AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. been using it since the post came up yesterday.. and im SO glad to finally have found an ASOP Rom that works.. its fast.. smooth and so far has excellent battery life. havent experienced any over heating. will report if i find any bugs as i put it through the paces. thank you guys for assembling such an awesome Rom. Hope to see more collaboration by such a talented team.

Nice I may test does this have any audio issues at all? Just curious? Also what about app restore from playstore backups?

Using this rom now too and I have to say, this is the best port I've used, no heating, no battery issues, all apps work great, music sounds good, (doesn't say it is) fast charging works. So far I'm loving will report back if I find anything

How did you get Snapchat to work ? I can't login due to root tried many things however ROM is amazing but the Snapchat issue is downfall for me but its liveable

Well I have a titanium backup of snapchhat which I took on stock so i just use that and it doesn't log you out

hello, first of all, i'd like to tell how i appreciate the fact the you made an AOSP rom for the S7 exynos variant, i understand that the development on this platform is hard, but i just want to know which GAPPS should i get ? the 7.0 or 7.1 ? and whats the difference between dynamic GAPPS and open GAPPS ? thank you for your work

audio problem in play any mp3 audio file.. other all feature are working .. nice... & NO... VoLTE...

Login to snapchat from browser, then install app, then open it. It should work

This long period of inactivity is caused by changing LG G4 with another smartphone: first iPhone SE and then Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred).

Not having an h811, I can not test it. Also I do not have a fast internet connection and uploading two builds in one would take me hours. I will see in the future if I can.

If you mean XDA, yes. It's the first ROM I build for my phone. I've got the G4 for a year and recently I wanted to try AEX. Thanks to DD3Boh, I succeeded in intent and wanted to share the work with you. Sorry if I wrote the message badly

its aosp based mate. any aosp rom has the same appearence until each user modify it the way he wants it.

The build has already been uploaded (after hours) on AFH and can be downloaded on the thread, but it is not tested by me! That's because I have a h815, not h811. So I ask you with h811 to verify that the ROM works and that there are no bugs, skipping those in the thread. Remember to make a logcat!

mate , editing project doesn't give that option.
but hit edit below and go to advanced. there you can add attachments. Also you can use the
code for bigger attachments
open a photo you want , in a new tab, take the link and paste it in the tag.
Though, aosp is the same as always guys ! Aosp is aosp, without our personal settings they all look the same

Slim has not many features, it's more simple and clean, pure Android experience
AOSP Extended has a lot of features (As you can read on the post)

Flashed it twice. Faced a problem both times. Problem is, during setup when I connect it to wifi and it starts to check for update it gets stuck right there. Just keeps checking for update and nothing more happens. Tried with cellular, same problem. My wifi works fine with other devices. I don't understand the problem. Maybe I should use a different Gapps? I used pico.

Flash rom first, do the first boot setup.. Then when you get to the launcher restart to recovery and flash gapps

You can use Magisk (I recommend it) or SuperSU, just flash the zip via TWRP and your device will be rooted

Will this ROM work on m919?

10/10. No bugs, no lags, buttery smooth (much faster than TW lollipop).
I'd suggest flashing with Nano GApps as I had trouble during first setup when using pico..
It's an unrooted rom, however Magisk v15.2 roots flawlessly...
Built-in equalizer has a tendency to fc, however I uninstalled it and using V4A now..

Krizthian, can we use any Substratum theme? Will I need Sungstratum addon? Apparently samsung devices can't safely use all SS themes

You can try, I'm not a Substratum fan so I don't know if it will work because I haven't tried it

So EAS finally comeback to our device, although is EAS not battery friendly due to this being early builds or EAS just doesn't work well on our phone? Because it's supposed to be a better battery/performance balance right?

The ROM feels smooth so far. Initially I had a lot of heating 100 degree on CPU. I suggest you look into your thermal configs since sun cooling fixed that. The battery drain seems to be related to that as well. Currently I get battery life comparable to HMP kernels.

As I remember purpose of EAS bring smooth and battery friendly to us compare to hmp?

Flashed the rom just an hour ago! Main thing or issue is heating!!! I was over 60°C on normal usage !! Very smooth though! Great work please keep developing eas for z2 ..... Thank you

Sorry but after using it for 2 days i changed the rom!!
