Here you are my last modified ROM based on latest update v3.06. Now I can say that GApps are 100% functional, I tested near every Google app (Keep, Games, Movies, Earth, Maps...) and worked without any issues. How could I make this possible? This is a secret, but a friend help me
FEATURES:
- Removed some bloatware apps.
I am going to release soon a harder debloater to remove some other apps and in next versions maybe I will add Aroma.
- Magisk root manager.
You can use pay apps and others with this root manager.
- GApps completely functional.
As I said before, now they are working without issues.
I also made a little change and now notifications should appear correctly, without delays...

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- If the flash process fails with some error, it's because you didn't follow the previous instructions, so you know... This won't happen in 4.06 now.
- If you are having trouble getting your Google account the first time, try again and be patient, it works.
- Remember to give all the permissions to GApps, to avoid problems.
- It probably will not pass the SafetyNet test, to pass it you just need to install the Universal SafetyNet Fix module.

I am still not sure if you are using 3rd Party Recovery or the OEM recovery to flash your rom.
I am very hesitate with my Z17 which has been flashed with 3rd Party Recovery and Rooted with SuperSU.
It has been revealed in reference to http://bbs.nubia.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1001481&highlight=root, the root will be lost after you wipe off data.
Assuming I use 3rd Party Recovery to flash your rom. SuperSU will be replaced by Magisk but the device is still not rooted after being wiped off data. and i cannot use the 3rd Party recovery to root the device as it will reinstall Supersu.
Please advise how to resolve this issue....

I don't understand you, but if you follow the guide to flash, you will have functional root with Magisk.
@ arceoxis : Thanks for your work.
Because I'm not able to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP, the only things I can do are Wipe user data and Do a factory reset with the stock recovery.
Is it sufficient to install your ROM ?
Can I flash your ROM with the stock recovery tools ?

You have a guide with how to unlock bt and flash TWRP. You need TWRP to flash custom ROMs, stock recovery only can flash stock ROMs.

Thanks arceoxis, I know that guide... May be my configuration is "special" or my phone is "special" (or both) everything I tried doesn't work (see my last tests here).
I tried on 4 different machines (2 Win 8.1 x64 pro, XP pro, XP mediacenter and 2 linux (Mint Cinnamon)
fastboot always hangs on fastboot oem unlock...
I'm not sure it is possible to flash TWRP without unlock
I'll try again this evening (with the 3.06 stock) :
* factory reset (via parameters)
* wipe data, via stock recovery
* wipe to factory (I don't remember the exact item, I don't have the phone with me) via stock recovery
* flash the last 3.06 stock ROM
* "rewipe" (is it necessary ?)
... and try to unlock and flash TWRP again

reboot
reboot to stock recovery
wipe : user data and cache
reset to factory again
reboot
the phone started as a new one
install some applications (eg. firefox to have standard browser)
start adb session in administrative mode

I have successfully flashed your rom to my Z17 without issue with Gmail which I previously had. This is a good news. However the bad news are below
1. I cannot log in NUBIA ACCOUNT;
2. I installed ' Google News and Weather ' from Google Play Store. It requires me to check internet connection ( I know internet is connected) and nothing is coming.
3. I cannot install Bankwest (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.bankwest.mobile&hl=en) and it remind me that 'This app is incompatible with your device'. But I know the bankwest was successfully installed on my device previously.

There are several people are reporting same problem as yours in Nubia Chinese forum. It has been determined a problem with hardware. You can replace it with newone.

Band locking for Nubia UI 5.0
Nubia z17 is best phone but in Nubia UI 5.0 Modem driver has Algorithm modified by Nubia Team which continuously change LTE band for best signal & best speed ,which is good only on paper and very good effort but practically not good because every time band change Data connection & VOLTE (HD) connection off & on so if you are calling then call drop & if you are in internet connection lost. So BAND Locking is must in settings for Nubia UI 5.0
At least in India without Band locking , i can not use Reliance JIO LTE it has band 3,5 & 40 , and NUBIA UI 5.0 change band 3 to 5 & 5 to 40 , or 3 to 40 any time continuously.
I use Network Signal Guru Application with ROOT ,
So if any nubia z17 users face this difficulty please use Network Signal Guru App with ROOT your phone.
I think Nubia team must give band locking option in setting in next update.
Please forward this problem to Nubia Team China.

Thats actually a problem of Twrp on mi 5. THE password is your lock screen password. OR Clean Data only in Twrp and do not reboot to system instead again reboot to recovery. YOU WILL LOST YOUR DATA as you are coming back to marshmallow

Hi, is it possible to install this if i'm coming from xiaomi.eu nougat ROM? Data is already decrypted.
Reboot to TWRP, Go to Wipe, Only Wipe DATA and do not reboot to system instead go to main menu on twrp and Reboot and reboot to Recovery... after reboot, You should not get any passwrod or thing. Then install Rom, for safety install twice as it was mentioned in the Installation of Rom itself.

