[Q] Enable 15.5 MegaPixel/16:9 on non stock-based ROMs

Hi there!
I recently came to know that newer iterations of the stock ROM support 15.5 MegaPixel-mode in 16:9 format.
Non stock-based ROMs (like the CM11 I am running) however do not seem to support this yet. The maximum resolution for 16:9 is still 8 MP.
My question is:
Is there a mod/hack/patch/flashable zip or file I can alter to enable support for this yet? XDA as well as Google didn't give me any proper results.
If not, can anyone provide a link for a place where I could suggest this for CM11? I couldn't find any proper section on the CM forum...
HERE is a post from the german Android-Hilfe.de board that shows screenshots from stock cam as well as Google cam with support for 15.5 MP.
Greetz and thanks in advance for any help,
Unr3aL67
I'm also missing that resolution. It is the only think missing in open source builts for honami
Xposed module 20mp first on the modules list? You can chose 15.5 16:9 option but 8mpix will be 4:3 i don't know why

The popular Samsung Experience ROM port haven't the Edge Screen/Full Screen gestures, and it's also not possible to hide the stock navigation bar by using the 3rd party apps.
In this video I've showed the way to remove the navigation bar permanently and to install Edge Gesture on the device .
This method is working for every devices with Samsung Experience ROM (Treble Port) i.e Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, One Plus 6 etc.

What rom you are using
Low end Samsung phone + Mediatek = no GCam.
Maybe GCam GO works? Some versions to test:
CameraGo_2.5_Greatness_Special-2 (Greatness, 2021-09-24, GCam Go)
Camera_Go_1.8.3_Wichaya.apk (Wichaya, 2020-10-07, GCam Go)
GCamGo_GreatnessNS2.apk (Greatness, 2020-10-20, GCam Go)

Gave the Special 2 a try and it worked fine. However, I found the results to be worse than the stock camera.

Question Built-in Document scanner working?

Has anyone been able to get the built-in document scanner to work on the camera app? I try to point at documents and it never pops up at all. This feature was almost flawless on the S21 ultra I had. It's little things like this that makes me wish I kept the S21 ultra. Samsung builds in features that takes Google years to implement in the pixels. Depending on what the S22 ultra ends up having, I may have to switch back.
It's the same with the scrolling screenshot. It barely works on Google and with only select apps. Samsung's scrolling screenshot works way better.
I don't think you can with the native camera app they must have removed it for Android 12. You may need to use Google Drive as you can scan documents and go from there.
I think in general you can always use Google Lens on any image, or even if you don't and you have a picture of a document, Google Photos has sometimes OCR'd the photo so that you can select text, etc. You can start with Google PhotoScan to get a proper straight and flat looking document without glare.
Here's an example (this is using Google Photos on the computer, after I took a screenshot on my phone).
"Copy text from image" in the upper right corner, and the result in the lower image:
