i was planing to upgrade my phone first it was the Z1
but now we have Z1S and the Z1 compact and i really confused wich one to chose , anyone else here at the same situation ?!
and what you thing guys ? Z1 or Z1 compact or Z1 S ?!!
I just bought a Z1 which I'll be using in a few days, so I recommend that, the Z1 compact is the same as the Z1 but smaller with the same size screen as Xperia S, I prefer the Z1 as it would feel like a bigger phone and much newer, like an upgrade.
The Z1 compact may sorta not feel like an upgrade as it's roughly the same size as a XS, but that would be all down to what you want/like

You could wait a couple of weeks for the sony Sirius, that's what u plan to do. Slightly better than the z1 and android 4.4 apparently.

Well the Z1 has a full HD triluminous display, it's full HD so it's not really going to be much different on the Z1 compact.
The Z1 compact is newer so it's always going to have improvements on it, but really there's not much differences at all, it really depends on what you want more. The Z1 is £30 more than the Z1 compact from Sony directly so depending on if you want to spend that extra on a flagship phone then that's your choice

Z1 Compact and Z1S have smaller displays and bit smaller battery capacities, but they have been tested against Z1 and battery life is better on smaller screens. And yes you can wait until MWC2014 is over and go for Z2 then but if ur in a hurry then I would pick Z1 Compact.

That's because it is no longer waterproof. By by the way I would never call that device the Z2 Ultra. Everything about that device is subpar

I cant see why they cant waterproof the USB, they have with the headphone jack
8mp at 16:9 aspect ratio.... so slightly better than 5mp than we currently have. Still not as good as I was expecting. Camera is the key feature of any smartphone. But like its been said, the T series of xperia devices is not the Z series... but i guess we can assume we'll get the same in a Z2 Ultra... just with a better build.
only use the stock camera app if you're on manual mode. that way, you'll get the best out of the device. if you plan on using superior auto, why not instead install 3rd party app such as camera-FV? works like a charm for me

the question is GIonee is the current slimmest phone in the market with 5.5 MM , how slim can this go ?

This is their mid-range phone. It is not meant to be a competitor to their Z2. The Z2 is still their flagship phone.

T3 seems like a high mid end devices. While C is a low end big screen device.

Nope,T3 won't be the successor of the SP because SP has the illumination bar,the successor of Xperia S is SP
So till now,no any successor of SP yet...
XDA Developer didn't make a dedicated forum for T2 Ultra yet.

Is it ok to use a tempered glass for Xperia Z5 Premium back side???
My father's Z5 compact got a break line in the back so I guess it is useful. My Z5 Premium uses a case so it is no necessary

You can get ones for the back, I've had many as my handset seems to take damage a lot. Safer than breaking the back panel! Often, you can get a "Front" and "Back" pair on popular sites like eBay .