Yep you must flash gapps btw I dont think that this rom is good for now very bad optimizing and some bugs. I instaled it yesterday and i change it back to RR

try use ZCX recovery. because mine works flawlessly
I installed this Rom and it's made me trouble.
First, after it's booted up, i couldn't go true home screen, its crash.
I returned my backup rom(miui 8), and now i have no sound at all. I think it's because the android version...
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device of any sort.
By flashing this you take responsibility of anything that happens.
Process at your own risk!
This firmware was developed for the p905. It doesn't apply to the p905v at this time because it's bootloader locked and a custom recovery isn't possible.
If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.

my main problem as i quoted is helium backup .
titanium backup i rarely use but i could not get it root priviliges the first time i installed. now i am getting app not installed.
both apps worked perfectly with [ROM][P905][N7 Port] 6.0.1 .
problem is magisk
thanks for rom, work well, but I got issues with smart view or screen mirroring, it connects but then ended right away. is there anyway to fix this? thanks

Helium does not even require root priveledges? (Nevermind wrong helium saw u said helium blue I was thinking of helium back up by clockwork mod)

thanks for your reply and i am sorry if i am being a little confused. i am talking about
Helium - App Sync and Backup.
with superuser it asked for root priviliges and i used it to restore and backup without a pc.
now i need a pc the usb cable connected and ptp mode . i think is someting to do with MAGISK.

@Valera1978 you are so awesome and I am so glad you are developing these roms this seems to be the smoothest yet! I have maybe a dumb question though is flashlight already done and I messed up or are you waiting to finish the camera video and Mic or something like that and including it with that update? Also I hate to even ask bc I have been trying to learn to port roms and I realize it's a lot of work so much so I may never get it right but I was wondering if you could include a few features or point me in the direction of a tutorial to include them myself? Magnify and gif maker in air command would be great but I would really most like the ability to include more apps in the air command menu like you did with the n7 port. I downloaded magnify and the screen record for gif maker but no luck doesn't even show up but s translate did. Also if anyone would like it there is an app available that is nearly identical to the edge screen in the play store if you miss that feature from the n7 port. There is a free version and a pro version. It works really well. Again Valera thank you so much for this amazing rom and I really like the inclusion of magisk and the ability to use systemless root and systemless xposed. I can now hide my custom rom and root privledges from the apps i use that check for them! Again thank you so much!

By flashing a custom rom, your warranty is void 0ooh wait its void the moment you unlock bootloader.

Thanks dmilz for the time develop these ROMs. But the lineageOS zip cannot be flashed, it said "ERROR: 7" (can't install this package on top of incompatible data...). Do I need to do a system wipe before flashing?

I already do a full wipe before flashing and it seems ok with error "E: unknown command []]".
Once booted it keep booting into the custom recovery.

Issue noted.. download the modded boot image in op (just added) .flash it after room install.. then reboot to system..

2. Do I have to install the ROM, boot into system first and then install GAPPS via TWRP or can I install both ROM and GAPPS at the same time?

In my case this did't fix the authentification problem. HAve you maybe done something else too? Deactivate Auto-Updates in Playstore or something like this?

Please use a third party recovery brush, the specific method with the brush other third party ZIP package.

3. Probably the first 'audio.deep_buffer.media' in 'AUDIO' is 'True'
4. Change 'True' to 'False'

I have a problem with my Mi5S. Videos and audios does not play properly.
When I try to play a video or audio there is a strange buzzing sound, videos stutter and audios stuck between 0:00 and 0:01.
This is happening at almost all apps (Gallery, youtube, facebook, instagram...) only exceptions I notice are browsers and x-plore video player
I uploaded screen record of the problem. First I open youtube app there is problem. Second I open chrome there is no problem.
I first encounter this problem after I installed TWRP and LineageOS. I updated LOS one week later and problem was gone but it came back. I thought this was a bug of LOS. Ive tried installing dolby drivers. Ive wiped dalvic cache, cache and data. Reinstalled LOS. Ive installed Resurrection Remix. But non of them work.
Please help what can cause this problem and how can i solve this?

I found a way to solve it.
1. root mi 5s

Maybe new firmware can solve the problem? Search error 7 fix and flash latest firmware in recovery. No wipe needed.

i've tried the most knowned roms like lineage os 15.1, RR 6.0 etc....
The problem is on all roms based on android 8.1...
One week ago all was nice i was on unnoficial build of LOS 15.1,
and when i tried to install the official build i've had the error 7 (i know how to solve the error but i didnt do i was to hurry) and so i installed the miui 9 rom eu by fastboot and miflash and when i reinstall twrp, root and LOS15.1, i got this ****ing problem of medias who dont work.

You probably have the wrong firmware. Try flasher older Firmware. That's all mine was
Try firmware 8.1.4, Luk told that that is oldest FW that is supported.
Or flash 8.3.15 latest one.

I've not this problem on miui 9EU.... but i want to install a stock rom for all the good points it gives ! thank yuou for your answer but its not the solution at my problem...
this i don't understand is that i was last week on LOS 15.1 and it was working like a charm, but after i installed miui9 by fastboot(i lost everything by the way) when i reinstall my rom LOS it didnt worked..... i'm so tired of miui ty for your help...

Well they say that Atomic has best battery life, LOS is getting fix for restarts and battery drain with todays build.
Also, from recent posts best DEV FW is 8.3.1 or STABLE FW 9.5.1.0 if you are going to LOS15.1.
I am still on Viper OS, and I am waiting a little bit more on 8.1 roms to iron out small issues and quirks

You need to have a custom recovery (TWRP etc.)

2. Flash it using custom recovery. THATS IT!
This does not effect your current rom it only changes some files (as you can guess from the size of file)
I have this problem on my Poco F1. I did all I could jumping from one rom to another, clean flashing miui roms to start with but nothing worked. What only works is an outdated version of a custom rom based on LOS. Also tried all the solutions in this thread but nothing worked. If someone is facing the same issue, your help will be truly appreciated. I cannot update my phone because of this damn issue.

Did you find the described location on your phone? I can't find that file at my Xiaomi Mi 6.

My build prop don't have audio.deep_buffer.media file in it please help me out. I have installed corvus ROM on poco f1 and tried everything please. Only thing that work with sound is my notification and calls
