Thanks. Sound excellent. From what I learnt, the agold blah blah controls the recent and the trash can. I can resize the trash files to 1px by 1px, but the height of the overlay remains. Anyway, I'm a noob so i have no idea, let me know when you've got something. Thanks.

Can this work for the Verizon version VS985?
Im having the same Problem, I tried changing the Speaker volume levels with Root Explorer and now my phone will not boot from
the Verizon splash screen.
Any help would be great thanks.
This might be your only option... Without a proper build prop I believe the lg flash tool won't recognize the phone as any varient of the G3. Youre only choice might be to flash tot file thought fastboot itself. Only way to get to fastboot is as described in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=54270708
Make sure to read up on this though. I'm not familiar with how lg doesn't allow booting into fastboot easily.

pull your battery... wait 15 seconds.... put it back in.
hold power button and down key at the same time until you see the lg splash screen, then let go for a second, and immediately hold the same two back bezel keys until you see "factory reset"... your phone will work afterwords but will be back to square one... its a shame, but its got to be done if you don't have a custom recovery.
Its also Possible to make an update.zip with just the build.prop in it. Copy it to sdk/platform-tools and then use adb to sideload the zip to replace the build.prop and fix your misinformed tinkering... if youre on the stock recovery you would probably need a signature on the zip for it to flash, which is troublesome.
what model is your G3?
if usb debugging is not enabled and your pc is not authorized... you are buggered (excuse the pun)

to enter download mode do this:
--You must switch off the device to start the process.
--Then press and hold the “Volume Up” and connect the USB cable from phone to PC.
--Use the original USB cable. Because, other device’s cable may not be detected in the Computer. So, only we recommend it to use the original-- one that you got it when you bought the phone.
--Wait for the driver installation on PC.
--Then you will get the download mode screen in your phone.

You can find how to root here. FULL CREDITS GO TO Zionator as he wrote up the instructions.
Easy Guide to Root :
1. Go to Rooting Guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...6#post63637426
Download only the P605 modded boot IMG and then come back here. Move the tar to tablet. "In my opinion that guide is very confusing" This is much more simple...
2. Go to TWRP (download version 2.8.7.0) - https://dl.twrp.me/lt03wifiue/
Download the img.tar This file you keep on pc to flash via Odin.
3. Go to SuperSU v2.52 Beta - https://download.chainfire.eu/743/Su...erSU-v2.52.zip
Download the zip. Move the zip to tablet.
4. Reboot the tablet into download mode and open Odin on the PC then connect the tablet to PC. In Odin click AP tab and locate the TWRP and uncheck Auto-Reboot then hit start. When done hold the power button + vol up button "the vol button furthest from power button" + home button til you see red writing on top right hand corner. This can take a while so don't panic just wait.
5. When finished booting into TWRP pull Spen and click Install then find modded boot img "remember to switch between IMG & ZIP mode in the lower left hand corner" Now flash the boot img. Do not reboot just go back and switch back to ZIP mode and flash SuperSU when done reboot.
6. Wait for the boot to finish. You are now rooted.
I hope this makes it easy for you!!!
thank you for the guide buhohitr.
worked perfectly for me

