[THEME] Blacked Out TWRP OP5/OP5T - OnePlus 5 Themes, Apps, and Mods

UPDATE [20180418]

Regarding a red message popping up: Source --> here

Just FYI, I flashed your latest build (twrp-3.2.1-0-20180414-codeworkx-cheeseburger.img) and was getting Failed to mount /vendor invalid argument. It gave it just loading into recovery, and when wiping /system.

I am by no means a dev or otherwise code-savvy but I guess it could be because the standard TWRP doesn't expect a "vendor" partition to be present, since it is hidden in the stock "non-treble" configuration?
So I believe the code needs to be updated to look for a "vendor" partition (again, just taking guesses here).

In this thread I will be uploading upcoming updates from the official TWRP recovery for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, with an inbuilt blackedout theme, which most of us OnePlus amoled addicts do enjoy. Also a few alternative versions might get themed and uploaded.
There's not one single modification or responsability regarding any recovery functionality, at all.
The only related thing to this thread is theming, and that is all about.

Any chance of doing it for the unofficial version also as that has otg support while the official doesn't?

I will provide an universal flashable zip so that anyone can use this theme in any recovery version or device.
But as I said, having it already implemented in the recovery img file is better, it also displays the first splash image already themed, whereas if you use an overlay it will not happen and will show the stock blue-grey one. After that the main menu will show themed.
By the way, there's going to be a small but nice update. OnePlus logos added to it so it gives a nice touch.

Just downloaded looks great . Possible to have a red op logo.

Many people were asking for an OP red logo, and although no colours were intended to be added, I liked the idea.
1st type:
2nd type, red logo:

Thanks for incorporating the request for the red logo, Nicely done

Ty Sir.

Great work

@Morphine1 Thanks for the blacked out versions! They look damn good! If possible, could you also create a blacked out version with red logo (and hopefully maintain it!) of the MultiROM version of TWRP from this link?

When I enter my password, I do not see a control panel.
So I just had to load this normal design :crying:.

I assume you're talking about overlay on a different recovery model.
That doesn't sound related to theming but recovery issue.

Thank you very nice. Flashed the Universal Black Red. Looking Good.

I came up with a new idea and although it's not recovery related but it is still theming related - which is theming the user icon avatar in the quicksettings panel.
It's just about running phonebook app and setting up your personal picture using the provided image logos.
Either if you're using white or black background qs panel, it looks nice with the oneplus logo embedded as if it was part of it all.

If you are using TWRP Recovery, installation of the themes couldn't be easier.
On your SDcard storage you will have a file named TWRP.
Open it and create a folder inside called theme
Copy the zip file into the theme folder and rename it ui.zip
Thats it. Reboot into recovery to see the installed theme.

Very Very nice, I like it quite a lot. Just installed the recovery when i saw your themes. I would love to have that TWRP Blue theme top middle!!
Could you perhaps make something green like that if its not too much trouble? Still trying to figure out this whole theme thing haha
Edit : Nevermind I have figured out how to do it hehe. I am not quite sure how the XML positions for the blocks and that works but I am sure I can figure it out without too much trouble.
Made myself a very nice green theme quick to test, by using paint and Gimp nogal (Im a photoshop person) so Ill go make HD images tonight and then its ON!!! muahahah
Good work prof! Just subscribed to this topic.
Looking forward to future releases! :good:

with version 2.3.0.0 recovery
the themes are not working correct
example:
when i try to make a backup
and i enter a custom name ,then not all functions are working on the keyboard
maybe the recovery functions layout is a little bit different then the 2.2.2.0
without a theme it is working correct
try to make a backup with a theme some keys are not working if you enter a custom name
hope you fix this

Thanks Seb.
I'm in the process of updating the files.
I missed some resizing code from the keyboard but its working ok for me now.
From what I can see, not every character is useable in renaming the backup file.
It only allows you to select characters that wont render the backup useless....... ie... you cant add a space to the file name but you can underscore instead.
Have a test and let me know what you think.

15/10/12 - Modified Advanced Power Menu including easy theming zip (for 3.09 & 3.14)
This mod is based of Jotha's Advanced Power Menu for JB - all credit goes to him for the original mod, and thanks for allowing me to post this variant :highfive:

