https://forum.xda-developers.com/z2-force/moto-z2-force-accessories/bumpers-mods-t3656022 The bumpers should fit between the mod and phone. most cases would let most mods fit.

Thank you. I already bought a spigen case. But if battery life is bad I will have to invest in a battery pack and bumper.

I haven't had to charge my phone all day. It usually gets down to 50% on my normal use days. Heavy use I have seen it drop to 35%, but by then it's been unplugged for 18+ hrs and had 3-4 hrs screen time by then. This is with no battery packs or mods with greenify.

3000 mAh Battery and cover

3000mAh battery for our vibrants for around $22
Found this a few days ago, ordered one, and am completely happy with it. Battery life is excellent and the extended door fits well. The bump takes a bit to get used to.
Just to be clear I am not selling these and have no affiliation with the seller. Just putting it out there

How about this 3500 one?
Also, how much thicker does it make the phone?

I haven't found any cases yet for the extended battery.
PS. These cases are for the i9000....and the camera position is the same at the vibrants/
what about the speakers?
So neither the camera nor the speakers are covered up by these extended batteries and cases?

The 3500mAh looks to be built into the back cover. A little weird. The 3000 mAh works great. I just ordered 2 more from the link above for 7.99. I paid 22 for my first one because I don't like to wait, but the ones I just ordered look like they are the same. They should work fine

Hi for the people are using the extended battery, do you people recondition/wipe battery stats after flashing new rom? Just wonder cuz I got myself one but it doesn't seem to last long. I did as instructed when first received let it die then charge then die then charge for 4 times. Thanks

STOP THAT! You are doing harm to your battery by "reconditioning", fully discharging this type of battery is one of the wort things you can do to them. Four times? No wonder it doesn't last long, you probably did permanent damage already.
Try to never let your battery drop below 30%, li-ion batteries suffer if you do. When you flash a new ROM just make sure the battery is at 100% when you flash it, and if you want wipe the battery stats to calibrate the phone, thats it.

And I'm guessing my body cover (its like a glove) on the vibrant wont work with these big cases now?

As long as you can avoid it. It's a shame that so many people keep spreading that bad information in guides and such. Deep cycling batteries only worked for old technology that would hold a memory. Li-Ion batteries are at their happiest at about 85% charge.

best slim extended battery?

So im in the market for a new battery. A higher capacity one but slimline. I do not want a different size battery door. Anybody know of any good ones for a decent price?
Great question. I'm wondering the same thing.
I bought this one. I had to wait a month for it since is came from Hong Kong. I can get ~16 hours running the screen at 80% brightness, texting alot, 3g radio always on, constantly checking email. No complaints other than the time it took to ship.

I was sceptical but the reviews swayed me and I tried these- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XOUM12
I'm pleasantly surprised, I notice a definite difference in battery life and the wall charger is a bonus. For the price it's hard to beat and delivery was within a week.

Personally I have found these batteries no better than the stock htc red. With juice defender I get fair batt life with either...10-16 hours or so. I do find the wall charger useful as the battery never gets fully charged when charging in the phone.
There are no slim batteries that are better than stock, the only thing to increase your battery is to add a few millimeters oh my god, to your phone and get a 3500 you won't be disappointed, and yes like someone already said, use the search button next time this must be my like 6th time answering this question muskeg let alone if someone else did too, which I feel has happened too

I have the 2000mah battery and its marginally better than my OEM battery.
The Seidio stock size extended battery sucks. Doesn't even charge past 90% anymore, and I didn't really notice a difference.

Extended Battery Vs PowerSkin battery Case

Today EVO 4G Power Case
was Released and is set to replace the Extended Batteries that we know and love (hate) but with some loss of function "kick Stand" & "HDMI Out Port"
you can just Remove the case when you want to Connect to the HDMI so no big deal.
I Currently Have the Extended battery from Amazon that was about 12.00 and have seen some great battery life but my phone is not protected at all its bare.
This would Eleimated this Problem for myself and everyone else.
If you Use the Promo Code they send you, You can get the case for $41.99 with free shipping .
The only problem that i can Foresee is the holster or case to clip it to your belt
If you can find a better deal Post it for the rest of us.
Or if you think the Extended battery is the Better of the 2 post what type of battery you have 3500mah, 2500mah and what kind of life you have gotten outta it..