Hey Guys Im Back! Thank you for the support and how it blew up. I have tested this on Android 10 UI 2.0 and it works better then ever!
Also installed lineage os : https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a10/development/rom-lineage-os-a10-a105f-t4078093
So i tried using afaneh92's tutorial which will be linked here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a10/how-to/magisk-root-galaxy-a10-series-t3963822
Which lead to me bootlooping or softbricking and my storage was reduced from 32 gb to 16Gb so i decided to work on my own method!
Credits go to afaneh92 for the Twrp!
BEFORE YOU START YOU SHOULD HAVE
1.Samsung Drivers installed
2.Odin Installed
3.7zip Installed
4.A data transfer cable
5.A Proper working brain
If you have all of those lets start!
A: Phone settings
1.Go in settings>about phone>software information>build number tap that 5 times until it says "You are a developer now" then you will have Developer options unlocked
2.Then go in developer functions and find OEM unlocking tick that on scroll down until you see Usb Debugging and tick that also Disable Auto Updates option
B: Download TWRP and 2 other important files
1.Dial *#1234# and it will show the AP and some others, focus on AP paste it on google and get the download for it
2.After downloaded move the AP to your download folder in your android device
3.You will get a magisk_patched.tar after its been offically converted
4.Get the twrp for a10
Download the twrp file here : https://mega.nz/#!OU1WhSDZ!vQz5K1wpqBhg0hCD59aziaHPxFlUsT_2WG8SgT8p6iY
5.After you got everything open the .tar archive and extract vbmeta.img, boot.img and you should already have recovery.img on your Desktop
6.Grab all the 3 .img files and archive them into a .tar using 7zip, Now continue to step C,
C :Unlocking The Bootloader and Getting Into Download Mode (THE PART WHERE YOU RESET YOUR PHONE)
1.Turn Off your phone
1.2.Put your data cable into your PC(dont connect your phone to it yet)
1.3.Hold Volume Up and Down then insert the cable into your phone
1.4.When you see a bluescreen let go
1.5.Hold vol up until you see another screen then let go for 1 second and hold vol up again
2.Your device will reset itself and reboot
2.1.After the device has booted in into the setup take the cable out after Turn off your phone
2.2.Hold Vol Up and Down again and connect the cable
2.3.Let go when a blue screen appears then press vol up until you are in download mode
D: Flashing TWRP
1.Open Odin
2.Press on AP then find Desktop.tar and press open
3.Press start and let it do its thing
4.After your Phone has rebooted you oficially have TWRP installed
5.If you want to know hoe to root go to step E
E: Installing Magisk
Since magisk is counted as the best rooting option rn i will be using it in this tutorial(Sorry supersu fans)
1.Install Magisk Manager
2.Press on Install (first one) then press install again and after that press Install Zip Only
3.Then go into Twrp by doing the steps below
3.1.Turn off your device
3.2.Hold vol up and power button untill you see TWRP logo
4.Press install
4.1.Find magisk-v20.4(20400).zip
4.2Swipe right on the bottom to flash it then press reboot system now.
5.Now you have TWRP,Root and Magisk Congratulations!
What happens if something goes wrong.
1.SV Error Device 1 library 0 - You installed the wrong firmware look for the right firmware. To check go in recovery mode and look at the A105XXXXXX and then look for a download. Remider AP->AP BL->BL CP->CP HOME_CSC->CSC
2.vbmeta.img error - you have the wrong vbmeta.img file. Redownload the original firmware and take out the right vbmeta.img next time you try flashing. Reminder AP->AP BL->BL CP->CP HOME_CSC->CSC
3.A blue screen telling you to use samsung switch emergency update. That wont work so just flash the original firmware and try flashing twrp again.
4.When i try to boot in it gets me into TWRP - Thats just because that your data is corrupted and to fix it while in TWRP mode press wipe then swipe after its done press Reboot To System. That should be a fix
5.My internal storage is just full of weird numbers and I can't download anything on it! Go in TWRP then wipe, press advanced wipe, click on internal storage and data, swipe. That should fix the error
6.Boootlooping or Bricked! Installed corrupted firmware or the recovery was f-ed up. Then install the right firmware and redo the steps!
If you have issues during the process send it in the comment ill try to respond as fast as i can!
i notice thread title says exynos only.. u do know they are all exynos including a102u and a102u1 right?
Oh. Alright thanks for telling me.
Press on app? I have nothing in odin saying that, do you mean ap?
Edit: guess not....i'm bricked, stuck on galaxy logo, device not recognized by pc, holoding power button wont force reboot, nothing lol.
Edit2: can force reboot holding volume down and power but instantly stuck on logo again, cannot power off or enter download, nothing...bricked. Followed this guide to the letter. I assumed when you said app in odin you meant ap since there is no app button. My bootloader unlocked then I went to flash in odin the tar i made with patched boot and vbmeta, along with recovery linked. I used matching firmware to what my A10 has also. Would not mind if i could get back into download mode, but that looks impossible now.
Edit3: Managed to get download mode but had to be so quick...hopefully I can reflash stock now.