I have only tested this on maXimus 4.1, however as it is based of Jotha's mod it should work on any 3.09 based JB Sense ROMs. The icons used are my own redShift icons recoloured to match the new blue color HTC are using.
So I have added some small tweaks and additions to the original code to do the following:
Relocated resources for all icons to framework-res for easier theming (it was using some in com.htc.resources)
Added new strings for the Recovery and Bootloader descriptors (rather than all showing 'Shut down phone')
Added new resource so the Airplane Mode icon changes depending on state (On/Off)
Removed the blue indicator bar from the ringer state section and added new resources to allow seperate On/Off icons for each ringer state (Normal/Silent/Vibrate)
I'm pretty sure I also added a background colour code so it uses the near-white code HTC use for the Settings menu background.
THEMING
16/10 It has been confirmed that there is an issue flashing the themes on the newer 3.14 based so for now please DO NOT FLASH THEMES IF YOU ARE ON A 3.14 ROM
The APM mod itself works fine on 3.14, so there must be an issue with the zipaligning part of the theme process that 3.14 doesn't like - weird why it works fine on 3.09 but not 3.14! Anyone got any ideas?
All of the png resources are now located in framework-res/res/drawable-xhdpi. The png names are as follows:
apm_normal_mode_on.png
apm_normal_mode_off.png
apm_vibrate_mode_on.png
apm_vibrate_mode_off.png
apm_silent_mode_on.png
apm_silent_mode_off.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_airplane_mode_on.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_airplane_mode_off.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_bootloader.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_mobile_network_on.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_mobile_network_off.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_power_off_qb.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_recovery.png
zzzz_common_icon_lock_restart_qb.png
However to make life much more simple I have also attached a zip which will allow you to use the Villain theming system to easily replace the pngs which the APM uses for the icons. All you need to do is create your 96x96 icons, drop them into vrtheme/system/framework/framework-res/res/drawable-xhdpi in the APM_Theme zip and flash it through CWM as normal. Reboot and hey presto, themed APM
To get things started I have created an AOSP-ish theme which you can download below.
Please feel free to post screenshots and theming zips for any themes you create!

[THEME] TWRP Holo Theme - Light / Dark (Updated 07.08.13) (Discontinued)

This is the port of the original theme by thecoby.
So all credit goes to him for this awesome theme.
I've also used some strings from Linda's work. (e.g. partition selector, since partition table is slightly different from One X)
Currently this port is a bit far from perfect and there's plenty of room for improvement. That's why I'm looking forward to some feedback.

I can make separate version for AM/PM time, but the time line will jump one position left or right depending on current time (e.g. 6am\pm will be a little bit to the left and 11am to the right). It's caused by alignment to the left. TWRP does not supports right alignment. Also, this theme is made for 24h clock by it's original author.
I was wondering if you would be able to change the splash screen on TWRP. I know you could on older versions. I found this on XDA but cant seem to find the thread. What do you think? Thanks!
If you're referring to the "TWRP slide up curtain", I'm afraid it's not possible. TeamWin made this bit unchangeable to preserve some kind of branding. See http://www.teamw.in/twrp2-theme-guide for more information...

Like on every thing you flash you should do a backup of your rom before! So if you done that just go in recovery and restore.
If you didn't then you can "dirty" flash the rom again!
Cheers

quick question
what does this mean
Parts of Setup Wizard are unreadable, please flash after you've gone through initial setup
What is the initial setup, and how to flash? Supposedly just the usual flash like flashing a kernel should do just fine right? Right from my recovery (2.6.3.3)
Sry, never flashed it manually before, always thru venomhub lol

Just install like an normal theme/mod
Download place on internal SD
Reboot to recovery
Install the zip file
It'll ask you if you want themed contact pictures or not pick which you want
Let it install then it'll ask you to reboot then, Enjoy the theme

Custom Boot Logo's

Sometimes I tend to be a flashaholic, and a little OCD with themes so I made these Flashable .ZIP's to put an ease to those key detail's and most importantly to share with you guys!
Reboot to Recovery (TWRP; Assuming you have it)
Press Install And Select Your Poison (Logo.zip) From It's download directory
Reboot And Watch Your Robin Boot Up In Style!

A Big Thanks goes to @GokulNC for Creating the Robin Splash-Screen Maker which you can find here along with the stock logo: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nextbit-robin/general/guide-how-to-create-boot-logo-splash-t3513224
Note: The pixel logo transition's seamlessly with it's matching boot animation.

In the OP there's a link to @GokulNC robin logo tool which has it posted in the attachments.
Little request here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/go...ps/theme-google-pixel-boot-logo-boot-t3556241
Both screens are 1080p, so you'd only have to ask him for the image resources. Gotta love that seamless transition between splash and bootanimation.

Image recourses for just the pixel boot logo? White version correct? The pixel boot animation is listed everywhere along with that splash sceeen. I'll get on that rn
Edit: Found the images elsewhere because they weren't 1080x1920 in the post you mentioned and resizing those messed it up (even the ones I found weren't exactly correct)..
I got it as good as I can get it without disrupting the seamless transition between P-Logo and P-Boot Animation. Enjoy :good:

No problem! Out of curiosity, do you plan on another ROM anytime soon? Xenon HD has always been a favorite since the moto G falcon days for me. It's AOSP/LOS based but rock stable and fast like AOSIP.. Can't imagine what it would be like with the new vendor blobs like the AOSIP ROM you built has. Give it a look if you ever have free time man!

Could you do an AOSPA One? I just jumped onto the Paranoid Android Banwagon and wanted to have a matching boot screen
It should look like the end screen of the boot animation (the part where it spells out AOSPA in that familiar android green color)
thanks

Never mind, I found it heh forgot you were the OP.
Anybody have any requests? Going to be redoing a majority of these logos soon because the rom logos are too small imho. Any additions will be added then with the logo fixes.
