Roll back from Custom ROM - Huawei MediaPad M2

Hello
I have a M2 801L - I recently upgraded the Firmware to Marshmallow on EMUI 4.0 using a guide (I would have posted a link but not sure if allowed on this forum)
I used the Mediapad M2 [M2-801L] B205 file.
My M2 8.0 is now running Marshmallow 6.0 on EMUI 4.0
Questions:
1. Can anyone suggest a suitable or best Rooting method with a Nougat custom rom update?
2. If I Root and Update my M2 what is the possibility of rolling back to either the original Lollipop version or Official Marshmallow OS?
3. How easy is it to Root and Update it to Nougat?
4. How easy is it to rollback from a rooted Nougat F/W to original official stock lollipop or marshmallow?
Also, now when I go to Settings > Update > Menu >
I seem to be missing the option for Local Update.
Having said that, what are my options in rolling back now that I am missing the Local Update option?

If a stock Lollipop update was available (maybe in Poland, but I think that is the only place currently), then this might apply to you. It seems that you might be able to root the 5.0 ROM, but you would most definitely lose Bump and the ability to flash a custom recovery or ROM.
Any Lollipop ROM that is being floated around the forums already has a kernel that has been modified and rooted. It does not apply in those cases.
Can anyone confirm that it's working?:good:

[Q] Downgrade to Jellybean after official update

About a month or two when the official update for the Ascend P6 became available, I installed it and upgraded my phone to Android 4.4.2 (from 4.2) and Emui to 2.3 (from 1.x). Anyway, I've been having issues with that as it started to overheat and work slow, so I decided to revert back to the original state. (Unless there are fixes for the overheating in your experience?)
How do I do that? I found a topic here about reverting to Android 4.2, but I'm not sure which version my phone used to have... Anyway, here's my phone information if someone could shed some light:
Huawei P6-U06
Android 4.4.2
Emotion UI 2.3
Baseband version IMC1202_PENTA
Kernel version 3.0.8-00800-g4e7741b
Build number P6-U06V100R001C150B536
Custom version CUSTHRVC150D536
Thanks in advance.

downgradeing to kitkat

I am using official 5.1.1
How can I downgrade to kitkat
And is it safe if I flashed official 5.1.1 for another regon over my current Rom?
Flash using ODIN with your region & device specific official kitkat rom, find it on sammobile/ xda thread. Only tried india 5.0, OTA works to 5.1.1 so far (indonesian P601). I'm currently reverting to Hydronium (4.4.2), because fixed pen window in lollypop, FC on old games & apps, & battery drain.

Should I upgrade to Official 6.0 first or just flash 6.0 AOSP CustomROM?

Hi, I'm new in here
This is my first thread
I'm confused what should I do before upgrading to Marshmallow firmware?
I mean we already have 6.0 Custom ROMs (tried marshmallow RR and then going back to CM 12.1)
and now there's official marshmallow firmware, then there's PAC-ROM that have updated their blobs (what is that) and updated MM bootloader. They said I need to have marshmallow bootloader
so what should I do to have marshmallow bootloader? what is the benefit/difference for now by having MM Bootloader on customROMs than last build?
sorry if you got confused too
I'm a big cm13 user. But right now I'm on mm stock. I think asus got it right with this upgrade. If I were you I'd go stock mm until the devs get cm14 out.
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk
I'd go for stock MM

Is there a way to get Android 7.1.1 Nougat on Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 SM-G165N?

I brought this Koran flip andriod phone a few months back on ebay & the latest update it has atm is Android 6.0.1
I was wondering if anyone has any success flashing Andriod Nougat on it since G1650 has Nougat firmware for it? (China version I think)
I tried flashing the lastest G1650 firmware to my G6165N via Odin & no luck so far. Just throws an error about can't read firmware if I recall.