I have a Samsung galaxy sm-a10. I've tried everything here, even combination files. The error I ALWAYS get is 'failed flashing ROM... OEM lock'
Of course I have unlocked OEM in developer options, but still I get this error in the bootloader.
Any ideas?

Hi fo you have scatter firmware for tcl 30 xe ?
Here I pulled this from:
TCL 30 XE 5G Firmware
"Before flashing, you need Create a full backup of the firmware.
The battery must be 100% charged.
1. Flashing your phone using CWM Recovery
2. Flashing the phone using TWRP Recovery
3. Flashing the phone using Fastboot Mobilexfiles.com
1. Phone flashing using CWM Recovery The rich functionality of CWM Recovery www.clockworkmod.com allows you to perform many manipulations with the device, including rolling the firmware. By default, stock Recovery is installed in the devices, which means that first you need to install the ClockWorkMod Recovery utility itself.
The general firmware process described below is for ZIP files. Instructions: - Download the firmware and place it on your phone's SD card.
Turn off your phone:
Depending on the phone press the desired combination of buttons on the phone body.
The set of buttons may vary. A universal option is to try pressing the following keys.
Press the Power + Volume up (or Volume Down) (+Home) buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
The phone will now boot into Recovery mode.
Use the volume buttons to navigate the menu and press the Power button to make a selection.
Highlight 'Wipe data / factory reset' and press the Power button.
Select 'Yes
delete all user data' from the menu.
Select 'Wipe cashe partition' from the menu.
Select 'Yes - Wipe cache' from the menu.
Select 'advanced' from the menu.
Select 'Wipe Dalvik Cache' from the menu.
Select 'Yes
Wipe Dalvik Cache' from the menu. Go back, press 'Go Back'.
Select 'mounts and storage' from the menu.
Highlight 'format / system' and press the Power button.
Select 'Yes
Format' from the menu. Go back, press 'Go Back'.
Highlight 'install zip from sdcard' .
Highlight 'choose zip from sdcard' .
Select 'Yes -
Install your firmware name' from the menu.
Use the volume buttons to highlight 'Reboot system now.
2. Flashing the phone using TWRP Recovery For those who prefer working with the utility in the form of TWRP Recovery, the following instructions for the step-by-step installation of the update in the form of a ZIP archive are offered:
Upload the file with the firmware image to the SD card of your phone.
Go to TWRP recovery. This is done in the same way as with CWM.
Perform a factory reset. When the phone has finished cleaning, return to the original menu by pressing the 'Back' key.
In the main menu, select 'Install' and find the previously downloaded firmware image.
Click on it by dragging the slider to the side.
The process of flashing the phone will take 2-3 minutes.
After the completion of the firmware operation, you must click on the 'Reboot System' item, and reboot the device.
3. Flashing the phone using Fastboot
A universal tool for flashing Android smartphones using a PC is the Fastboot utility.
It is part of the SDK Platform Tools, which means it is suitable for a large number of devices.
Before starting the firmware, you need to get access to the system kernel.
Very often, many manufacturers block this system parameter, not wanting users to change the system files of their firmware images with their own hands.
To do this, you need to unblock Bootloader.
To do this, you need to study the detailed instructions for configuring and managing the command line.
Before starting the firmware using a computer, do not forget to enable USB debugging of the device in the engineering settings of the device.
Copy the archive with the firmware image to the folder with 'ADB'
Put your smartphone into fastboot mode and write the prompt in the command line: fastbooflash zip filename.zip.
Wait for the end of the installation and reboot the device.
TCL 30 XE 5G Firmware
None of this is mine.
every time i use any developer software or platforms for files or data .. i will share over the new few days. also i will provide screen shots and links.
I plan to use 3c Tool Box and pull a boot.img file as well. coming soon.
I can copy paste any root file in seconds and not even need ADB for that...makes an archive

