No you cant flash wrong rom bro

No you cant flash cuz,
J23g(j200h) = Spreadtrum SC8830 processor
J2(lte) = exynos 3475 processor

No both are same processors

Then, explain what is shown on the pictures Attached below, the j2(3G) and LTE(4G) have a different processors because they have different integrated modems. The chips are tied to cellular technology and spectrum use in different countries. Based on Carrier and Region requirements.

[Q] N5105

Hi,
In my country, only N5105 is being sold. I think this is the 3g+LTE model. But I can't see anything about it on the forum.
Does anyone have any info about it ?
For example, can I install N5100 firmware on it ?
also, this one does not have a phone application. Does N5100 have phone app ?

If im not wrong, these are the devices:
N5100: 3G + WIFI (with support for calling / sms)
N5105: 3G + WIFI {without support for calling / sms)
So, you should be good with flashing a N5100 ROM, its the same case with the N8000 and N8005. But I cant confirm anything.
I believe it's a little different than N8000 and N8005 because in N5100 and N5105 case N5105 is a LTE device.
so the hardware is different.
am I wrong ?
does the n5100 have phone app ?

i forgot about the LTE part, sorry about that, in that case I dont think you can, if you do, LTE may not work. The N5105 seems to be a merge of the N5100 and N5120
In Turkey there's no LTE network. so I can sacrifice that feature, if I'll get phone

Wellm if you really want to try it out. Just flash a N5100 ROM via the PDA and not the one in which you have to select everything including pit etc, also make sure there's no bootloader in there, just in case.
wait. you mean I should only flash PDA ? no modem etc. ?
are the ones in Sammobile qualify for that ?
Keep a backup firmware of the N5105, as said previously, make sure there's no boot loader in the one your flashing. You can flash the Odin ROMs in the development section of the N5100
thanks. I've learnt that I have to install baseband from N5100 as well. How can I get that ?
Does the rom include it ?

That your gonna get from sammobile. Did the flash work?
I didn't try yet. Which one is the baseband ?
Btw, N5120 seems to be a LTE model.
So I think I should use a N5120 firmware instead of N5100.
Am I wrong ?

I think the N5120 is LTE + Wifi and doesn't support 3G.
well, according to the specs at pdadb they all support 3G , but 5105 qand 5120 also have addtional LTE hardware:
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer&id1=4141&id2=4260&id3=4462
am I still wrong ?
how did you find out N5120 doesn't have 3G ?

Well its a guess as I wouldn't understand why Sammy would have 2 of the same tablets with different models numbers
N5105 does not have phone features. I guess it is only for Turkey. As the tax differs in Turkey if the device is a PHoNE.
Of course i am not sure. And i don't know what to do.
is there anyone with N5120 ?
If yes,
- does it have 3G ?
- does it have phone app ?
Serious, do you really really really need to make phone calls on this 8 inch phone? It looks very big.
ok; let me tell you the situation and you decide;
I have 2 mobile lines from 2 operators.
one line is used commonly and it is in my S3.
the other one is mostly not used. Just few old friends call it.
I will put this line on the Note 8.0 and answer calls (if any) from that device. Otherwise I have to carry another phone.
you see ?

Can u check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051590
But i would say go through the thread completely before proceeding.. do it at your own risk.. all the best
Specs for LU6200: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_optimus_lte_lu6200-4188.php
It looks to be a cdma phone and the phone's frequency bands aren't supported by AT&T: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_frequencies#United_States_Carrier_Frequency_Use
may be this will help

i have a sprint ls980 in india , im running 2faced rom and have rooted and unlocked it..
You'll brick your phone flashing firmware meant for another version of the phone. You can only use firmware specifically made for this device.

i want to know why the phone gets bricked when we flash some other version's firmware , is it some deep hidden hardware difference as gsmarena.com says specs are same only names are different (and possibly the firmware ).
is there a work around.
because in ideal case if hardware is same then software can be of any version.

"Specs" are the same but the actual settings/hardware used is different. VERY different. Everything is region specific and carrier specific. That is why.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LG_G2#Model_variants
Here you'll see clearer why they are so different.

so it means if we have the original kernal then other rom's can be flashed , in this case if LS980 have original kernal then D082 rom can be flashed .
Did you try it?

Samsung J610F or J610FN - Differences?

Hi
I have just purchased a J6+ for my wife, my model is a J610F/DS.
Does anybody know what the difference is between the J610F and J610FN versions? When I have been looking up stock rom there are 2 different versions but the specs don't seem different, just the regions they are manufactured in.
Has anyone tried flashing F firmware on a FN or vice versa?
Thank you.

Someone explained elsewhere, the chip is locked not the firmware.
Lonovo or some other oem wanted to run 870 chips overclocked instead of paying premium for 888 chips for the flagship lineup or something. They quickly locked the chip following that.
So even if you do flash kernel I doubt it will work , maybe it will idk.
Yeah I know the odds are very slim a minute chance aha
