Question and Answers
Q. What works?
A. Almost everything, nothing removed.
Q. Wifi Calling ?
A. Yes, wifi calling works. It is based on the T-Mobile firmware.
Q. It is based on N910T3, will it work on N910T or N910W8?
A. Yes, this will work on N910T3, N910T and N910W8 without any issues.
Q. Which kernel works with this ROM?
A. Stock kernel is included and works without issues. I haven't tested any cusom kernels, but Beastmode/Xceed/Ram kernels should work without issues. Q. Is there a way to remove the root from this ROM?
A. Yes, you can flash UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip file this URL.. Don't forget to install the Stock Kernel after unroot or you will boot loop.
Q. How do I install Xposed Framework?
A. Download and install the Xposed framework from here don't forget to visit this thread and thanks wanam
You would also need XposedInstaller_3.1.1.apk

I think it won't , as you don't have a MM bootloader.

Will try today. Thanks.
Is your phone alive @pvsgh ?

Got a warning about "failed to mount platform/msm_sdcc device or resource busy. But flashed fine and seems to work fine.
Using deodex debloated.

I haven't tested these, but wanted to create this last ROM before I move to a different phone. Using LG stylo 2 plus as temporary phone for now.

The warning shows when flashing rom zip, maybe something wrong in the updater script, but works fine, so not sure if it s important.
Too bad you cant fix your phone, even the freezer method didnt worked?

I dont understand... Sony opened sources for our device - why are you need sources for other device??!
Thread closed as there is no kernel source available. I have warned the OP a few days ago - without any success apparently
Here's a nice lecture about being a good developer. Rules are made to follow them and I fully expect it from you.

Did it installed successfully for you? Did you install any kernel after installing the ROM? If yes, you have to install the SuperSU again using recovery. You can extract it from rom zip file. I tested both version myself and had no issues.

Took a system and boot img dump from the phone, stock ODIN is not available yet.
Thanks, OP! Really appreciate you keeping the Note 4 active. I've always been a little confused with Odex vs DeOdex. With Odex, I can still run Xposed and freeze apps with Titanium, right? Any major benefit of going with DeOdex? Could you give an overview of what you removed in the debloated DeOdex rom?
Thanks again!

odex vs deodex:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224570
I have created Debloated version only for deodex version(which i use personally), all the t-mobile and google related apps are removed which can be downloaded from play store. If you are not comfortable installing the debloated version, I would suggest using the normal deodex version and debloat it as you like.

Also, I would not recommend further debloating the debloated ROM itself, needless to say you will definitely end up creating the screen rotation issue.

If you installed a custom kernel and want to go back to stock use the link provided in #3 to download and flash stock kernel, ,don't forget to install SuperSU zip again.

Awesome! Keep up the good work!
I am about to Odin BL and CP QE2. If I want to flash the stock QE2 kernel posted here, do I flash with TWRP or Odin after? Just want to be 100% sure so I don't mess up.
And I am sorry to hear your phone dying, pvsgh. I hope you find a replacement Note 4 and stay with this family. I appreciate the help you posted here for the tmo Note 4.

Everything provided in Downloads section is TWRP flashable, you don't need to flash the kernel separately if you are flashing the full ROM. Kernel is provided in case you flash some other kernel and want to come back to stock kernel.

I am running a custom rom that came with beastmode by default. The phone seems to freeze then reboot sometimes, I think during heavy uses. I figured it was a kernel issue, and wanted to see if stock would help. Since I just flashed QE2 BL and modem, I think I would need the QE2 kernel. Thanks.

Nice. Thanks.
Do you think the only difference between t and t3 rom is build.prop?
Can we use a t3 build.prop to make it look like a t3, so apps will recognize the phone as a t3.

Problem is other carriers are not releasing updates to Note 4 like T-mobile. I should have the latest modem and bootloader from Canadian carriers. I am not sure if T-mo's ones are any better or newer.

It may worth to try sometime later then
Worth to see if odin let you to flash, and then if it works. If hardwares are same then why worry. Worst case restore your backup if doesn't work, right?

What do you guys think about Magisk compared to SuperSU? Does it work on Note 4? Pros or Cons?
Magisk works great on this roms. It´s the only way to pass safetynet.
Im not sure about installing this rom. Since I was thinking in dirty flash from qg1, not sure how will affect the little changes since qg1 was a t3 and this one is based on t1. Dont want to do a clean install

If you are on my previous stock ROM, you should be fine installing this newer version, ROM will remove all files within /system partition to cleanup old ROM related files. Nothing is touched within /data partition.

Dirtry flash from previous stock-ish versions is fine.
Hi, yes, Im on your rom qg1. Will try dirty flash!
Baseband Version different
Sorry I'm not very experienced with this stuff.
I clean flashed this ROM (N910TUVU2EQI2_stock_deodex) and for some reason the baseband version is still N910T3UVS3EQB1
I have TWRP Recovery and flashed from there.
What am I doing wrong?
