I haven't been porting it, just enabling it. I don't know if your phone is capable but you are welcome to try flashing this this.
Edit:. Here is a stab at the animated pixel navbar if anyone is interested in trying it to see if it works and 3Minit battery
Edit:. Remember to install 3minit app before flashing 3minit zip!

anyone tried?

How should I flash the zip?? I have flashfire installed & if the night mode it enabled have you created any switch to toggle on & off??

Should work with flashfire or TWRP. No toggle other than the one in the qs toggles.

So the toggle will be there in QS right... Let me try flashing it now.

Flashed it via FLASHFIRE can't find any night light switch in the QS neither the option to enable or disable it.

Look in display, in settings...you might need systemui tuner activated...and BusyBox installed prior to flashing

1. Checked that the system ui tuner was enabled.
2. Installed busybox via Google play store & made it run smart install. Restarted the phone.
So now after these 2 steps I have to flash your zip file for night mode to be enabled. But can you explain me 1 or 2 more steps so that I don't keep you busy.

I'm the one keeping you busy at the moment, lol. Maybe flashfire is the problem. I don't have your phone and cannot test. See if there is a folder called ozop on your sdcard. If there is at least we know it installed. Here is a systemui.apk that should have full systemui tuner.

Anyone using trwp try any of these?

Yup we do have OZOP folder in which ozop_restore.zip is there

Okay, that is a restore zip that is created after flashing. If you care to, flash the full systemui tuner and see if you have navbar and remove brightness options in tuner.

I will tell you what..I am gonna flash back to stock ROM today 1st & then root it. Please give me the correct steps to check all the things you require me to have before hand. Apps such as flashfire will be there. Should I download busybox from playstore ?? N I did try flashing the system ui tuner. I don't see any changes in the setting of the UI tab.

Before you do anything like that, I based this off of a system dump n2g47h.7.10.14. just so you know. TWRP would be better than flashfire, and flash the BusyBox I uploaded, not anything from playstore.
Systemui tuner should be easiest but for sure you should see something different you you flash the pixel animation. Just flash one at a time so you can flash the restore zip if there is a problem. Doesn't always work, but usually. After flashing full tuner and/or pixel animation, pull your systemui.apk and upload it so I can see if it was applied.
The thing is, this is very similar to my Nexus 5x when it was on 7.1.2. These went through my Aroma installer generator without much a a hitch. Just not sure why nothing is working.
Edit:. Flashfire doesn't work. Someone with TWRP needs to try these.

What were your steps?

It worked! Used files provided by @jimmy123322 . I'm sure mod from @Tulsadiver will also work. But there is some problem with flashing. Files don't flash using twrp. So I manually pushed framework-res.apk to respective folder. Here's what I did
1-Installed fx and fx root apps from play store.
2-Downloaded zip provided by @jimmy123322 .
3-extracted framework-res.apk using fx.
4-Copied framework-res.apk to framework folder (but did not overwrite).
5-renamed framework-res(1).apk to original name.
6-Rebooted
And night light is working! Thanks to everyone for helping.

The xposed framework comes with no modules. After installing the framework, you would then get module APK's (from wherever) and install them. Then you'd have to go into Xposed to enable those modules. Check the modules you grabbed and disable them (then reboot) to see if it brings your nav bar back.

If you don't have a backup, the faster way is to put yourself in flash Mode and flash a new ftf file with flashtool.
But you will loose everything on your phone.

Magisk on Verizon Note 4

Hello everyone,
As I'm sure everyone knows, Niantic has blocked rooted phones from playing with the most current update 0.37. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to find a ROM that will work on our phones and we can install magisk to be able to play with the latest update. If not, is there any other possible solution to play with the use of magisk or without giving up root completely. I'm currently running PaulPizz and have not tried any of the possible methods I have found from fear of losing root permanently. I'm open to any suggestions or ideas.
Thank you.
Try going to the Samsung Note 4 international section.. I just flashed a Note 7 port to my wife's phone and it rocks..
Could you possibly link to which one? Is it this one? Xerrum525 N7 FullFramework PortedRom for SM-N910C / SM-N910H
Also did you use magisk with it to use pokemon go?

I'd like to know too.
What I did was install PaulPizz. Once it finished I deleted the SuperSU folder via TWRP.
It booted up fine, I still had the SU app in my drawer, I did full unroot via SU. I then flashed the uninstall for Xposed and now I can play pogo.
I Haven't been able to get Magisk to work... I get unable to detect boot image. I'm unrooted for now on PaulPizz and can play PoGo 0.37

I downloaded an older version of the app from http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/niantic-inc/pokemon-go/.
I uninstalled the new version. Reinstalled the older. Ran fine. I've heard they'll force an update sooner or later but its good for now.
I also made sure to turn off auto app updated in settings.
I did find a solution using PaulPizz and magisk. It relatively follows most other tutorials. Plus I found a way to toggle magisk with tasker, if anyone is interested. I'll post a step by step tomorrow or possibly later tonight. Sorry to make everyone wait.
So this is how I got it work with PaulPizz ROM for Verizon Note 4 retail converted to Dev edition.
I take no credit for the creation of the files required for this install, but I kind of muttled my way through this installation and got the files from different posts so credit is to go to the creators of these files, I am just redistributing. If someone feels the need to take credit for these please feel free to let me know.
Make sure to download all apks and zips before and place on sd card before hand to save time. I have also included the uninstaller for magisk version of xposed if you would like, do not use this one during the installation of magisk to remove xposed though.
Only flash xposed and install apk if you still want xposed, if not you can skip those files.
1. Do a full backup of phone using TWRP
2. Go into SuperSU settings and do full unroot
3. Reboot into recovery and mount system partion
4. Go to advanced in recovery and select File explorer
5. Navigate to system and delete .supersu file
6. Flash xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm.zip and reboot system
7. Install pokemon go 0.37 and make sure it works at this point
8. Reboot into recovery again and flash Magisk-v6.zip, 1473968610260_phh-superuser-17-magisk.zip, and 1473980489208_xposed-v86.5-arm-alt-sdk23-topjohnwu.zip
9. Clear dalvik and cache and reboot system
10. After apps optimize install Magisk manager and Xposed Installer
11. Reboot and enjoy playing the new update. Just use Magisk Manager to turn root on/off at will before or after playing.
I'm going to create the tasker profile tomorrow and post instruction on that once completed to automatically activate Magisk when opening pokemon go.
If there are any questions, I will do my best to answer.

