Due to the fact in the OP it says your phone has to be rooted before you can use this ROM, no. Most you should normally charge to is 80%.

The same charging bug still is present. I just through this up obviously I can't test this rom on your phone as I have Verizon model. I tested it on my phone but I used US csc codes so I really don't know how it will react on your phone. That being said I may not be able to answer connectivity issues and such. If anyone finds any issues using csc mods zip. You can always just flash the AP file and just use the supersu zip in the op in place of the Add csc root zip. This will give you a totally stock rooted Rom no tweaks or mods

Yes it does work on my stock rom. It also worked in the rom that was in this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73489978&postcount=925

So we follow the instructions on the original post here linking to the g55u root, finish that, then come flash this ROM?
Does this ROM break Android Pay? Also any suggestions to make the backup/restore process simple pre -,> post flashing rom?

I dont think my CSC mods were working so Here is a new zip to try
ADD_CSC_FEATURES_SYSTEMROOT_CANADA.zip
Follow same directions in OP just use this zip

[ROM][d802] Recovery Flashable STOCK 80220B Vodafone DE (+root)

Made this from the new 80220B Vodafone DE kdz.
This is the complete LG KK 20B ROM - nothing missing or messed with.
If you follow the method below exactly, no Audio glitches, no Touchscreen problems.
You can flash SuperSU and get root if you wish - your choice.
I provide this assuming you have an understanding of the terminology used below and appreciate that any flashing activity has some risk.
I strongly advise against using any form of restore from previous backups, such as TB or Nandroid.
Once the process is complete, custom recovery will be lost.
Method:
Download both the ROM zip file linked below and SuperSU zip file (if you want root) and copy to your SD card.
You need to be already on Rooted JB or PURE CM11 with either TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 or TWRP 2.7.0.0 (nothing else).
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Wipe: System, Data, Cache. Dalvik (nothing else)
Flash the ROM zip - ignore any "FAIL" warnings.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik (nothing else)
Go to the Mount page in TWRP and select System (leave the other defaults alone)
Flash the SuperSU zip - ignore any "FAIL" warnings
Reboot
Done
Don't use AutoRec to flash TWRP - you will lose Knock code.
Alternatively - if you have flashed TWRP on another KK Stock ROM (using AutoRec), you can full wipe (not SDCard) and flash this directly without going back to JB.
Download from here:

Hey, you mentioned in this thread that you were going to upload a flashable ROM with knockcode.
Is this what you were talking about? You don't mention Knockcode in the OP. Also at the moment I'm running Stock Kitkat, rooted and with custom recovery. Do I just go into recovery and flash this? (Assuming I have the right TWRP and I wipe Cache and Davlik) You have said its okay to be on rooted JB, just wondering if being on rooted KK changes anything.
Yes this is the latest with Knock code. It would be fine to flash from any other KitKat ROM with custom recovery. Make sure you make the correct wipes.
You forgot download link!
Also PrimaryGPT.bin is partition table so may have issues with phone storage size after flash... I could be wrong and it could be fine...

Download link on its way - uploading to G Drive this time not effing Mega.
I'm not testing this build - I don't want Voda bloat and 80220C Open is perfectly fine for me in all ways - I cannot for the life of me understand the hankering for Kock code.
Tried knock code and its awful...seems like its basically a pattern/number pin with invisible buttons...

Thanks. Personally I like knock code. It is easier to unlock while driving. . What could those two binaries do?
If anyone has a Pioneering Spirit, or the necessary cajones to try it, please report back!
You are scaring me to try it.
PrimaryGPT.bin
is for the partition( 16gb or 32gb)
and it can be excluded from the rom

well... of course the 2 additional .bin files could be excluded together or one by one... or left there.
Vodafone DE have both 16GB and 32GB variants, IIRC. Which may be why those files are there. So in theory it shouldn't matter if the whole ROM is flashed.
ROM wouldn't be stock if those files were removed.

Marshmallow 6.0 Info Thread

Figured since it's a brand new OS (Marshmallow; 6.0), it'd be nice to have a thread with all info on root/mods/recovery/ROMs/etc. Share your info guys on what works/doesn't work! :good:
1. First and foremost, the MM 6.0 100% stock TAR. Thanks so much @Sunderwear
2. Sadly, we still do not have a recovery that supports this new update (the TWRP 3.0 doesn't work unfortunately).
3. Root by flashing this TWRP in Odin, then flashing SuperSu 2.68 in recovery!
4. No mods/ROMs yet for Sprint S6 MM.

anyone living outside of US loses their signal after updating to MM 6.0.1?
i flashed back the stock 5.1.1 OL1 freshly, then updated to MM 6.0.1 right away without installing anything.
anything went right except no signal. i cant make call or sms...
All you should have to do is flash TWRP in Odin...which is still compatible with the update and then flash SuperSU 2.68.

