hi all.
i have a lenovo vibe p1 pro p1c72 with p1a42 ROW rom just rooted, i had an issue about 1 year ago with the fingerprint and it's not working anymore, anyone know something to do? i read that maybe a complete flash of the rom could work but i wish to know if there's a way to flash only the synaptics fingerprint drivers since sounds like a fail of that pre-installed app... i already cleared data and cache of synaptics fingerprint but nothing changed.

hmmm ok probably the full flash is the only way ^^ do you know if there's android 7.1.1 "ROW" custom rom for lenovo vibe p1 pro?

Hello, what is the procedure to update my M8?
Guys this isn't an update per se. It is open source kernel and drivers which (hopefully) will allow somebody to create a custom ROM from.
Anyone able to develop something like cm or if these kernel sources?? Have been waiting for this for ages. I'll start using my m2 8.0 again! Stupid emui 3!!!

I didnt flash anything, I accidentally wiped system partition, all I need is a stock rom to be flashed again
All I can find is firmware zip with dload and UPDATE.app inside.
-I can only boot into recovery...
-Stock Rom of 801L is ALL I need.

Its vibe k5 plus . I already checked the antenna and it was intact,just as good. then I reflashed the device , didn't make any difference though . I suppose it maybe a hardware issue

I recently bought a redmi note 5, waited 360 hours to unlock the bootloader, only to find out that, due to the presence of this "huaxing" screen panel, i am not able to install any aosp custom rom, because the screen goes completely black when booting up. Are devs working on this to fix it or is it better to sell the phone and buy another smartphone? I bought the redmi note 5 only to be able to install aosp roms and now that i can't, i have no reason to keep the phone unless this huaxing screen problem is fixed soon

Thanks brother... The method you mentioned above is totally amazinlng and it worked and fixed my device..I tried everything I know Falshed miui again and again flashed kernels,firmwares but you fixed the problem..You're a genius....Thank You very much..?

I just figured out when in pie firmware, hardware adaptive layer moved to vendor partition, that why build.prop string should call them from vendor, not from system anymore, anyway glad its work for u