How To Guide Install GSI Image to A54 5G (Compatible with all devices with OEM Unlock toggle)

First of all, download the firmware for your device. I use Samsung firmware downloader (https://github.com/zacharee/SamloaderKotlin)
In the model section, put your device model (If you don't know it, go to settings, about phone and below your model name, there should appear a code next to "Model number" Example: A546B)
In the CSC section, put your CSC. (If you don't know it go to settings, about phone, Software information and search for Service Provider SW Ver. You may find 3 or more 3 letter codes in it, the one we care about is the first one. For example, for me it's "EUX/EUX/-/EUX")
Now, click on "Check for updates" and then "Download". It will take a while, so leave it for 5-10 minutes depending on your internet speed.
Now, we will need to unlock the bootloader. If this is your main phone, backup data if you really want to custom ROM it, because it will erase all data. First of all, we will need to shutdown the device. Now, when it is fully off, we will press both VOL + and VOL - keys and connect a cable from the phone to our PC. Now, you should see a light blue screen with a bunch of text. Now we need to hold VOL+ key for 5 or more seconds, and press the vol+ key when the text changes.
Going through the setup is not necessary, as we will need to factory reset later on.
Now, check the folder where you told the program to store the firmware in and extract the folder. In it, you will see 5 files that end in .tar.md5 (CSC, HOME_CSC, CP, BL and AP), the one we care about is AP. Open it with winrar and extract the "recovery.img.lz4" file. Now, install lz4 (https://github.com/lz4/lz4/releases).
You can add the folder to path, but it's optional. Now, open CMD/Powershell and go to the directory your "recovery.img.lz4" is stored. Now run this command: "lz4 recovery.img.lz4 recovery.img". After that, you should get the recovery.img in the same folder.
For this step, we will need a github account, so go to github.com and create an account. Now go to https://github.com/Johx22/Patch-Recovery and fork the repository (the button is at the top right). Now we should be in our fork. Click on the "Actions" button below the repository name and click "RECOVERY". Now, we will upload our image to transfer.sh and get the link it gives us. Click on run workflow, and put the link transfer.sh gave us. Wait a minute or so, and we should get a file named "Patched-Recovery". Download it. Now, extract the file and we should get "fastbootd-recovery.tar".
Download odin https://odindownload.com/SamsungOdin/ and open it.
Now we will get the phone on the same mode as before (the blue screen), and instead of holding the VOL+ key now, we will press it once. Now connect your phone to your pc and click the "AP" button on odin. Select the file we got (fastbootd-recovery.tar) and click "Start".
Now, this is very important, when the bar finishes going to the end, and the square above says "RESET", we will need to hold the power key+VOL+ key. If we don't, the recovery will the rewritten and we will need to flash it again.
Now we should be in recovery mode.
Now, there should be a new option: "Enter fastboot mode"/"Enter fastbootd". use volume keys to move and when you are on "Enter fastboot mode", click power key.
Now, download platform-tools, i already provided them in the thread. Unzip the file and open CMD in platform-tools and now it's time to download a GSI image.
There's many GSI's but pixel experience is my favourite. As of now, the latest working GSI of pixel experience on samsung devices is this one: https://github.com/ponces/treble_bu...Plus_arm64-ab-13.0-20230421-UNOFFICIAL.img.xz.
Uncompress it and move the image to platform-tools. Now, we run this command on CMD: fastboot flash PixelExperience_arm64-ab-13.0-20230104-UNOFFICIAL.img, and wait till it completes.
Now click "Enter recovery mode" and click Wipe Data/Factory reset and after it completes, restart to system. You should see a google logo now.
Enjoy!
are you running a gsi now? do you mind telling me if you saw any audio degradation when using gsi on your a54?
Updated latest compatible PE GSI build
I'm still getting error during building patched recovery, do you mind upload your patched recovery?
Thanks a lot!
