I recently posted about my device have died, I took to warranty but I had no response from Motorola (yet). But I don't expect it to be made warranty by being with unlocked Bootloader. So I know there are ways to reflash/unbrick Moto G1 and 2 but I found no tutorials for the G5. Is there ways, and the files needed to make a Blank Flash in an hardbricked Moto G5 (not plus)?

They don't exist yet. Someone from Motorola has to leak the specific files for the Moto G5. I've already killed my device.

Hey bro.. i just got out of the same situation you are in.. what i gather is you know how to use blankflash.. now the crucial thing is you need blankflash of moto z2 play.. as that works perfectly. Once you get that, start it and do the process of blank flash. Once done successfully it will boot your device into bootloader mode from there you need to follow the link i am giving

Well I'll be getting my Australian LG G4 today or tomorrow in the mail (hopefully) pretty sure the model will be either H815 or H815T but all of those flash on any of the H815(?) variations. If you like I will upload my rooted system.img after I'm done making it.
Was planning on holding out rooting my device for a while, but hey.. I may as well make the rooted system.img in the meanwhile

My G4 h815 eu unlocked (serial 505) went in bootloop .. i took it in LG and after 5 days LG give me back my G4: they have replaced the mainboard
To generate unlock.bin we need to go on website lg dev etc.. and put imei and devide-id ... and here is my problem
Imei is the same as my first G4 .. the devide-id NO! When i try to register the imei and the new device-id, i get an error that the device-id is not correct
Is there any solution about that?
Will i be able to get my G4 unlock again?

I sent an email 4 days ago to dev lg and they replied me really quickly, they ask me some photos of serial number under the battery and after 2 days they changed my device-id

I had bootloop on a 505 serial G4, i bought G4 before the 1th may 2016 (the date after LG avoids warranty with unlocked devices)

Just send a mail to the LG Dev team, they will correct their database to get your Imei and your Device ID matching again.
Describe your problem in the mail and add picture's of the box of the device and the sticker behind the battery.

not all are lucky. some same they requested unlock .bin never use it, and were denied repair... guess its just luck..

I've realized before LG stopped supporting the V30, the damnned LG G6 US997 USA unlocked could be the last G-Series to enjoy unlocked bootloader & root, I don't know why the European variants getting bootloader as soon as the newer flagships are launched! Before buying the almost useless G710ULM, Last year the European G710EUM is costlier than the ULM. Since I was on a budget, I could afford the ULM "sigh"! Even the latest European LG V50 & the LG G8 is bootloader unlocked!

Yes, it can be unlocked and rooted. As far as I know, the instructions have not made their way to XDA, and XDA doesn't allow linking to the Telegram group where they're posted. Just Google for a Telegram group for the LG G7 ThinQ and look for the instructions posted there.
Unlocking isn't without some risk, though, since it involves temporarily overwriting the bootloader with another one, but it reportedly works.
So I dug up the instructions and the associated files this morning, but before I pull the trigger on this: will LineageOS builds work after the bootloader is unlocked? Obviously they're tagged for the EU model in the other thread, but I figured I'd check and see if someone tried this already.

Tried to DM you the link, please let me know if that worked! Otherwise you can install Telegram and just search for LG G7. Should pop up right towards the top.
Any new info on this? The G7 hardware is great so I would love to put lineage or some form of aosp on it. Couldn't find the telegram link though, so I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could send it to me. Thanks!

message @octoplus on telegram, you dont need to cross flash, just upgrade to latest Pie android. Then follow the steps as usual, worked for me.

what guide did you follow by a chance?
The main post on lineage forum for lineage, the telegram guy for fastboot. I wrote posts on there, look for them. they have valuable information.
Can I make my Korean G7 (710N) think its Canadian?
I bought G7 from Korea on eBay (G710N) and wonder if I can make it canadian? Its workable, just irritated by minor things like dual clock on lock screen always shows Korea, and miles instead of km is default for some apps, etc...

I am pretty new at creating a custom recovery for a particular devices (In this case our Moto G8 Play) but willing to learn and take advice, if you or any developer has anyadvice, be more than welcome to message me (I'm also new in the forum) ^_^

Do you speak portuguese? Are you from Brazil?
There are only some differences in sensors. XT2016-2 is One Macro and XT2015-2 is G8 Play.
I have exactly build PMDS29.70-81-5 on my moto one macro. I've patched its boot.img with magisk and it is rooted.
Now, I am trying to learn how to build a twrp tree and how to repack logo.bin for removing bootload unlocked message and possibly motorola logos and sounds. I really hate them.
Please, help me with it ! Please :crying:

Root magisk on it is too simple. You just have to extract boot.img from the stock rom and patch it using magisk manager.
For last, you just have to flash it using "fastboot flash boot_a magisk_patched.img"
