Even usbhost had difficulties with the asop rom on oreo. It was my newbie impression, never the less. I think you will make it. It's just a matter of time and trying again.

Could this be of any help? Hw issue is not resolved, but at least it works there on Sw level.

Screen Shuts off when viewing full screen flash videos

The problem is when viewing flash video in full screen from the browser, the screen automatically shuts off after a period of time. This never used to be an issue with ICS. I have tried to take steps to fix the problem however I have been unsuccessful.Does anyone have a solution to this annoying problem? Cheers

Well I didn't had any problems like that, but found flash to be unstable, which is because Adobe stopped mobile flash and jelly bean is unsupported

This happened on my mytouch 4g slide. Its a flash issue. This doesn't happen to me on my gnex I'm using com.adobe.flashplayer-111115012.apk on jelly Bean

Is that the latest version of Flash Player or an older version which has been tweaked to make flash work better?

Did you try different browsers. I have a similar problem when using XScope, the screen goes totally dark when switching to full screen.
This doesn't happen with the default browser.

CM10.1 Nightly + Experimental

Hey guys Ive recently been using the CM10.1 Nightly roms and when the latest updates came out I of course went ahead and downloaded them. I tried both the lastest nightly and new experimental rom and what seems to be the problem is that the power button doesn't work anymore and I cannot put the phone in sleep mode anymore I either have to leave the screen on 24/7 or turn it off whenever I don't need it...
I was just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues then I can confirm its the rom that's causing the issue or if this is my phone hardware problem
This is a well documented problem in many threads... The origin of the problem is still unknown but the fix is easy. Reboot into recovery, wipe caches, fix permissions and done.
The problem will comeback after a variable number of reboots however.

What do you mean.. The screen won't timeout, or sleep. That's what this thread is regarding.. And is pretty much a deal-breaker..

FWIW, I do not have this problem at all with M2. I am using it with Wind 1.5 and the LG Adreno Driver update. It is pretty excellent actually. Battery life is a bit short of what I've gotten from CM9, but it runs like butter.

Oic, thank you. I'm going to have to figure it out and try again now..
Just dalvik wipe fixes the problem everytime for me...The damned problem keeps coming back, but at least it's only a dalvik wipe that fixes it ('Fix Permissions' takes a while).

Try rebooting. I think it's a bug in the build from China this week.

I could not get a handle on whats going on with it. Sometimes it snaps on, other times it takes forever or not at all. It's really weird. Right now I'm tethered over wifi so it's working.

Known current issue with the rom. It doesn't handle the /0 folder properly. I just formatted my sdcard to fix the issue, then pulled my data back over.
This is only the 2nd public build for GNex that China has made, so there are gonna be bugs.

init.d support, fixed GPS, fixed TCDMA-64, some kernel optimizations, WAY more stock icons, and weather enabled lockscreen (still not perfect on that,) hosts file patched to block ads, AdFree app is installed (can't get it from Play Store anymore.)
Next build should have a lot more though.

Wish the aosp browser wasn't crap on 4.4. Also wish WiFi autoconnect worked in 4.3. Its really annoying that it randomly stops working until you manually open the WiFi menu. It still occurs even on cm10.2.0

what exactly do you mean wifi auto connect fail? It has been auto connecting for me? do you mean auto connect as in walk home, phone detected wifi signal and automatically turn wifi on and connect? if thats the case then i have no idea as ive never tried to do so.
Anyways.........anyone know a good cm11 kernel? currently i am using stock kernel and maaaan its missing so many functions D:
testing since yesterday, the rom is stable and whitout problems, don't had crash etc, just have a glich when u take a screenshot (in the preview) but the captured immage is fine.
I think the only thing that must be fixed is the browser, some times is choppy, double tap for zoom sometimes don't works and the video preview don't work.
I'm not sure but i have noticed a slight battery drain, more than the 4.3 stock:good:

It doesn't happen in cm10.1 or 10.0. It started happening when google changed the wifi framework in 4.3 to the always on scanning. Even with that setting disabled the scanning is still glitched.

pretty stable nightly
Using CM11 nightly since yesterday. Had no issues except the screenshot preview. Screen shots are gettive saved correctly though. Also a little drop in battery life but maybe cause I am using it more. Is good for daily use.
I have flashed the nightly and there are 2 issues so far.
1. google now does not work
2. Spotify only plays 5 seconds then it goes mute while the playback continues.
I've found another issue: except for whatsapp and SMS I don't get any instant messaging notifications. Fb messenger as well as hangouts don't show anything in the status bar.
Funnily I use hangouts for SMS and it shows SMS...
Can someone confirm that?
Apart from that the only thing that really bugs me, is the glitch when playing music and powering off the screen. I would call it Playback-bug.
I dirtyflashed though. Too lazy to wipe, don't want to lose a lot of the stuff.
If nothing helps, I will wipe...

Its not the security thats the issue. The wifi radio stops autoscanning after deep sleep. Not everytime but enough to be a problem. I am not the only one with this issue.

Ive noticed this a lot lately as well.
My gnex is no longer on any carrier, strictly use on Wi-Fi now, and ever since 4.3 I experience same exact thing as you. (It also seems to randomly forget access points I've saved multiple times for no reason hahaha)
Haven't tried 4.4 to see if it persists yet

Audio not working on CM13 nightly

Hello,
I recently flashed CM13 and everything works great except audio on calls stutters or doesn't work whatsoever as well as some white noise apps I play at night have no audio output either. Regular music apps are fine which is odd.
Any idea what's wrong? Would hate to flash back to stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Quick edit.
I went back to FreedomOS from CM13 and now have the same issue with stuttering calls and the recipient not being able to hear me. Any idea what could be wrong? I'm on ATT of that matters.
