BUGS?:
You tell us

screenies ..few days no bugs yet ..really liking it

Most of the custom os'es are similar and have very little difference. But the one Resurrection Remix is best of all.
Cheers !!! Got a great rom
Thanks @KevMetal :good:

yeah these days most custom roms are aosp + custom boot + custom menu ( tweaks not present in stock )
classics like aicp and rr are pretty good ...i prefer aicp over rr just cos i like the aicp boot logo
aosp extended has surprised me cos its rather cool ...first time for me ..
xenon hd seems to have more elements like adaway and kernel auditor added
aosp extended has all the options rr has but i prefer its aesthetic and it seems more stable to me ...i don't like the sim not found / airplane toggle bug ...it also has a bug when you install apps it hangs ...these problems arent present in aosp extended

pink ? ..jajaja ...sorry not related to rom ...restore with spflashtool using guide ..if it continues to happen your phone has a hardware problem ..screen or loose connection etc

I figured out why fingerprint does not work on custom ROMs...
You must use the ROM Stock without updates, use the SP flash tools to go back to the ROM Stock and when you enter it, do not update, just unlock the bootloader, install the TWRP and flash the custom ROM with the latest GAPPs...
I tested it twice here and in all the two the fingerprint worked without problems... I am using the XT1763 variant, Brazilian version...
I hope this helps some of you who are having problems with fingerprint ...

Hi, I'm in some trouble here...
I use XT1762 w/ Mediatek MT6735 board (checked on CPU-Z), and I'm having some issues with this ROM.
It's very good and stable, thanks for posting it in first place, but sometimes it goes back to the boot screen out of nowhere, I've had the same issue with the unofficial RR 5.8.5, but in AEX It is less frequent than RR. Could you please tell me if this "bug" is because the different CPU, or if it's some other thing? I really like these ported ROMs and I wanna keep using them, thanks by the way

Awesome ROM!
Is there a way to return/finish this project?
Problems: I can't restore Google Apps/Data. Solved using a phone on Gaccount instead of e-mail/username.
Bugs: Fingerprint, LTE (maybe, can't test because the LTE signal's quality).
THANKs!

{Opinion}[[Bugs in lollipop 5.1 Roms]] Custom Roms for Yureka (tomato) reviewed.!!

I have tried all possible custom ROM's for my tomato but none of them are fully stable. Most of them has there own issues. Require a Custom ROM which is at least fully stable and usable. Below is the list of all common issues with lollipop custom ROM's for Yureka .. :-
1. (major issue) capacitive touch buttons can't be disabled completely nd so On-screen nav bar can't be used at its best.
2. Battery drain is another issue with all the custom ROM's..
3. Gapps stopping.. FC occurring during reboots nd sometimes even after reboots.. AOSP crashing...!
4. Camera app is not upto mark in any of available custom ROM's.. Worse performer than stock lollipop..
5. ROM's must provide us with some powerful custom kernel's to give us full control on hardware.. No rom has provided a great kernel which can be used for tweaking...
6. Status bar and notification panel getting f****d up with customization in most of the ROM's..
7. (Most Important in my case) Colors are really dull in most of the ROM's.. Color production is very poor and can be felt while playing games..
If all these issues can be resolved by any ROM developer, for me it will be the perfect ROM... Waiting eagerly for it..
All problems mentioned above are based on the ROM's reviewed by me which are:-
1 SOKP 5.1.1
2 BlissPop rom for tomato
3 Resurrection 5.1
(?I suggest developers to add viper4android as equaliser app and cameraNext modded app as default camera app) ? both are best in their category

Android Open Kang Nougat Version works well. I am using it as my daily driver. Radio also works now in India, VoLTE works. Only video recorder doesn't work. There are few strange audio bugs but better using Nougat which gets new builds almost every day than stay stagnant on lollipop with no official updates.

Difference between the two :
~ Aokp
- Antutu Benchmark is lower than Aicp
- Buzzing sound during boot needs to be stopped manually
- Phone gets over heated on even little usage
- VoLTE is buggy
- Stock file manager does not read SD Card
- Battery drains very fast
~ Aicp
+ Antutu Benchmark score is higher as compared to Aokp
+ Buzzing sound automatically stops after boot
+ Phone does not get over heated quickly
+ Volte works pretty well
+ Stock file manager reads SD card
+ Battery life is better as compared to Aokp
That's all i found between the two, hope this info is enough for you.

After some configurations, i need reinstall AICP when choose custom notifications (dark mode) with Substratum (DNA Theme). The system no more showed home screen (interf. init. error). Only with new clean install this problem disappear.
But... this problem can to be of DNA theme and no of AICP ROM, but this configuration run perfectly on AOKP, however, in ModernUI Theme, exist one configuration (Two Columns in Configuration screen) what only runs how selected in AICP.
In general terms, i liked of AICP and is my new choice for use.
Sorry for my poor english, my language is other.

Interesting ROM. Smooth, very fast, it is interesting to choose additional settings (not many, but the most necessary). App start quickly. Nova Launcher, Phonograph, Substratum. No root, strange but no camera (Snap Camera HDR works super). Good firmware, I think many will like it. But RR is better  (Google translation)

I decided to stay on this ROM for a few days for testing. (Google Translate)
So next week it's gonna be XenonHD.
Finally got to the letter X after about two weeks of flashing almost every AOSP ROM we got.
Man...on your Github thing it's like raining ROMs there. Xenon seems to be right in the middle in terms of custom options. Just enough for me.
It's like LOS but with Substratum and Nova.
On thing I noticed on every ROM is that on startup where you choose language the screen either turns black or sometimes green. You still can choose the languague by tapping the black screen.
Flashed most ROMs with gapps pico 05-20.
Thanks a lot for sharing your work.
Since you're searching for ROMs maybe you haven't heard about ScrewdROM (or ScrewedRom?).

Really like XenonHD. Been using it for the last couple of days and it's running very smooth.
It has Nova launcher, Substratum (which works flawlessly), internal root (but I use MagiskSU 12.0), dt2s on statusbar and lockscreen.
You can turn off the button lights and there is no preinstalled camera app.
Toast symbols work and there also are LED setting. Battery life is great for me.
Thanks for making this work on our device.
Also thanks for the many ROMs on the github page.
After using XenonHD for a week I'm pretty happy with it. Had not a single issue. ROM feels very smooth. Kernel test6 was also running good.
This is a ROM for people who don't need that many custom options. But it has more than Mokee or Octos.
Next I'm gonna try AOSGP from that new Github page, it has a lot of options just like crDroid or RR.
Hard to decide which ROM to use next. From test flashing I also liked Candy, Legend and Liquid.
---------------
@jimmy999x AOSGP has trouble with onboard Pixel launcher which doesn't work (flashed the ROM twice). Onboard Flick launcher does work.
I flashed Nova launcher and after rooting with Magisk Nova was very buggy (flickering and screen reset again and again), so reflashed Nova.
Again same trouble after uninstalling the Pixel launcher and Nova had to be reflashed. And once more after restoring some apps with Tibu.
Now after a day ROM seems very smooth and I will stay on it.
Thanks for the many many ROMs.

Hey, thanks for the update. Did a dirty flash over the last version and it runs great.
Substratum works really fast, Magisk 13.3 works. Spookcity's kernel 3.0 also works.
Battery LED shows when charging with powered off device.
I use the app Android Assistant to show the boot time in a message and here the app icon in the message is colored in the apps color...nice (before only white).
It uses the round icons and could be compared with Liquid ROM in terms of custom options.
Device is now G800 and no F so no certified device, but I don't care.
Thanks for the many ROMS.
BTW Cosmic didn't boot and Carbon showed error 7, am3d is Liquid dark and Emotion looks like AOKP and has some trouble with Substratum crashing also the interfacer crashes.
can we pleas get an update on this rom? i wanted to do it myself, but im new to compiling roms and i didn't get any good results. this is the best rom for s5 mini so far for me, and i tested like all of them. its smooth af, and the personalisation options are perfect, nothing more needed and nothing less

Ideal ROM to have on your Z2 Plus!

Hey there,
I have started using this ROM for a while and the Combination of this ROM and the Kernel is great!
The ROM I am talking is AOSiP. Though this ROM is Unofficial and quite old, the developer i.e. ankit99 {https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4924861} has done a fabulous job in maintaining the stability and functionality of this ROM while keeping Bugs minimum!
The Kernel I am talking about is called Jaguar Kernel. If you are in the development of ZUK Z2 Plus, Jaguar ROM is hard to resist due to its mind blowing stability. This Kernel is derived from the very same ROM. Probably the best Kernel I am working with. Dark Moon and Heliox are great without any doubt, just they never worked great for me on any ROM.
Instructions:
1. Take a Nandroid backup first. In case anything goes wrong, you should have some back point to restore.
2. Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data & System. I recommend deleting Android folder from Internal Storage (sdcard) from TWRP File Manager.
3. Flash the ROM, Gapps (Use 7.1 & 64-bit ones, for Z2 Plus).
4. Flash the Kernel at the last and wipe Cache/Dalvik and reboot!
5. Note, First boot will take some time.
6. Post features, I recommend dpi as 380 to be ideal for Z2 Plus.
Enjoy your Android Experience!

Regarding Fingerprint Scanner, it works simply great! It responds almost 99% of the times and quite fast even more than stock ROM according to my experience. And the fact you say about no notification issue, there is an Option to automatically enable DND during calls in this ROM and it disables immediately after call is hung. So, you should not encounter such issues practically. I am using this ROM for a while now and really in Love with its stability. Go for it!:good:
I have attached a screen shot regarding the Auto DND during call option.

No man, as long I have used custom ROMs, this feature is toggleable in this ROM itself!
Im running PureFusionOS + Jaguar Kernel for about 2 months now, and the feature set + stability from it is perfect. I would wish that PureFusion could have better performance/battery efficiency though
I've justobought this phone. Do you recommend me to flash this rom+Kernel as my first daily driver? Or should I go with aex4.5?

I would recommend this ROM for your daily driver as it is a mix balanced performance and battery life, providing almost stock Android with lots of customizations! Also, a MIUI camera flash would be the icing on the cake.:good:

I installed this rom yesterday and it works perfectly but I'm experimenting a huge bug: it charges extremely slowly and the phone and the charger both get very hot. I'm on aosip+jaguar december version

How is the audio clarity and quality when compared to the stock ROM? I have stopped flashing any custom ROMs - be it Oreo or Pie just because of this issue. Also, could you please share the full camera version that you are currently using - is that without the Portrait mode? Also, how much screen-on time are you getting?
Hello there... this post got my interest too. I have jumped back and forth between stock and custom. It is sad "for me" that it seems most devs have given up on supporting / maintaining Oreo 8.1. Everyone is trying to iron out the bugs in a Pie custom... however, I simply want the stability to be there... especially with the camera features and battery life. I am not a gamer either, btw. With all of that said, I have a question or two please.
1. Why did you quote using an older version of Magisk? Is there a compatibility thing that I should be aware of?
2. With the Gcam mod you referenced, does stability work smoothly while recording video? I have found that in many custom builds the stability mode can be jerky and no too smooth.
TIA
