You're fine then don't sorry about it. You don't want the combined build.prop anyway as the last thing they care about is performance when just setting up csc lol.
Also I could go on a 10 page rant about how 99% of build.prop tweets are 100% bs and are just people copy/pasting random config entries from other people's existing ones with 0 understanding of what they mean. I'll avoid that for now

Ok thanks will do...

Seems to work good. Sprint S8+ on QGL. Thank you for posting.

hey, could you kindly also upload devcfg, recovery and the abl?? you need all 4of these filesto replace the old combo firm partitions if u rooted with sampwnd
when i update i like to keep all 4 from same version toavoid issues.. might even run better for you lol
i amcurrently on AQG3 so yours is alater version

lol u couldnt be more wrong bro, with combo firms ro.debuggable=1 the boot.img actually pulls prop values from /system (build.prop) which in turn sets em on boot, u can even change some ro props..
heck, you can disable knox, kap, tima etc. with buildprop alone.. ive also been experimenting with sys.boot_mode prop and others..hell if u set the wrong prop u can even end in a brick and have tostart over from scratch like i didlast night lol

That's not what I'm talking about, I'm talking about "supercharge your phone and quadruple your battery" thread with hundreds of lines of undocumented stuff that's either from jellybean and has been defaulted to the right thing since or in several cases is misspelled. I never said nothing was useful

No Clock Mod for EB13/EC05

Looking for a No clock mod that works with eb13/ec05, the only ones I've found are only compatible with dk28. Thanks for the help!
EDIT: Here it is, thanks to pdfmedic from http://lostandtired.com/
+1
I'll second that request
+1
i agree also
R u talking about in the notification bar? If so I have the services.jar with this mod but I'm on my phone right now. Ill post it up when I get home unless some1 else has it already or if some1 else from the viper team has my file they can post.
here is the jar that removes the time from the notification bar the file is already in a flashable zip just make sure 2 backup before flashing
Awsome!
Two quick ?s;
If I decide I want it back, what do I need to do?
And do you happen to have one that would get rid of the signal meter?
And by backup, you mean the backup that is available in clockword mod(sorry noob that's wthe "nandroid" people refer to?)?
Ok. Four questions.
to get it back all u would have 2 do is flash the stock services.jar
ill see if i can get the signal bar off also but cant guarantee it
and yes that is the back up im referring to... anytime u flahs something u should always make a back up
SRF/Bonsai users - flashing the above is NOT RECOMMENDED! The poster did not state it's compatible with either one, meaning you'll get the throttle service back... and you will not be able to boot your phone, because it's got leftover pieces of Carrier IQ left in it!
DO NOT WANT!
hence the backing up just in case... and if thats the case then please post your services.jar file and i will edit it 2 remove the clock
Thanks for the hbeadsup k0nane.

[MOD][MC2]4in1 Reboot

I have seen a few threads looking for this.
Edit: This is for Deodexed TW roms. If you are running a custom rom that doesn't already have this but has made changes to the android.policy.jar file you may have issues. I just reflashed this on my phone to verify since 2 users have reported issues and it flashed fine just before taking the attached screenshot.
Here is the walk through I followed to help me get it built
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1573032
I posted the android.policy.jar file from MC2 that I changed with the help of that walk through and viperboys MA7 flash file in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2288362
I have also attached a flashable zip to this thread
As always flash at your own risk and make sure to backup before changing anything
Flashed this after doing a backup, phone won't even boot now.
This is for Stock Deodexed roms. I have flashed this on my phone, 2 other local friends and a user on this forum has also flashed it. If you had any other mods that changed the android.policy.jar file which this changes that could have caused your issue.

I'm running stock deodexed. Had to do a factory reset and then restore the rom, because it wouldn't even boot with just a restore. Maybe it was something else.

Does everything work quick boot, recovery/odin mode??
Wolfed out Note Dos
I have not personally tried the download/odin mode option as I have not needed it at this point. Everything else works reboot, quick reboot, and recovery.
it work for me thank u
It didn't work for me. It didn't do any damage, but there's no boot menu. I even tried moving the android.policy.jar directly to the framework folder with no success. You tried, that's what counts... By the way, the links to the how to's on the first page are down, too. This was a very disappointing adventure
There's an XPOSED module for 4 in 1 reboot.

It didn't work. When you hold the power button it just goes to the Samsung boot screen and freezes. Worth a try though. For now, I just created a shortcut/widget with Desktop Visualizer and Rom Toolbox. You can create a shortcut that will show a boot menu. If you want a quick tutorial just let me know.

[Q][Need Help] Phone Won't Boot Past Splash Screen

So I was running Slimbean 6.2 weekly with ktoonez 6.8 kernel and decided to go into recovery (CWM Touch 6.0.3) to fix permissions and clear cache since I was having some battery drain issues. After I hit fix permissions it started to do so and then all of a sudden my phone rebooted and gets stuck at the splash screen. Went back into recovery to try and fix permissions again same thing happens. Tried clearing cache and doing a normal reboot still stuck at splash screen. I tried doing a factory reset but it keeps rebooting right when it gets to formatting data. So essentially I can do anything aside from format data so I am guessing there's some corrupt file there that's keeping me from formatting it. I've tried installing different ROM's that I have on my SD card but they always get stuck at the splash screen. Doing a restore doesn't work as once it gets to restoring data the phone reboots. I checked report error or something along those lines in CWM Advanced and it said can't format /emmc which I'm not sure what that means.
I've looked around but haven't been able to find any information on how to fix this. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Ok go into CWM wipe cache, wipe dalvik and do factory reset. Then flash any rom which you have on your phone storage. Does this work?

Even better, download one of the Odin 1-clicks. Connect your phone, open the 1-click and stand back while it does its magic.
EDIT: Here http://rwilco12.com/Files/Devices/S...ooted/SPH-L710_MD4_1130792_Rooted_Restore.exe
Click that and it will start downloading. When it's finished, connect your phone while in download mode and then run the .exe
Step 2: Profit
Indeed. Odin One Click is another, and better, alternative.

so I used the one click odin file but it didn't do anything that I can tell. All it seemed to do was check the md5 sum which came back successful and thats it. Do I need a stock rom file as well with this? Sorry for the noob questions

Sounds like you might need to fix DRK on your device. Put it in Recovery Mode and see if it mentions DRK fail at the bottom of it.

Yes it does..I don't mean to thread jack, but you'd be a life saver if that's how I fix it..
You'll need a UART cable and gcprokey to fix it. Must be done in download mode. If you don't have these tools take it to local professional in your area.
Awesome, thanks for the advice!

If you need to go back to stock you can use lgup to flash the stock three 10E Kdz from here.
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/United+Kingdom/
i have downloaded mm LG-H81520D-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip installed lgup...my phone is showing got bin.file ticked went to add from the folder and there are no kdz file in the folder. so its not possible to do it this way without root
You've loaded the wrong file, follow the link further down to find the correct location for kdz file, untick bin once you have downloaded it to reveal kdz, don't forget to retick after along with upgrade!

But would like to know how to get rid of the pop up box on boot up however! Anyone?

Hey!
If you're rooted just use a file explorer and go to
/device
and delete the Cust folder
and then reboot.
that will stop the pop up from happening again.
If you're not rooted then I'm not sure you can remove it. There might be a way but I'm not sure
Can see the Cust. Folder from es file explorer, got about 6 folders in it, just delete the lot?

I just flashed TWRP 3.0.0 and then flashed the latest chainfire BETA supersu v 2.67 zip
I just followed this guide
http://www.androidrootguide.com/2015/06/how-to-install-twrp-recovery-and-root-lg-g4-h815.html
But used the most recent TWRP and SUPERSU.
Have you already got your bootloader unlocked?
i have tried unticking bin file...ticking the bin file..tried has zip folder tried unzipping and all i get its blank i have looked in the folders and there is no kdz.
this is all i see 2 folders bootloader, meta-inf (inside many folders i get to android -update binary and updater script) under these 2 folders are boot, cust, modem, persist and system.

Heya
DId you download he kdz file from here
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G4/H815/H81520D/
The KDZ isn't in the complete 20D zip it should just be one file.
Take it that you are rooted then because I wasn't, and I downloaded the kdz from further down the link. If you uncheck the bin box you can then drop down the file type box to include kdz. You can flash the zip file but lg up uses kdz or tot file.

So am I, but it's done and works well, eating battery so far but have resisted a factory reset but should settle down. Go for it, pretty straight forward really.
