No notifications on Fenix 3 after Oero update - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Every since updating my Pixel XL to Oreo*8.0, I no longer receive smart notifications on my Garmin Fenix 3 watch.
I have searched through my Pixel XL phone settings, through Garmin Connect settings, restarted my Fenix 3, re-paired my Fenix 3 to Pixel, reinstalled Garmin connect and reinstalled Fenix 3 watch software but still no SMS, call, calendar and other notifications?
They all worked perfectly prior to upgrading to 8.0, so it's something to do with the Oreo update.
All Garmin Connect app settings are set to on.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues on Oreo?

not that this is much help, but my fenix 5 works fine with the latest updates from both garmin and google

Google has a moron heading their Bluetooth department.
An actual stupid person.

Google has overnight released their September security update for the Pixel XL, which seems to have returned notifications to my Fenix 3.
Let's hope they stay.

Note 4, Pandora, Lollipop, or Toyota Problem?

just got a new Note 4 running lollipop, connect to my 2015 tundra via bluetooth, run pandora, and get no track info or album art/etc on the dash screen... tracks play just fine, but would really like this feature back... old S3 works just fine to show track info still... pandora version is the same, so idk if this is a pandora, lollipop, or a toyota problem.
I'd say it's a Toyota problem with not working correctly with Lollipop. As long as everything worked while on KK, then it's both car and Lollipop.

My note 4 on 5.0.1 does not work with our RAV4. It will connect for a short time and then disconnect. Very annoying

Anyone having BT connection issues on the Note 7?

Just got my VZW Note 7 and cannot connect anything BT. Anyone else have this issue?

I do not have issues with my Huawei watch, however, when on a call in my car immediately after activating the phone, the connection between the phone and car was slightly crackled at times...happened a dozen times over a 30 minute con call. I could tell it was not service related as it was a totally different sound than my Note 3.
Canadian variant here. No issues, paired 3 different devices. All working flawelessly
Canadian Bell. No issues so far
Sprint type here. No issues here, paired with headphones in seconds.
Mine wont fully pair with my Zen Watch 2 and won't pair at all with my Alcatel One watch. Of course it pairs perfectly with my Gear 2 watch. Pairs with several BT speakers as well.
No issues here. Rock solid with ZenWatch 1, Plantronics headset, and bargain bin Bluetooth speaker.
Ok, I figured it out! When I initially got the phone and logged in with my google account, it attempted to download all my apps and I stopped it. This morning I attempted to install android wear again and connect my zenwatch 2 and it didnt work. So, I force quit google play apps and uninstalled the updates. I rebooted and let it reinstall all the junk and update google play services. Now the zen app works as well as android wear.
No issues at all with my Verizon model

Not pairing with Polar H7 on Android Nougat

Yesterday I got my brand new Nexus 5x and I was extremely pleased with my new phone. It arrived 6.0.1 so after applying all the security fixes I tested everything on the phone to make sure it's working properly.
After that, I upgraded to N by flashing the factory images and restored my apps and data from my Nexus 4. Everything was working perfectly except for the heart rate monitor, the Polar H7.
The problem is that my 5x sees the sensor, but when I initiate the pairing process nothing happens. It just says Pairing... for a while and then nothing. I tried to tap it a few times and it just didn't want to pair.
What I tried to do:
1) Force stop the Bluetooth Share thingy and remove data/cache.
2) Reboot my phone
3) Try to pair the sensor directly from the fitness apps I use, Polar Beat and Runtastic Pro.
Polar Beat sees the sensor, but when I try to pair it, it either says sensor inactive or doesn't display my heart rate before dropping the connection.
Runtastic Pro can't even find the sensor. It has to be paired in the Bluetooth setting for it to work properly.
4) Factory reset the sensor as I found on the Polar's troubleshooting page.
5) Factory reset my phone and try to pair the sensor before restoring my apps and data.
The sensor works just fine on my Nexus 4. I paired the H7 again with it after the factory reset and it worked just fine. The battery is almost full and I do wear the sensor on the chest strap when I try to pair it with my phone.
I've seen a few threads on Nexus support forums where users mention Bluetooth connectivity issues and even a few mentioned their H7s not working on 5x and 6p after the update.
Anyone here ran into this problem and is there a solution? Other than to pray that Google fixes the issue.
I'm glad you are having the same issue, I was already starting to think my Polar device was broken. I'm also using a Nexus 5X with Nougat.
I have also logged this on the official Google Support forum:

I have the same Problem with my H7 from Polar. Went back to 6.0.1 and it's working again... Hope it gets fixed soon.

I have reported the issues on the AOSP bug tracker. Some Google employees labeled the issue for DevPreview-N. Sadly no comments, but I hope this means they will sort this out with the next Android N update.
Same problem here, Nexus 5X, Android 7.0 with September security update. My Polar H7 was connecting just fine before upgrading to Nougat, cannot connect any more after upgrade. My wife's Polar H7 connects just fine with her Samsung, but does not connect to my Nexus 5X with Nougat.
i Have the Same Problem with H7 and Nexux 6P Nougat 7.0
Same issue over here on a Nexus 5x Build-Nr. NBD90W and Polar H7 as well as Polar V650 bike computer.
I still have NBD90S and it is pairing with the H7 and working with polar beat.
I have a custom recovery so I didn't grab the latest security update yet. Will update and let you know if it then fails.
Upgrading through the the beta program to 7.1.1 (NPF10C) solved the problem for me.
Hi Guys,
Same problem here, not able to pair the H7 on my N5X running PureNexus 7.0.
Very annoying.
So is the 7.1.1 beta the only solution found untill now?
Updating to Android 7.1.1 worked for me too. Yay.
Same here, all fine now
FYI: I have a Polar H7 that would no longer pair on my Nexus 6P on Nougat 7.1.2 nor would it pair on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S on Marshmallow. It would just hang on 'pairing' in the polar beat app and never complete the process on the latest polar beat APK (2.3?). I rolled the Polar Beat app back to 2.0.1 via an APK download and it paired with no problem, so try that if you're still having issues.
How ca I update the Android 7.1.1 to my Huawei P9

2015 Infiniti Q50S: Bluetooth issue

Having an issue with my BT saying or delivering excessive message counts to the vehicle. 1 message = 20
I have a 2011 Buick Regal and I'm having connection issues. It pairs just fine and then it disconnects after 5 seconds maybe. I'll disable and enable Bluetooth again but it disconnects after about 5 seconds again. I had a Oneplus 3 and it had the same issue but eventually got fixed with a software update. So I'm optimistic that Google will have a fix for it soon.
They've been discussing various Bluetooth issues with many vehicles on the Google product forums since launch and word is that Google is aware of them and working on it.
I had this on my Ford Transit Connect MFT. I turned off message access in the Bluetooth settings on the pixel. That stopped it.

Note 10plus 5G and android Auto with ford head unit

Since receiving my note10+5g the goodle assistant either via the button or voice doesn't work when connected to my ford sync 3 head unit
My OnePlus 7pro works perfectly. I'm using the same build of android Auto on both. So has to be an Samsung galaxy note 10 or Samsung OS issue.
Any ideas

I just got mine on Thursday and noticed it being buggy as well. Also, my AA reverted back to the "old" style (for now, I'm sure).
My voice assistant is about 80% so far on my 6+ hot drive today, but I've been dropping in an out of service and roaming, so YMMV.
