Advantages and dissadvantages of using the new sources instead of the old MM sources.
Advantages:
Camera quality is the same as on Stock based roms.
Performance is better.
Disadvantages:
No Radio

Is this kernel included in the rom?

no. i wouldn't make a separate thread instead if it was

Sry if the question is stupid, but which kernel is included in your Rom and why you make two different Kernels? Which one do you use?

I don't make two.
In freedom it's stock LG kernel with only fixes.
The other one is with big cores disabled for those with motherboard problem.
This one is the only one I make.

So if i don't have motherboard Problems i shouldn't flash this Kernel?!

Of course ! And install kernel adiutor and see what's there !
And don't forget to test blu_active governor and tell me how fast stable and smooth is and the cpu is always resting too

Finally we have a good kernel for G4 N (even without official H815 N) very good work. We have tested and it works very good, and now we have KCAL working to control screen burn!
Thanks @kessaras

Thanks @kessaras for as always great work awesome that even 2 years later with phone has some life in it
Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk

hope that pur h811 get one as well.
people also thank ASTRAKO for this kernel.

How should i install this Kernel. As System, Boot or Recovery?

Hello @kessaras thanks for this!!...
I have a question... I understand that setting our cpu from 8 cores to 6 should improve stability and battery life, but how is that having less cores improves performance?.... And sorry to ask again, but still is not clear for me... This kernel is for 815H users with "good" motherboard right?

Fabulous job ... but after flashing it says that my SD Card is corrupted and want's me to reformat it. Looking at the logs it has problems mounting the volume. Flashing the stock N kernel back fixes the problem.
Here's the log:

Hi,
Lg G4 has only 6 cores. So ... Having 8 cores active just meant that some tasks went to the two cores we don't have You had no performance gain in this maybe it didn't work at all at first.

Kernel up and running.
Thank you for your roms and this custom kernel.

So the title says it all,
So far I am experiencing, a crazy loud sound glitch that sounds like a vibrator in a plastic bowl, wonderful image right? xD
Also there is clearly the sound of seeming touch events happening at random intervals so trying to trace it with a live logcat would
be completely insane, but well, :silly:
i think it's somehwere in this

Mine used to sound like that until I disabled the """"amazing"""" app Smart Connect that seems to be the root of evil for everything.

I don;t know this is my first sony device. What is more odd to me is the random touch event sounds, and whether or not they are just random or if actual commands are being issued. If that's the case i wonder if it's like that tap-jacking thing that supersu has a prevention feature for.
Still trying to root this thing btw,

Resurrection ROM Skype speakerphone issue

EDIT: this also happens on "Unofficial CM13" build, can't edit the title to reflect this.
Hi, sorry, I can't post in the Resurrection ROM's thread because I don't have enough posts.
Tried on latest stable and unstable Resurrection ROMs (0714), and skype mic does not work when in speakerphone mode. Here are the logs during the switch:
I'm not sure if this is the real reason, but according to the logs, it looks like skype is trying to access "speaker-mic" input, which in turn tries to access ACDB device id 11, which does not exist in audio_platform_info.xml file.

So far I haven't had any issues. Thanks

it doesn't have CMTE, right?
Same here no issues found, UI is smooth. Amazing for an Alpha build
Stable so far I've found no problems.
Although if possible could you add the ability to change notification colour (by RGB), I like to dim the light as much as possible as it's distracting when it's bright.
The cellular signal icon changes when you use/enable mobile data, it seems like the icon from JB/KK.
build-1.0 is up!
Thank you for this rom works like a charm. Incredible performance with foxy kernel

I'm guessing there's been no update as Slim6 has had no further updates (to my knowledge) and this port is already remarkably stable.
Just a guess. Though I thought he would update it with the latest kernel version.
build-1.2 is up!
I found a bug with the setup of the SD card. After doing a clean installation, the only mode that works is the "portable mode", because while setting the SD card to be adoptable storage, the device reboots after 40% of the formating process. The same issue occurs with the "mixed mode" usage of the SD card.
Logcat of the initial setup procedure:

As you can see, the SD card is still being processed and the file system check was fine, too. The device still instantly reboots here w/o any further explainations. To ensure, that the SD card is not broken, I will have a try with another one later, because of the "secure discard" function not being available at the beginning. Did anybody else experience this issue? Which file systems do you use for the "/cache", "/data" partitions? Is it worth it using the F2FS file system everywhere here?

Thanks for the new release :good:
I still cannot use the SD card as adoptable storage. I tested another SD card, went back to 12.1 and tried every ROM you provide here. Temasek's build used to be the only one that worked for me so far, so I used an official CM 13 release to get internal storage working. As soon as I change back to Slim ROM 1.3, it keeps crashing and rebooting all the time. There is not way to get this work
Flashing SuperSU somehow breaks the boot.img as well since the device keeps rebooting until you take out the battery. I'm really confused about these issues since this device is the one for every day usage. I'd like to use the Slim ROM again someday, so please fix these issues
build-1.5 is up!
@beroid
Could you PLEASE port version 1.6 with the android security update? Many thanks for your work !!

WiFi doesn't work in Lineage OS

Hi,
Recently, I have updated my Xperia to the last version of official Lineage OS (20170323) and I have installe the Hana kernel on the device.
I got bootloop but I wiped the Cache and System partition and the device started without problems; but the wifi doesn't work.
Can someone help me?
I have attached the logcat info when I try to create an WiFi AP:

Lineage 15.1 no WiFi - need some help with building

Hello.
I built Lineage 15.1 for Swift and it works well, no lag or whatsoever. The only thing that does not work is WiFi.
According to a commit (change 218676; I cannot post the full url because of xda-restrictions) something is wrong with the latest qmi/radio stack which breaks bluetooth and wifi.
I applied that commit before building LOS15.1 but WiFi is still not working. Also the hash-sums this commit changes are different to the ones I have in my tree.
Any idea how to get wifi to work? I would be happy about some ideas on how to fix it.
Thanks
Tepa
