Gear S Plugin Notification - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

I have a Gear S3 connected to my Note 8. I can't stand the ongoing notification for the Gear S Plugin. Is there any way to get this to go away?

Does anyone know if its possible to get an icon in the status bar that tells if my bluetooth headset is connected? Right now its impossible to tell if im connected or not, apart from the short notification that pops up for a second saying bluetooth headset connected..
what id really like to see is an icon in the status bar similar to the one that appears when a headphone is plugged in.
I searched market to no avail..

If you look better @ the bleutooth icon u'll see it's changed when u connect your headset

How to keep BT enabled on phone but disconnect watch?

Hi,
I want to keep BT enabled on my SGS7 but also I no need to have watch connected all the time (annoying notifications). For example, I am at home and I need BT to control light in room but I no need phone to be connected with Huawei watch. How to disconnect watch (temporary) but keep BT enabled?
P.S I don't want to unpair watch because I need to quick connect after I leave house (manualy).
I used to use Secure Settings in a Tasker profile to disconnect my watch while on a phone call and reconnect when the call was over. You could probably do the same thing based on your location (at home or away).

My focus isn't automatic switching, but keeping BT enabled while watch is disconnected. I want to manualy connect/disconnect watch. There must be native option for that, but I can't find.
Now it works like this:
I enable BT on my phone -> Huawei watch connect to phone automaticly.
And I want:
I enable BT on phone -> watch stay disconnected. I manualy connect watch with phone when I need, and disconnect when I no need watch anymore. So I can use phone BT to do other things.
I've never done it, but Tasker can create a widget that would let you run the toggle profile manually.

Android Wear app on phone.
Gear symbol upper right
Touch :"HUAWEI WATCH connected"
Toggle "Connected" slider off
That leave phone BT on and does not require repairing watch, just slide it back on and the watch reconnects.

Rockscout not working on S9

Hi there, i've been trying to get rockscout working on my new Galaxy S9 in my Toyota C-HR.
I activate mirrorlink and connect the phone, I can start rockscout on my car's display it launches but then it shows me all the available music apps greyed out with a plug icon next to them.
When I click on an app (ie Spotify) a message pops up which tells me that my phone must be connected to a mirrorlink enabled headunit. "Funny", as it is displaying the message on a the display of my car.
So I'm kinda going round in circles, any help or suggestions would be REALLY appreciated!

Any issues with samsung watches and our pixel 2 xl?

Ive been hearing that if you dont use a samsung phone, the watches will not be able to use all of the features. Im looking at the new Galaxy watch or the older s3 frontier.
Everything normal. Sometimes do not show "aswer icon" on watch, but not all time. Multiple Bluetooth devices now works.
Incoming call notification from WhatsApp, skype, viber still not work, but this issue was with Samsung phone too.

Galaxy watch & Smart Lock

Hi,
When I try to activate the Smart Lock function on my smartphone based on bluetooth, it doesn't find my Galaxy Watch in the list of bluetooth devices even my Galaxy Watch is already connected.
Do you have the same issue?
Did I miss something?
Thank you.
