[BOOTLOGO][FLASHABLE] Updated Stock Boot Logo - Droid RAZR M Themes and Apps

It took quite a while to make this in both MS Paint and Paint 3D, but I've done it, I've gotten our old red and grey-white boot logo and updated it using the Moto G 2013 Logo from this thread [https://forum.xda-developers.com/dr...tlogo-moto-g-2013-lollipop-bootlogo-t3579563] as a base, and I have to say, it looks great.
I'm not all the way done, I think I might want to size down the "M" Logo in the center, and if I do end up resizing it I'll keep the original for the people who enjoy it as it was
EDIT: For people rocking .15 builds without TWRP, you can still flash the logo.bin file inside the zip using: [fastboot flash logo logo.bin]
I'll link and attach the file.
I'll also link a picture of my phone booting up with it as a preview.

[Q] Change Boot Logo? (without Logo Me)

Hey, I've done some reading up around here, and I'm looking to change my boot logo (Boot logo. Not the animation). So far, it doesn't look like anyone other than the developer of Logo Me has any method to do so.
From what I understand, "fastboot flash logo.bin logo.bin" doesn't work as it does on most other devices.
Now, I'm no professional, but I've got some of what many don't have: time and dedication.
It boils down to this: To change the boot logo, I'd need (1) a way to get the boot.img off of the phone, (2) a way to reliably edit the boot.img without corrupting it or messing with the format, (3) a way to figure out which file is the boot logo, and (4) a way to get the modified boot.img back onto the phone (again without messing it up in the process).
I'm fairly sure (4) is solved with "fastboot flash boot.img boot.img", but the others, not so easily dismissed.
When I make a nandroid backup in TWRP, the boot backup is an 8MB "boot.emmc.win". I'm fairly sure that this might be of some use, even if it's only for opening and exploring the contents of the partition.
I'm not sure if anybody has any remarkable leads that they've kept to themselves, but I'd figure this would be a good place to start.
Boot.img = ramdisk+kernel
Nothing to do with boot splash

the image that youre looking for is somehow connected to the bootloader. so far only ezekeel has figured out a way to do it safely. key word is safely. it appears as its very easy to brick the device if a mistake is made. now, that said, ezekeel isnt your ordinary app developer. hes also one of the smartest, most creative kernel developers that the android has(that doesnt work for google). youve probably even used one of his many kernel mods in one or more custom roms/kernels that youve tried, across varying devices.

[Q] Bootlooping with CMRecovery?

I was getting ready to install MIUI v5 when this happened. I was on an older version of Paranoid Android, I'm not too sure which one but it's not the most recent 4.3 one. I tried to boot into clockworkrecovery mod, but now I'm just getting a boot loop. I see the Google symbol with the unlocked lock at the bottom, and then it goes to the Clockwork logo for like 3 seconds. At the bottom it shows the version number, v6.0.4.3, but then it starts to boot again. Right before the logo disappears, the whole screen gets brighter for a split second. How can I fix this?
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks,
jjjnmk

I've been looking into that, but I don't have the proper drivers installed on the computer I have with me (which I know is really really dumb). Is there a way to install the drivers even if my phone can only get to fastboot?

If you don't know driver stuff, use GNex Root Toolkit. It will guide you to install adb/fastboot drivers.

I will pay for changing boo logos on my tablet.

Hi,
I would like to pay someone that could help me doing the following:
I have a Vido N90IPS tablet:
http://www.anybuying.com/media/cata...525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/v/i/vido-n90-ips-1.jpg
I downloaded the following custom ROM which works great on the tablet:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...ao-n90-ips-tablet-root-android-4-2-2-custom-f
What I want to achieve is that the tablet boots with my own logo. From powering on the tab until it hits the start screen. I think there are three places where it requires the change of the logo. I also need an animated logo in the right place and need information on what format is needed for the animated logo which I can provide.
I want later on to be able to flash this either through RKAndroidTool or CWM, which one is possible.
Please send a PM.
u can edit
boot.img in it u might find ####.RLE
this is boot logo
in system/bin or system/media u might find bootanimation or bootanimation.zip
the base of all is PNG though

[Q] Stuck on boot while converting back to sense

while following the xda guide and youtube video listed here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733523
and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCGj0rOuiR4&index=1&list=PL1sUEhaksHWiSi_vtKtb4KPQNHqEEq1L1
I was able to make it to the 9:00 mark on the video or the part in the xda post stating to type the command fastboot reboot-bootloader to boot back to a clean gpe rom to continue the process. What happens now is the google logo shows up without the padlock icon(locked?) and transitions to the boot animation but it never boots to the welcome screen.
I would not mind going to recovery but i can no longer do so. When choosing recovery through the bootloader menu it boots to black then 30 seconds later there is an icon that has a caution sign in the middle. The design style of the icon is HTC based.
I am doing this with a tmobile variant m8 using the super cid

Somewhere you HAD to have missed something. Many people have gone to and from GPE with these conversions without any problems.
Did you flash the RUU file twice? Maybe retry again from the top.
If you flashed right then I don't think it should show the google logo but instead the stock HTC as you are now on WWE version and not google anymore, so you missed something somewhere.
What does the caution sign in recovery look like? Small phone with red triangle and upside exclamation mark? IF so then that would be the stoc recovery.
But as long as you can get into fastboot still then you can at least retry the guide.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Thank goodness i kept a backup of my gpe. I used HTC One 2014 (M8) All-In-One Toolkit V2.0 yesterday and i was able to reinstall twrp which the led me to eventually restore my backup. It would not restore initially, but i found that twrp has its own built in file manger.
After navigating to the backup in the external sd i copied it to the root of the phone's internal storage under the TWRP folder. After that the backup was able to restore.
I'm posting this in case anyone else has problems like this in the future.

Change Splash Screen (Boot Logo, not Boot Animation)

So I recently unlocked my bootloader and have been having tons of fun installing custom ROMs, recoveries, and doing other fun stuff. Currently, I have a dual-boot situation with hsbadr's CM13 port and Dr. Ketan's ROM. I've changed the boot animation on CM to the default Marshmallow animation, and I'm enjoying it immensely.
The only problem I have with my phone at the moment is the splash screen: the image that shows up before the boot animation, saying something like "GALAXY NOTE 4 -- powered by Android." It's also got the "Custom" overlay on it. I absolutely hate this screen. It's ugly and I kind of want something of my own in its place.
I've researched on how to change the splash screen, learning that it's called the splash screen and not a bootlogo, but I can't seem to find any guides that work for me. There are some very old guides, with non-existent files, and there's a new guide for the Note 4 here, but it doesn't work. The 0p8 file isn't a tarball, and the 0p12 file recommended later in the thread is empty when extracted.
Is there a way to change that screen on the 910V? If so, how? I can't seem to find anything, but it's probably right in front of my face.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this.
