My 2 cents:
- update from StoneTrapper's RR 5.8.4 without Data Wipe --> UI forced stops, again and again.. impossible to use the rom.. And also impossible to return to the StoneTrapper's one because there was an infinite boot (with RR logo)
- Total Wipe (system+cache+data+dalvik) --> all ok!
Fingerprint to unlock: ok
Fingerprint to home: ok
Double tap to wake: NO
@Psy_Man do you suggest this kernel or the Psychedelic? I'd like a smooth smartphone but also a great SoT..

You need to get magisk 14 or newer, search for permissive script for magisk on google and install it and then install viper4android from magisk or take a zip and install it by recovery.

i'm still on stock oos (bootloader unlocked, no custom recovery and root yet).
My only (big) concern in flashing a custom rom is the camera...
how is the RR one working, compared to OOS?
Testing now and it seems to be running hotter than normal...is there an underclock.zip for this ROM?

thank you and don't worry the next build will fix the slider
Having an issue with turning the flash off in the camera...it just force closes if I tint the flash off. Here's the log info. Can't wait for the tiny bugs to get squashed. There aren't many. I miss the themes and slimrecents but that's not a big deal. Omni switch works fine. Everything send fine tho...a tad less signal then stock tho..Idk why..no carrier aggregation or it's not using the right bands....stock wasn't using the right bands either I don't think on T-Mobile. I only got 20 down 4 up.

It's one of the most deeply customisable & stable Nougat ROM available for Moto X Play. I used to face data disconnection issues when screen is locked. Later on I tried bean gapps and since then I didn't face that issue. Battery life is just ok, around 4 to 5 hrs SOT on normal use.

This ROM is very good, but it is consuming the battery very quickly. I was able to solve this problem by installing optmus kernel R22.1.
In the weather panel, both the lock screen and the widget can not get location, omnijewls does not request location.

They work fine for me. You must not have it set up properly.

I wanted to install this rom. But when i start my device in recovery it says me "no command".
Well i've root my phone (again) and it's a failure when i put my unlock key.
So here's my thoughts, may be i've to downgrade my phone. It's a XT1562 (EU). Before i was on a rom custom (Resurrection remix). Anf after that, i just install a stock rom. But there've been an update to 6.0.1.
Since, when i restart my phone in fastboot mode there is a line : ap fastboot flash mode secure
That's means i cant instal rom custom, ever??

Did u logged in to system recovery or twrp recovery? If there is no command error in system recovery, just press power button and volume up key. U'll get further options.

Go to recovery. Press and hold power button, then press volume up key. U must get further options. It worked for me always.
Well. When i 'm on recovery system i can choose different options aller of then reboot and start m'y device.

Hey, I don't have a WiFi since some.week so I don't have try this rom and I have a doubt that this rom already have gapps

First of, thanks for the thread!
I'm thinking about flashing a new ROM on my mini with android 7.x and i am little worried about Mokee ROM so i have choosen RR instead.
Does ResurrectionRemix has integrated updates like CyanogenMod had back then? Security pach updates is what i am curious about mainly.
With an official maintener yes, but actually we have a maintener not official so no integrate updates.
I'm on this ROM, and I'm a little bit disappointed, kernel is not perfect at all, but rom is working, everything is working... Mokee is maybe better same if it's the same dev honestly

- Kernel is not perfect - what do you mean? You tried Mokee's also?
I didn't try Mokee yet. The SOC is under exploited, we could have better performance !

Is this under exloited operation reduces battery life or effects everyday use crucially?

I've heard that charging is greatly effected by RR negatively. Is it true in your case?
Unfortunately, I don't stay enough to answer (I've try 2.06 and make a mod 2.06 since) so I can't answer to, but mokee should be better and I will speak about kernel parameters on a new subject here soon
I have tried RR and Mokee's ROM as well. In my opinion Mokee's happened to be more sophisticated then RR. RR has some Chinese apps some bloatware like apps I hate so much for example.
All in all I would stay with Mokee's ROM for now.
Open gapps keeps the Play services crashing hence, the other apps keep on crashing

If you don't wipe internal storage before installation then yes you can. :fingers-crossed:
Jordandroid64 do you know something about reducing battery usage on Mokee ROM?
It has considerably reduced battery life compared to Nubia ROM.
Someone please help. Gapps keep crashing, after first boot. Which one did you guys used? They crash even on mokee.

After fresh install of Mokee ROM i have installed gapps (nano) through TWRP. It works for me perfectly.
IMPORTANT: download gapps suited for your hardware and software.
If you have such custom recovery you may want to try wipe data. If no result, then download gapps again and replace the crashing one.

Awesome guys! Thank you Team Resurrection Remix! The last RR-Rom was on my SGS2 and i was relly happy with it. But thats a reason now to come back to RR from LOS, since there is no LOS for the MiMix2 yet.
I'll give it a try tomorrow, because my 72 hours waitingtime, to get my bootloader unlocked, will end then.
OMG finally a stock rom for Mi MIX 2. You guys are the best!
BT audio dont work. Probably fixed in next release. Otherwise its proxi sensor not working but i think they need sources for that.

Unfortunately, this build of RR is still using the old mokee kernel from 10/11
Thanks for this port! Just curious how this is different from Mokee? Can you add the date to the top status bar on this? I know it says you can in the op but not sure if it was tested. Can you really change the clear all button in recents menu to the bottom right? Thanks

You're right! It seems to pass. Although neither Netflix nor the bank apps I need work, oddly enough.
Any idea why this doesn't work for mokee?
Just bought a Mi Mix 2 after enjoying a MI 5s for two weeks

Under the settings of mods. Under navigation you can reassign action for the buttons.
