After using Navigation GPS for 20min, 10min calling and some 20min surfing and 10min chatting

6 hours of screen ontime for 1 day, or two days with 4 hours screen. Same as marshmallow, great battery life for a phone and standard for this device.

Hey, how you get 4.2%/h? My phone (A5 2017) discharges about 10%/h while surfing web, fb, messenger, snapchat... almost on all apps

Battery bug with 2.3.6 update?

I installed the 2.3.6 update using Kies. I have fewer apps installed now than before the update and the are no apps installed now that weren't before.
I checked my battery life under about phone and found that in 8 hours and 7 minutes of up time, my phone has been awake for 7 hours and 59 minutes of it.
I'm not sure what's causing it, but I've started deleting apps one by one to see if I can find it.

Battery life got shtyier and so did internet speeds. New update sucks
Mine isn't doing that. I'm getting days on a charge. Leaving wifi on does drop this to one day only.
My battery life seems to be better than before. Sorry guys.

T-Mobile WiFi calling battery life

i've been using T-Mobile WiFi calling for a few weeks now, and for the most part battery life seems good, maybe even better than without.
However, last night it sucked 30%+ of my battery with a partial wakelock overnight without me even touching my phone. Anybody seen this before or have an idea on how to keep it from doing this?
Oddly enough, under Better Battery Stats, it's listed as AlarmScheduledService, but just to make it clear I had no alarms scheduled. Under Android's native battery usage display, it first showed up as *wakelock* before resolving into IMS Service.

can you tell us more about what you did during your use of the battery. i can get like 40hrs of standby out of my stock battery with a kernel flashed. but more like 24 hours with 3 hours of screen time
Well i started the day at the golf course so i didn't use it very much, then i got home and played a bunch of youtube videos, a few movies on it, browsing, and a few calls, i was actually trying o run down the battery to try and get a full charge tonight, also that was with bluetooth/wifi on all day.

Battery Drain even after kernal + greenify tweaks

Hello!
Apologies if people are sick of see threads like this, but I figure I ask for some advice considering I'm only getting about 6-7 hours of actual phone use with only 4 hours of screen on time.
SM-N900T on Jedi Rom with included SaberN3Kernel_KK kernel with interactive governor with these settings:

I've also done almost everything on the battery maximize thread here including greenifying and freezing applications:

The phone isn't in wakelock so I'm unsure why I'm not getting at least 6 solid hours of screen time.
As you can see with screen on time + spotify I've only used the phone for about 6 hours total which dropped me down to 5%.
Unsure what else I can do at this point, maybe just a bum battery?

Question Phone is awake almost all time and more battery issues

1- I have a strange battery issues sometimes I get more than 8hrs SOT for about 80% then I get less than 3hrs for the same 8hrs the next charge. (Only browsing and social media apps no games)
2- Also the more strange that the phone is always AWAKE even with location and bluetooth off and I can't identify the reason behind this drain (I lose more than 10% while sleeping)

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3- Another strange issue is the battery status gets deleted randomly ex) the phones is active for more than 30 hrs and when I see battery status it gets me the usage for only 15 mins or 1-2 hrs and maybe after some hours I do the same thing but it shows the status for even earlier usage that didn't show for the previous trial
Any help ?
Check your wakelock with app like 3c battery stats.
there must some apps that has high wakelock.
Just like Health apps.
