Hi everyone,
I hope you could be of some help. I bought a global version Mi6 last week. I updated the Miui 8 to the latest official release and then I set up the phone. Since the beginning the Miui music app never worked. It stops as soon as I opened...I sent countless reports to Miui staff but no updates of the app yet.
Any idea or suggestion I could try to make this app work?

Since it's not a bug (it does really work like that lol), press the recent button and slide down the music app to lock it on the memory, there you go
Thanks for the tip but it didn't work. I locked the app as you suggested but it still FC by itself

Probably your mediafiles are broken. You can try deleting the files on dcim/.thumbnails & dcim/.tmfs & clear data on mediastorage.

Do the following:
- Download the next launcher 3d LITE version from play store
- Go to Next Launcher preferences
- Scroll all the way down to About Full Version
- Click on Activate
- Enter nextlauncher3d in account, appoftheday in code
- Done!
Some have reported that it is still activating after the original post date.

That launcher is horrible. But I guess for the sake of free - might as well.

As asked before, is this a trial or something? Why is it free today? Does the dev know about this, or is this some loophole bug that was found? Kinda seems suspicious...
EDIT: Didn't read the whole post I guess. The code is "appoftheday" so that seems a little less suspicious lol.

Where is the preferences menu ?
worked for me....but its still the lite version. the full version still doesnt show as "purchased" so not to sure what all this activated. and if i uninstall it will i lose "all access" to features and just have a basic lite version again?

It won't show purchased on Google play. You have to do a backup of the apk.

Even though I activated it doesn't shows up under my apps in play store. Op need to edit the title as it doesn't activate the $16 full app, just a light version.

Hi im using ROM][4.4][KRT16S] Nexus 5 Experience - Full Factory Image for Nexus 4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537932 ,install whatsapp from google play store ,sign in whatsapp when u finish , now u can switch to art ,and boom no problem after upgrade to art with whatsapp anymore

no, it FC and that is it, same for Titanium Backup
Confirmed for not working in ART. It can't work in ART, the dev even said so.

I second this, I'm using ART on my Nexus 4 and WhatsApp is not having any of it. Now we play the waiting game.
Uninstall current version... Download whatsapp version 2.11.50 apk and disable auto update... Working fine for me with 4.4 ota and art...

I faced an issue with whatsApp after the Kitkat update, and so I uninstalled it and after that I am not even able to install WhatsApp in any of the modes, may it be ART or Dalvik. Its giving error as 'Error in installing application '-24''
Please suggest on what needs to be done
The op of experience rom has this announced in his first post. So why here again? Also are threads out there with a flashable libart.so library. So every KK rom can run whatsapp in art with this modified lib.

Since updating to t211xxamk2 I cannot install apk on my tab. It shows the dialog box with Install and Cancel buttons but I can only press Cancel, install is greyed out. I rooted my tab hoping to fix this, it worked fine for like a week but now I have the same problem. Any help?
I am using tab 3 7 inch T211.
Can you be little more specific. None of the apps getting installed or specific ones?

none of the apps is installing specifically installing from apk is unsuccessful, installing from play store works fine, restoring a backup is fine as well. It's just the apk(for any app) which is giving me trouble.
Your checked installing from unkown sources? In developer options?

Im wondering if I have to root my tab to get this voice recorder apk to install...
I installed AT&t's visual voice mail APK no problems..

Late reply, but the people facing this issue might benefit from this.
Seems it was an issue because of trying to install apk with 'night filter' on. Android disables app install while any screen dimming app is on due to security reasons.

Just tried to install the new Google Now Launcher / Google Experience Launcher on my phone. I am running stock first of all.
Tried almost all apks for the new Google search and Google home app. But when I select the Google launcher, I will just end up with forced closes. Changing the phones language and/or Google search language just won't work for me. Same problem with all settings and apks.
Anybody here using or having used the new launcher on their Gs?

Maybe try the new launcher that Google posted and see how that works? It's currently only for GPe and Nexus devices, but I'm sure it's been leaked on the internet SOMEWHERE.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.launcher

Strangely enough, I have the same problems. I want to know how LG made this not work without issuing a single update. -.-
Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I don't think that the new launcher will work on our phones until it is released for everyone via the Play Store.

since last update I have had some problems with it...some error warnings, network errors, no videos to show, login each time I want to coment....and yep some fc...

Well, as a matter of fact, it is your device and your setting to cause FCs, not a general problem, therefor no solution as long as you give no further information about system, apps, framework, moduls.
