Marshmallow to Nougat! - Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 (2017) Questions & Answe

I've a Galaxy A7 2017, and I have the warranty. So if i do an upgrade to 7.0 and then (if i've a problem) will I be able to downgrade to 6.0 in case I've to take my phone to the warranty?
Thanks

Warranty will be fine. But just keep in mind that some firmwares flashed by odin will update the bootloader and you can.t go back to 6.0.1

Once you flash a firmware with ,, .... U2....,, then the bootloader is updated, and you can.t go back to U1

And what CSC code ?
But most likely u will get Knox if u update OTA Almost all countries got Knox bootloader firmwares by now
U can avoid it by flashing an modified firmware and removing Knox bootloader a small guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549357
CSC is AFR
Thanks I've not installed it.

Downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2

Hey folks, just wanted to know is there a way to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2?
I don't care about triggering the knox counter whatsoever.
Is it possible by rooting maybe?
Thanks.

hi there!
is it posible to perform this downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 in a i9190 device? Because I think the link to the solution is for the i9195 model only.
No its not. You will brick your device.
ok. So I'll have to wait until samsung releases 4.4.2 for my device and that would be in .......3....2....1........3/4..............1/2......................

I don't know man. Pls check the Root/Downgrade thread.
Follow the method suggested in this thread. This works perfectly. And this method is a complete reset of your all device partitions so make sure to backup all your data.

Why in the world would you even flash branded software, what's the reason to do that? What you can do is flash unbranded software with CSC of your choice. You won't be able to downgrade, ever.