Have you tried going to options in Odin and turning off the auto reboot feature first before flashing TWRP. And then when it says pass...you manually reboot into TWRP...by holding the volume down and power button until it turns off and then hold the button combo for recovery.

I installed the OTA update and then Odin TWRP and then flashed super SU. Root is working just fine for me and still sticking after reboots.
You installed the latest security update OTA (190mb) and then Odin TWRP? It didn't seem to affect my installation of TWRP or at least I was able to get into recovery as before. Install SuperSU as before with no errors. Reboot and no root or SuperSU. May have to do a complete reinstall tonight. Glad to know root can still work after this little update.
Solved: installing the latest SuperSU 2.71 worked without a hitch, root restored

Hey, this is the forum is all about.
I did want to ask only in koops thread, but well, not much answer there. So i ask only once again here, definitely not every thread available.
Moreover, everyone's phone could have its own issues, which need troubleshoots. Not all are the same.
I have installed twrp so many times for so many phones, so that i know that might be something else.
Im using twrp 3.0.2-0 in koops thread on pd2 well, but it didnt work on pd3. So what might be wrong here?

i installed the unofficial TWRP from the forums here, the non-chinese version. and then i flashed the phh superuser because I read somewhere else that it worked with the non-chinese TWRP. So I gained root, but substratum just wouldn't work. I believe I went looking for the files with root explorer to try and give it r/w permissions but it still didn't work.
I've been trying to find a step-by-step guide for how to get it to work on the Z Play but no luck

i installed the unofficial TWRP from the forums here, the non-chinese version. and then i flashed the phh superuser because I read somewhere else that it worked with the non-chinese TWRP. So I gained root, but substratum just wouldn't work. I believe I went looking for the files with root explorer to try and give it r/w permissions but it still didn't work.

Phh's root doesn't allow substratum APK to write to the system, I had the same issue.
I reflashed the system and flashed the Chinese TWRP which finally allowed me to gain full root access. Or try to do a factory reset and flash the Chinese twrp

and you would have to do an entire system re-flash to get full-root with chinese twrp? I couldn't just flash the chinese TWRP without doing a factory reset and get it to work? and with the chinese twrp, do i just flash the superSU TWRP provides, or is there another file i would need to flash?
thank you for all your help.

I've have flashed the stock firmware 6 times now. I originally flash phh's root and had the same issue you had, substratum wouldn't theme at all.
I believe I tried to flash the Chinese TWRP and root that way and I believe the SuperSU binary file couldn't be installed.
You need to remove phh's root completely, just not the APK but unroot completely.
Doing a full factory reset should remove the existing root method you used but it may not.
I've jumped through hoops getting this phone working the way I like my android devices to be.
I've never had so much trouble with any device.

thanks for the help. I definitely flashed the boot.img and the sparsechunks over but didn't do a complete reset so i'm wondering if it would work. I will have to give it a try later. and then with that method you were able to do systemless root to get android pay to work?

It's not seem less root as far as I know but there's xposed modules that might work, android pay isn't available in Canada ,so I'm not sure.
I would also fastboot erase userdata as well.
Make sure you set up a pin prior to rooting through the Chinese TWRP

Rooting XA1 Ultra Oreo 8.0?

So I tried to root my XA1 Ultra, but without luck. The bootloader is unlocked and twrp is installed but root? From all the methods the internet gave me I only have one left to try (unless I oversaw something). I use Magisk Manager so my option is to either get the boot.img file for my phone and let it patch or flash the zip thru the recovery which needs a data wipe and I am tired of setting up my phone just to see that nothing happend (I mean I can ignore this point). But I guess that the encryption system (also in twrp) is my enemy.
My question is: Is there a solid way to root my devices? It is stock rom and has Android 8.0 NOT 8.1.
thx
Flashing magisk zip file should not requirer a data whipe.
I have never heard you should whipe data but when you install twrp you need to reformat your device.

Even with reformatting it said that it needs a custom kernel.
Hi there,
I'm looking for a ROM AOSP for my Sony xperia xa1 ultra
I would like to manipulate fonts and I think this is the best way to don't get a bootloop
I would feel really thankful if you could give me a link or whatever, I can't find it by myself
Thank you

I don't really know what exactly you want from but I can only say where I downloaded the firmware.

I tried su but it aborted. And I had twrp installed but now when I try to flash it, my phone is stuck in bootloop.
That was is exact method in my mind after installing twrp. But have you cleared it from bootloop?

And how did you install twrp? If you don't mind sending me twrp link for download

I only got twrp flashed once with fastboot. The twrp image was downloaded for probably the Android 7 version.
So is not for xa1-ultra g3221 oreo? And have you gotten your phone out from bootloop state?

It is not for oreo and I got rid of bootloop by flashing the stock firmware with flashtool
At least out from bootloop. Which site if you mind where you downloaded the stock room, because most of this sites claiming to have stock domains are not reliable.