Can't wait for the review!!
Read the Amazon reviews for the iphone one. People say it drains the phone battery first and then tries to recharge the battery. Not sure if I like that.
The "No kickstand" idea is a no-go for me. It's what makes the EVO stand out, among other things.

Even at that point they don't really understand how the case system works.
The phone uses it own battery like normal but once its low the case will recharge the phones battery Thus keeping the phone charged and ready to use so you don't have to sit next to a charger all day.
to add on to what kratos was saying with the version for the evo u have the option to turn the case on and off thus turning it onceyour battery depletes

I'd like to know what you think. I'm using mine now. I had my EVO and the power skin fully charged and have been using my phone for a few hours and one of the things I've noticed is the power seems to be draining on both the evo and the power skin. My EVO's battery is at 85% and the power skin is reading 3 lights on the back. Is this normal? I thought the power skin was supposed to drain first then your EVO's battery? Let me know how yours is making out? I'm not sure if this is normal or if mine is defective. Thanks.

I charged mine up fully last night and will see how it handles today. You know you can turn the case off when not in use just hold the button on the back for more than 2seconds and the case will shut off

did you check that the green light is on after the power is unplugged
if its not then its not working
mine once unplugged the green charge light stays on since the power skin is charge the battery constantly once the power skin is drained then the regular battery gets depleted

Samsung EB-H1G6LLUGSTD – Battery Charger/Stand with extra 2100 mAh Battery

I honestly don't know. One time it got down to 20% after about close of two and a half days of use and I plugged it in before I went to bed and in the morning it's at 100% (around 7 hours of sleep).
The first day I got it I plugged it in and charged it for about 8 hours even though it has 80% charge out the box just to make sure.

Yeah, I don't use Android pay so I can't say that nfc is that important to me.

Sadly it doesn't support nfc. I even tried to transplant the ncf antenna from the original battery door to the new extended battery case but the groove is too deep and it didn't work :crying:

So i don't have this exact item, i have the Zerolemon battery/case, pretty much the same looking case.
I bought a triple pack of these (when the triple pack was available) just so I had room for error.

The trick isn't getting it on the case, it's getting it on the phone, then actually using it. I got it prety much in a spot now where i can have google pay work 80-90% of the time, otherwise the card terminal thinks I'm placing multiple cards on the reader. I have to generally tilt the phone sideways a bit and hold it at an angle for it to detect properly @ Walgreens.

Thanks for contributing, I'm going to order it and see if I can make it work
I got the LG V20 Battery Perfine 6400mAh and am pretty happy with it - have had it for some time now. It was like the feel of having a whole new mobile when I put it on. 6400mAh has been enough for me for a whole day and I don't remember that iv had any day that it could not go through a day of work as of yet. Maybe I need to do some harder use on it but overall it seems I don't need something with more juice then this.

Hello.
How much SoT are you getting?

Bought it from amazon and been using it for a week, phenomenal battery life, no excessive heat and the case that comes with it is quite good and rugged.
Ask me any questions if you have any.

Does it fit inside the official LG battery charger kit BCK-5200? Door would be open of course, but at least if it could be charged outside of the phone?

I honestly don't know. One time it got down to 20% after about close of two and a half days of use and I plugged it in before I went to bed and in the morning it's at 100% (around 7 hours of sleep).
The first day I got it I plugged it in and charged it for about 8 hours even though it has 80% charge out the box just to make sure.

So you only plugged it in? You didn't drain it 3 times like it usually says? Any issues as far as charging and keeping the charge?
Got mine on Saturday it was at 62%. Charged for 9 hours straight . Here's Gsam battery stats so far

This same battery the OP mentioned
Perfine V20 10500 mAh.... Im not sure if it's really 10500 though. Maybe just 10000 mAh
Let it get to about 10%. Here's the stats,
9+ hours of screen in time, haven't charged in 2 days.
This is a great battery.
Thanks to the OP for pointing it out on here
Does the back of the phone heat a lot when charging or during heavy usage/browsing/gaming for the 10500mah/6400mah?
