[Q] A long shot I know...can anyone help with a copy of a specific ROM for the Bravo? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I would really like to get hold of a working Download link for this custom ROM - [ROM][AOSP]dGB v01_28_2012| 2.3.5| 375MB /data| 60MB /system for the HTC Desire Bravo along with the additional downloads linked to the ROM as listed on their website:
https : // sites . google . com / site / dgbbravo / homesite
for my HTC Desire Bravo (namely kernel, hboot & apps etc). I've scoured the net and tried all the links but none of them appear to work any longer.
Ive recently aquired the phone and have been trying out lots of custom roms etc, but have decided the best for this phone is a small rom thats stable and reliable. This one seems to fit the bill judging by the feedback ive seen. I intend to give the phone to my young daughter.
If anyone is able to guide me in the right direction it really would be much appreciated.
Nick
Ps The device is currently S-Off | 4 Ext Touch Recovery | AlphaRev Jellybean HBoot

thanks for that is there one in particular you would recomend over the others ?
Asking me to recommend you one ROM over other is like asking me to recommend you my favourite color.
It depends on your preferences, but I "guess" a more suitable rom for you would be AuraxT or RCMix.
You should know, that although recently snq- (a developer here) managed to get the camera working on the HD ROM ports to the desire, there still isn't a release that has implemented his fix.
So right now you won't be able to take photos.

[Q] Jargon Buster

I'm new at these forums, I came here for tips & advice to learn how to get rid of all the T-Mobile branding from my HTC Desire HD. With no technical experience of such devices (other than standard use) I soon found out there was a lot to learn.
The purpose of this thread is to get as much information for myself (and other newbies) to learn about the technical terms used, all in one place.
Would anybody be so kind as to offer plain English explanations of the following words/phrases.
Although I have a little understanding of some of these words/phrases, I have had trouble in the past so I am listing them for the benefit of others;
S-OFF/S-ON
HBOOT
ENG
Root
Flash
ROM
Radio
ClockWorkMod
CyanogenMod
RUU
BootLoader
Kernal version
Build number
Superuser
I think this is all for now. If you are also a newbie, feel free to post more related Jargon here to help build an all-in-one jargon busting thread!
I am my no means an expert but will try and help as much as I can.
S-OFF/S-ON - Security On/Off, this is to do with being able to write to protected parts of the device memory.
ENG <----This is the custom HBOOT that is part of the security work around ^^
ROM - Read Only Memory, usually this is the operating system that you are installing, eg LeeDroid or CyanogenMod.
Radio - Is the software used to link the hardware to the operating system.
ClockWorkMod - A custom recovery image that is used to install new roms, also allows you to do backups of the existing rom (operating system) before upgrading or patching.
CyanogenMod - A team of people developing an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) rom. It has no "sense" from HTC and is very minimalistic, usually very fast and stable.
RUU - (ROM Update Utility) The stock rom installer, use the correct one to return your phone to stock, usually used for returning to the manufacturer.
Build number - The version of the software you are looking at, usually it is in chronological order.
I have not answering the one's I know nothing about, better to wait for someone with more knowledge to come along. I may not be 100% correct, I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
Good luck.

Thanks Blinky!
On another thread CitizenLee pointed me to a website that contains a lot of the jargon and their descriptions! I found this unbelievably helpful. Here it is guys;

Very nice site, have bookmarked that myself, cheers.

[Q] Rooting an AT&T Branded DHD

Got a DHD from Target Mobile, and proceeded to install apps, and such. Then I remembered AT&T doesn't let you download apps from other sources, so no Amazon App store or downloading Live Wallpapers. Looking to root my DHD now.
Currently out of box from today with:
Android Verision - 2.2.1
Kernel Version - 2.6.32.21
Build Number - 1.84.502.11
Software Number - 1.84.502.11
I searched the forums for about ten minutes and found nothing containing anything useful for my current situation. Can someone please point me in the direction of a rooting guide that should work? Thanks in advance!
If your DHD is AT&T branded you must have an Inspire 4G. Go over to the Inspire section for more help, there you will find a program that will do everything for you Root, S-off Etc.

[Q] support in last HTC Gngerbread RUU & Best solution

hi guy's
thanks for your effort here, i have 2 questions:
1-i would like to install new HTC GB RUU, but the problem is arabic language is not supported this time from HTC, when i contact htc they give me some advices to download some app from market (which can help me in some app like browser, sms,) but Facebook and email service cant be replaced..?? so my question is there any way to include arabic language to the last GB upgrade..??
2- in case i can't add arabic to HTC update, can someone advice me which ROM can be simmler to HTC ROM (GB) i mean classic ROM without tweaks, additional app, i just want something basic...
my device is not rooted..
Before you rush off and update to gingerbread with the new RUU you should do some research. The new update comes with an updated bootloader, meaning it cannot yet be rooted or S-OFF'd. There have been many complaints about phones being soft-bricked after the update also (stuck in HTC screen, phone not booting, no recovery, not able to use fastboot as they are S-ON [you'll learn about what all that means in due time] ), as as of yet, there was no way to fix them.
If you want something similar to the new GB, there I believe is a ROM which is based on the actual official GB that has been released, for sense 2.1, I would try RCMix, it gave decent performance and had very little or no bugs that I can remember.

[Q] Fast & Stable Htc Desire Cdma rom?

So I've been messing with custom roms for a while I have flashed over 200 of them onto numerous phones. Because of XDA i have learned so so much about Roms and Android. I just learned how to S-OFF my old Htc Desire CDMA and I need help finding Roms that are good for the following:
Use This Checklist:
[]Stable
[]Wifi works (I have no cell data on it)
[]Camera Works(Don't Need Video)
[]Fast
[]No Sense UI(Optional)
Please don't suggest MIUI for no matter which phone or which build i have put on any phone it is always slow for me.
Also! could someone show me to a link or a how to extend the memory of the phone so I can install more than 300Mb of apps?
