FLASHING STEPS
IMPORTANT NOTE: BEFORE FLASHING NETHUNTER OVERLAY ROM, RESSURECTION REMIX ROM SHOULD BE FLASHED FIRST !!!
* Reboot to Recovery and flash the downloaded zip.

1. Open NetHunter App and grant all the permissions it asks.
2. Open NetHunter Terminal and grant all the permissions it asks.
3. Set up Hacker Keyboard.
4. Configure Kali Services, such as SSH.

There is a little more to it than that actually. It's an overlay that can be used on any ROM, but currently the only ROM that supports the full functionality is RR as I have merged the SEPolicy commits needed in my device source, as well as the kernel I ship with RR has the patch as well. InvictaOS also has the kernel patched, but I'm not sure if he ever merged the SEPolicy commits into his device source.
Give the guy some credit, otherwise move on and say nothing.

Which brings me to my question - You say that SuperSu is recommended, but I am using Magisk (RR for Athene comes pre-rooted using it). I opened the zip file and found a SuperSu folder. If I flash Kali Nethunter, will it cause problems or it can be used with Magisk as well?

You are welcome,definitely give it a try. I don't know about it. But I am using magisk which comes pre-rooted with RR and I flash the superSu which is in kali- Nethunter. What I noticed is just the superuser app gets replaced with SuperSU instead of magisk. And everything works fine for me..

badchecksum error whenever I try to install chroot.

I also had the same problem @Dhanush-raj suggested me this

Can't try it anymore. I'm back to stock due to other reasons.
I thought about it in another way.
1. Install Kali Nethunter.

OK I will give a Kali nethunter build soon without SuperSu in it. So there won't be any problem for you. Then you can use magisk which come pre rooted with RR ROM.
And update me that everything is working..

Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates us more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking or ask the same question over and over again.
If you are the only one having a problem: boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.

Press BOTH volume keys + power key - it will vibrate very short. Wait until a notification appears that the bugreport is ready, send it to your mail and post it.
Alternatively go to dev options (press "build number" in "About phone" 7 times to activate it), activate the switch "Shortcut for bugreport", then go to Settings->Keys->Power key and activate it there as well. Long press power-key and then use the new menu item.

If you have a hard reboot (to the vendor boot logo, not the LineageOS boot logo), use adb or any other file explorer tool to pull a copy of "console-ramoops" after the reboot and provide that.

When you already had an unofficial (pre-official) build installed (or are about to upgrade from CM13 the first time), feel free to install the " experimental" build. As we have tightened security, this build is meant to preserve your data during migration. After you have booted it once, please install the next official nightly to complete the procedure (and get rid of the watermark). Please note that this might fail so always take a backup first!

It is possible to install LineageOS 14.1 over an existing installation of CM-13.0 by following those steps:

* Push zip(s) to device
* Reboot to recovery

What exactly do you mean with "network"? SIM 1 and 2 are working, with data. WiFi is also working like a charm.

You don't want to be running something that was randomly sitting on my download server earlier today. If your build date is before 3pm est then please download and install what is there now.
Earlier builds had problems.

Would be nice to have the expanded desktop version per app to in the next udate . Expanded desktop works fine but only if i turn it on for everything.
Cant choose it per app yet!

General LineageOS issue, not only on our device. (Have reported it)
Please note that requesting something for any update (especially the "next") is not required, we priorize our work items without that

Awesome. This is really a nice year ender announcement for our device. Don't have time to test though. But will definitely flash once the few bugs are fixed.

At this point all that is safe to assume is that it doesn't work and neither BadDaemon nor I have had a chance to investigate why.

Edit. Installed following the instructions from 1#post (ROM boot,setup. Then gapps and wipes) gapps working perfect. I dont go back to MM for now

Second Impression.
Rom is lightning fast, faster than nougat. You just have to install the right g-apps. The only time it lags is when first booting up, the boot animations seems to have a framedrop for about a minute and then you're good to go. Almost stable enough to use as a daily rom. The audio playback works fine, i'm using sony's music app port by Pexomod and unofffical open-gapps aroma. :good::laugh:

Maybe he has made a mistake on writing the thread. The ROM is 64bit by the way on linegaeOS website u will find only su zip for 14.1 . i rooted it with magisk 14 via twrp.

Flashing last build and russian language is showing incorrect in settings.

please excuse me if that's some kinda common newbie mistake, but i have copied both rom and gapps to my sd card and when i try to update from sd it writes the following:

same happened with ADB attempt

How To Make Sure Everything Will Work Smooth?
* Go to: Settings -> About phone and note down the Baseband version (eg: I9300IXXUBPF2)
* Now in your browser open https://samsung-firmware.org and search this baseband version in the keywords. It will show up your firmware in search results. Open it.
* There will be tab named 'Region' in the box (eg: XSG), click it. This will list all the firmware updates available for your region. See if you have the latest update available on your phone by verifying the Baseband version on your phone and the Modem/CP version of the firmware. If not download the latest update and update your stock rom by following the instructions given on the page. This is so that you will have the latest bootloader. Users have reported they had to flash the stock rom via odin 2-3 times to update the bootloader.
* Now lets flash twrp. Go to https://twrp.me/ and search for s3 neo in 'devices' tab. TWRP is same for i9300I and I9301I. Folow the instructions and install TWRP recovery on your device (odin method). Disable auto reboot in odin while flashing recovery and reboot to recovery manually after flashing recovery successfully (long press power button + vol up button). Go to twrp, grant the permissions and take a backup of your stock rom (system) and EFS partition.
Important: Always keep a backup of EFS safely.
Now you are all set to flash custom roms.

Use the rom, if you face performance issues, heating, reboots or stuff, do the kernel setup. But if you can, do it at the beginning.

Your choice. That was a suggestion to improve user experience.

Disabled screen hardware buttons bug was present after install without delete internal storage(caches and system was deleted before install (modell 9301 samsung cam))

I tried it, looks good but unfortunly reboots as like in carbon. Later i try it with the kernel settings.

I now set the kernel settings, looks gold at the Moment, but another problem. I've a widget called custom switches, when i reboot the phone the widget is deleted and i must set it again.

my phone is italian,(itv),but I installed the ksa firmware,maybe that's why everything works,no reboot,no lags,but I had to install the fix camera, because the ksa has sony sensors, I have samsung.

Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates us more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking or ask the same question over and over again.
If you are the only one having a problem: boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.

Press BOTH volume keys + power key - it will vibrate very short. Wait until a notification appears that the bugreport is ready, send it to your mail and post it.
Alternatively go to dev options (press "build number" in "About phone" 7 times to activate it), activate the switch "Shortcut for bugreport", then go to Settings->Keys->Power key and activate it there as well. Long press power-key and then use the new menu item.

If you have a hard reboot (to the vendor boot logo, not the LineageOS boot logo), use adb or any other file explorer tool to pull a copy of "console-ramoops" after the reboot and provide that.

On 28 the kiwi build status was failed on lineageOs build servers.

Sound play and music too low

I'm tasting this ROM
All is good
But a bug in sharing battery (when phone is off not showing animation and do not power on . just stay in charge screen , need force restart white 3 key)
Magisk his don't work on this ROM
Game player is good
Face unlock is OK
Front flash don't work
Calling spker low
Music SPK low
Soory for bad EN

magisk works. i used the regular magisk and it worked. if you meant Magisk Hide. you should to the props trick in android terminal.
other bugs are known bugs in exynos 7870 treble roms.

I suggest AOSP Extended mod Q
no developer has been working on updating and there is no project for this ROM in the Gsi developer area on xda. there are device-specific roms but there is no Android 10 GSI unofficial
