
1) Reboot your phone into your choice of custom recoveries (twrp or CWM)
2) Perform a factory reset of your device and insure that it erases your data, cache and dalvik caches at minimum
3) Flash the ROM! When finished hit reboot!
4)Wait for it to start, first boot can take a while.
5)Go throughout the whole setup.
6)Reboot back into recovery and now flash the PI_Toggles.zip from Downloads. (Please see the FAQ below for the reason why)

Thanks guys. Everything is still a WIP right now including the op, but I should have the Rom up by tonight. I hope you guys like it. I am not by any means done but figured that I was at a good point for an initial release. There will probably be another one pretty quickly in the next few days because I still have a list of stuff that I want to add about a mile long. Therefor, changes are if there is a feature or mod you want, it is probably coming already.

It will probably be in the next release, not tonights. It was actually in the ROM but pulled it at the last minute because of some issues that I have to fix. Decided to release it anyway though. But its coming.

Not yet. This one is still based on the Canadian Lollipop release. Wifi calling is a Tmobile propriatery feature and is only in Tmobiles framework which hasnt been released yet. Once they do release it, I will most likely be updating it pretty quickly.

Glad to here. Where I live it my service can be spotty on call quality so I'll give this a try see how it does if it doesn't go well I'll just wait thanks!

Yup! I havent personally tested it on the W8 but it is based on the BOC4 framework so it should work no problem. Spen support and all. Everything is fully included except for one small zip to flash after. I just wrote in the FAQ in post 3 why. Everything is fully functional including Private Mode, SuperSU, Shealth etc.

Thank you for making this. I kept the rom on stock. When trying to use this, I was unable to get the battery icon. Does something need to be changed with the framework manually?

How can I get the stock boot splash back? I just Odin'd the stock D0l1 firmware cause was gonna take phone in to jump to another phone. When it booted up the custom splash is still there but everything else is back to stock?

The battery icon requires a modded systemui that had 3minit battery mod.

No, sorry this specific project is not recommended for MM.
I have other projects that are priority and because the interest level here seemed low I've never fully updated this whole project.
If you're looking for some of my work that is compatible and tested with MM, I have several sections of this project pulled out individual flashing, which are Aroma built and have many options.
You can check the following:
**OZOP MM v5 which has all of the following plus the optional OZOP rom install.
All of the choices available in the full OZOP zip are optional and can be selected anytime with any rom.
If you choose to install the "Rom" part you will get the OZOP Control app which includes over 400 mods, that are all optional and set to "stock" samsung values by default.
If you choose not to install the rom, the other options (like debloating, tweaks etc) are compatible with all S6 flat/edge roms (not including ports)
1) Boot/shutdown animations and boot splash logos
2) Latest Viper4Android installer with stock kernel support and additional convolver pack
3) System Animation

Just like I tell any of my new users, make a Nandroid backup before modding your system.
Pretty much everything in the zip should work find with ONE exception, statusbar Theming like signalbars, data Icons might cause a FC issue. Start slow with only one or two mods, then work your way up!
Again make the Nandroid first.
Good luck and post your results for others to gain knowledge from. Thanks
