Verizon September OTA - Moto Z2 Force Questions & Answers

Does anyone have or know how to get a Verizon's September OTA update file? Specifically I am interested in the baseband and modem patch, which enables LTE Band 46 (License Assisted Access).
This particular frequency band is also being used on T-Mobile, and I'd love to extract, analyze and potentially enable it for T-Mobile ROMs.
Thanks

Frequency bands

I own the HTC One M8 16Go gold Asian version, phone is rooted with ElementalX kernel but stock rom. My phone works with 700 (b28)/900 (b8)/1800 (b3)/2100 (b1)/26000 (b7). I had the TW Mobile carrier in Taiwan. I want to add frequency bands to enable 4G LTE in Canada. Most carriers work with 1700/2100 (b4).
So how to add these frequency bands?
You need s-off ($25 by sunshine app) to change radio baseband (which changes band support).
You can flash AT&T or T-Mob US firmware to change to the corresponding baseband (both support Band 4 LTE). Or the correct Canadian carrier version's firmware; if you want to, and can find it (ATT and T-Mob are probably easier to find).
But you should also verify what bands your carrier uses for 3G, and that the new baseband supports it.
In my experience, AT&T has past or current associations with some of the Canadian carriers (still has partial ownership in some); and the networks share a lot of similarities. So AT&T firmware may be the best bet.
I installed Sunshine app but can't perform any test because it says Xposed Framework has been detected. I delete it but still the same error.

Try to restore the stock ROM, then root and run sunshine.
One thing to keep in mind, its not guaranteed that you will have LTE even with the proper baseband radio firmware. I've seen a number of folks that were not able to get LTE, even after s-off and flashing the proper radio firmware (that supports their carrier's LTE band). Don't know the reason for this, and never saw a solution. But just want you to be aware, in the event you spend the $25 on sunshine, and still can't get LTE.
But the fact that the Canadian networks seem to be very similar to AT&T, leads me to think the AT&T baseband radio will work for you. Not based on any specific/exact experience, just a hunch. So don't come and yell at me, if it doesn't work!

Lumina 640XL debranding and suggested T-Mobile firmware for Chicago

Looking for suggestions relating to best T-Mobile firmware to use on a Lumina 640 XL (one SIM) in Chicago.
Currently 640XL's are on AT&T firmware and cannot change phone options using Calls+.
Any suggestions?

Is calls+ an app? There is no T-Mobile firmware for the 640 XL. There is a 640 LTE TMO-US fw but if you end up flashing it you will have issue booting your phone.
I have a couple AT&T variants (RM-1063) and what I do is just replace the NVI files and ADC files and update the nvi and modem configuration with thor2. After that all the bands are there along with VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling.
Thank you Nate0

Newest Mobile Windows 10 moved the forwarding of calls and other SIM stuff over to Calls +

Yes here have two Windows 10 Lumina 640 XL's with single SIM slots and RM-1063 on them.
VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling is not present on my phones at this time.
I have not touched / modded my phones in a few years now.
I have read about updating the firmware.
How do I replace the NVI and ADC files?
How do I update the NVI and modem configuration with thor2?
Can I edit the configuration such that it doesn't update from ATT?
Looking at the RM1063 firmware files I see:

OK so I enabled band 12 on my AT&T Phones here but still do not see the registration stuff nor options to use VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling. My SIM card also shows up as SIM1 and show a communications error when I try to forward the phone. Putting the SIM card in my old unlocked Windows phone I can forward the phone (Windows Mobile 8).
I am guessing you modded / tweaked the AT&T 1063 ROM a bit using the MS dev package stuff.
I am aware that really nobody cares much about the Lumina 640XL these days and that is probably why I got such a good deal on them.
I am though thinking that many folks have purchased these AT&T phones over the last few months.

Got a G3121 from Europe but it is incompatible with FreedomMobile in Canada

Got a unlocked G3121 from Europe but it's incompatible with FreedomMobile in Canada.
For the US I see there's a model G3123
The US model has extra
3G - 1700(AWS)
4G bands - 4, 12, 13, 17, 28, 29 and 66
Would I be able to flash a G3123 over this one without brick-ing it?
Really appreciate it!
Thnaks
Tried with no luck - now device identifies as G3123 - still missing radios
I downloaded a few G3123 ftf's unpacked them, changed the device info in meta-inf and flashed them but it seems the images I got do not come with the baseband files.
After successfully flashing the re-packed ftf's the listed LTE bands are the same as for the G3121 (Europe)
Can anyone point me to a compatible baseband for this device that has the 4, 13 and 66 4G radio bands?
Thanks

S20 Wireless Bands and Firmware

Sorry newbie here.
Do all US s20 variants (Verizon, ATT, Sprint, Tmobile) the same hardware to access all cellular bands if the correct firmware is installed?
For example.... If I had a ATT s20 and flashed the firmware to Sprint would I be able to access all of the bands required for Sprint like CDMA?
Thanks!
