Sharing not working - Xiaomi Mi 6 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I just bought a mi6 and I have a serious problem.
The "sharing" option is not working.
I click on share, pick the desired app and nothing happens. I've seen this issue on my old redmi note 3 also, but since I didn't use miui on it I never got to solve it.
Also I didn't find anything on Google.
Do you know how to fix it?
Solution: run in background permissions were disabled.

Redmi Note 5 AI GPS issue.

Today I bought a Redmi note 5 AI.
Though in CIT menu there is some gps reading, but I can't use gps on google maps or uber etc,
I accepted gps permission for all of them.
Is my phone's gps damaged or software issue?
Thanks.

This is a well known issue with Redmi Note 5/Pro and other Xiaomi phones. They had previously stated that the issue will be sorted in the 9.6.3 Global update. However, the problem still persists. It is not a problem with the phone's GPS chip. It has to do with the poor software configuration done by MIUI. It is a problem with the default A-GPS settings. I don't think they care if it works or not.
GPS reception is hardware. Hardware can easily be tested with several free apps on the playstore, no guessing needed. Download GPS status or so and stand outside for a minute. Post back with a screenshot of the sat reception.

Mifit and GPS problem on Redmi Note 8 Pro

Hi.
I sold redmi note 7 and I bough Redmi Note 8 Pro. I use mifit for mi band 4. I am often running so I turn on mifit and start training. When I finish I am usually surprised by maps in mifit. They show strange things like I was walking in triangles several times while I was just walking on a straight way. It was fine on redmi note 7
Screenshot in Attach Files.
Tried everything. That problem shows up at other phone. Look this:

Google maps work fine but haylou sport has the same problem.
Any solutions?

miui 12.5.1 - Revolut app not working after update

Just updated my Redmi Note 8 Pro this morning
went to look at Revolut account via app
double tapped on app - appeared very quickly on screen then disappeared
it shows up as 'active' but as soon as I tried to use it it disappeared again
anybody else had this problem - and any solution ?
I have the exact same issue with the exact same phone model. I updated it today and it's been giving me issues with Revolut ever since. Rebooting won't work.
Absolutely ridiculous how each update seems to bring bigger issues than fixes... If anyone knows any possible solution it would be greatly appreciated, it's terrible being locked out of my bank app due to an irreversible update

In the end I reinstalled the app - and it worked
Same issue with update 12.5.2 on Redmi Note 8 Pro.
I had to reinstall Revolut in order to make it work.
I updated to 12.5.2 and same issue - but I had to factory reset the phone anyway as it was running so hot - now Revolut works BUT the battery drain is huge

I added my mistake the final "e", Revolut is the correct name. Thanks!
I have same problem after installed new 12.5 MIUI.
Solution:
On PC download extension ‘APK Downloader’ and install it in Chrome, Fox…
On PC go for google play store and search for Revoult, then download APK by new extension.
Copy revoult.apk to your phone (//download).
Use Files Menager in your phone, use APK and install it.
Done, Google Play store still showing red incompatibility message, but it works.
Good luck!

Question Wi-Fi Problem

Hello, Everyone.
I'm a Xiaomi Redmi 9T owner, and since I got that phone, I've been having some problems with it. The worst problem I've got is with the Wi-Fi. After installing some Google security updates, the signal has gotten worse and in order to use Wi-Fi without problems, I have to sit near the router, which is not practical at all. I'd like to know if anyone had faced this problem before, and how to fix it. I've been wandering if installing a custom ROM would fix this problem and/or remove any ads on the phone, which is an annoying feature on Xiaomi phones. I'm new to this, and I've never installed a custom ROM on any my phones before. I've searched open-source operating systems on the internet and I've been wandering if I could install them on my Redmi 9t. Thanks.

Question Always on Display?

Apparently, weirdly this phone comes with no always on display OOTB.
Some Xiaomi phones are like that.
This is a serious con for me. I ordered it before knowing this, but it's not big enough an issue to cancel or pay 100€ more for Pro.
Is there a way to somehow enable this?
Does Xiaomi EU have this usually on phones that don't have it in stock MIUI?
I don't have this device but according to this link, there is.
Xiaomi Eu rom adds 'always' option.

At Redmi Note 10 pro there was the same problem. But it was fixable by downgrading the com.miui.aod App. I have already tried over 10 different versions, but without success.
You mean you have tried 10 different versions of that app on this phone?
Have you tried disabling miui optimizations in the developer settings?
Apparently this also worked on some xiaomi devices.
People say doing that causes bugs but I had it disabled for the last 4 years and have not noticed anything except slow (but still working) Gmail attachments (yes, it's weird but those are connected, somehow).