When are you getting that, when you flash the zip or install the apk? I'm guessing that's when you flash the included Magisk_6.zip. You are rooted using the retail to dev on an N910V model? I would maybe backup your current system and restore from before you unrooted and try again possibly.

Thanks again, it looks like the only difference was that I was on CPF3.r-2.
I tried going back to CPD1 and still no luck.
I appreciate you letting me know.
I used the Kyubi rom and uninstalled root with supersu and installed all of the magisk stuff and it works like a charm. All of the xposed modules work good too with the system less xposed. It takes a while to boot up after flashing magisk and clearing cache but worth it. The buddy system is pretty cool lol
Anyone else only able to MAYBE play on WiFi?

Well I have magisk installed but I dont know if the xposed went through entirely it says it flashed ok but according to the installer I don't have xposed installed? What's going on did I do something wrong
Did you remove the old xposed app after the flag and install the new xposed apk also? I think mine did the same, because I forgot to also install the xposed app after flashing the systemless xposed framework.
I was able to full unroot, delete the super su file in twrp. when I flash the Xposed uninstaller it removes the framework but leaves the APk in a form that I can't delete.
If I flash magisk and all the other stuff it goes through fine, but when I try to toggle root off in magisk it turns itself back on within a few seconds. I'm assuming this is because i didn't get Xposed all the way off?
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help.
Magisk will refuse to unroot while xposed is still there in the system form. Even a piece of it.
Well now I got Xposed off using tibu before I unroot. Everything installed, systemless Xposed registered as being active, but when I try to toggle root in magisk I get the same thing with it turning itself back on. If I try to request root privileges from an app I am told i have no root.
Ideas?

I am on 3.5.5 and Stock TWRP Recovery.
I dont want to install it via apk as Google now is not working there.
Thank you so much
Use search
I wouldnt have asked if I hadnt searched and tryed flashing some zips before, Sherlock. So either contribute something or ignore this thread.
Maybe there is someone who has 3.5.5 and a flashed Pixel Launcher with working Google Now running?
i was looking for the same, and also didnt get a clear awnser.
Just simply download the .apk, install it. Reboot in recovery (TWRP), mount the system and with the file manager, move /data/app/com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher to /system/app
Thanks Elpatii. Tried that, unfortunately when I try to move or copy it I get an "process ended with Error: 1" error Did you get it working with that method? Are you rooted?
It seems like system partition is completely locked in CB 3.5.5
Funny thing is I also flashed the Google Dialer from this thread and it writes itself into system partition:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/guide-how-to-install-google-dialer-phone-t3443006
I dont know for sure but the dialer zip mounts and unmounts the system partition by itself during flash. I never found a Pixel Launcher zip that does that. Maybe thats the reason?

This works fine for me. I downloaded the latest APK from APK Mirror, installed it, then using Root Explorer moved it to /system/app. I rebooted and the Google Now swipe works. I'm on 3.5.5 and it goes without saying I'm also rooted
This must work, modded one with transparent dock on 6.0.1, flash it through TWRP
mhhh I tried flashing SuperSu binaries but it didnt make any changes to my system just like the Pixel Launcher zip. Like the flash itself goes well but nothing changes. Neither I get root nor the pixel launcher. 3.5.5 behaving so strange...
I already tried clean flash the phone and using modified 3.02-22
@Tikerz which TWRP are you using at the moment?

I'm on the lastest -22 TWRP. I just clean flashed 3.5.5. yesterday with SuperSU SR2. Are you sure SuperSU flashed ok? As long as you have root you should be able to just install the APK and move it to /system/app using Root Explorer or other file manager.
Got it working guys. And here is how:
At first I flashed TWRP 3.0.2-22 like @Tikerz said. I deleted SwiftKey in the system app section (basically I just wanted to try if can do anything in system section). I now can move Pixel launcher folder to system/apps. I think because the deleted SwiftKey app gave me some reserved space in the system section. And, flashing it with TWRP also works now!
Thank you all so much for your ideas and hints, I am very happy now with my Pixel experience
@Darkje Have you also found a solution?
@airflyer737, Yeah m8 flashed the zip and All ok.
Now i need the dpi smaller All is really Big ?

on every cm13 rom and cm14 rom it is compatible for me. i use this launcher for weeks now.
Does slide to google now work on the play store version??
So just flashing the zip is enough ? No need to install the apk ?
Anyone has the new update?

Can someone please explain what this file is? Is it an app or a wallpaper or a root?

Superuser mod is a modification to the Java framework in the phone, which enables you to apply changes that would otherwise require a signature verification check,. So, the theme applied in the screen shot, would not apply properly to a device without Superuser mod.
As far as the specifics of this particular file and device, it's been so long that I don't really remember it...
