Standard notification icons - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Questions & Answers

Hi, is it possible to show standard notification icons on the status bar instead if the mini versions of the app icon itself?
This a bit annoying where an app is capable of showing different notifications but MIUI only shows one type of an icon instead the standard ones that a stock android would show.
Thank you.

[Q] Widgetsoid2.x notification bar widget position problem

Widgetsoid2.x notification bar widget position problem
I created an notification bar widget for Wifi, BT toggle, etc
But, I found that the widget always placed under all other notification items
Is there any setting missed in my Widgetsoid?
e.g.
Notification Bar pull down item
[USB Debug......]
[MTP USB Connection......]
[Whatsapp Notice.....]
[<Widgetsoid Widget>]
Same thing here. Also the background is grey even though I set it to transparent. Im just going to update my Gummy rom, which includes a better looking dropdown toggle anyways.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
because it's a notification any new ones may pop ontop. nothing the developer can do about that.
Seems "Elixir 2" can place on top always....
But I love Widgetsoid2.x due to the loading and UI....

[Q] Original Android status bar

Hello everyone!
I have to said that I don't really like the Nokia X Status Bar : when a notification appears we cannot click on it to lauch the app which sent the notification, and we don't have the notifications when we slide dow the status bar (I hope it's clear enough).
Is it possible to put the original android status bar, with notifications that we can touch?
I tried Super Status Bar but the bar appears in front of the notification so we don't see them.
Thank you in advance.
with stock rom, no.

Icon Noticatios not work

Hi Everyone ,
could help me to show the notification on the icon belong to The LG G3 , like example :
Facebook , what's up ...
i didn't saw any notification on this icon but when i run the application i found to many notification ,
so if there any option to show Or hide icon notification please help
Coming from iOS? By default, Android does not show notification badges over app icons, although there are some launchers (like Nova) that do have this option. Notifications are shown in the notification tray when you pull down from the status bar. From there, you can interact with them.

[ViperRom] Battery Status bar icon

For some reason there are two icons for battery (one text/one icon) and they seem to be independent of eachother in the settings.
I have turned the text battery percentage off before but made a mistake flashing the update and had to start from scratch and now I can't find it

Thanks

The Viper rom comes with two battery icons, and many more can be downloaded from the Hub. You have two preinstalled -- a stock HTC icon and the Viper 5 icon which has embedded text in it. However, there is also a pure text percentage that is independent of the other two.
The battery icons can be found in VenomTweaks/Status Bar/Status Bar Tweaks/Status bar theme
Click on that and you will see the default internal battery icon. Click on that and you will see the Viper 5 icon. Apply which one you want.
Now go to Settings/Power and scroll down to "Show battery level". This is the stand alone text percentage you see in the status bar. Turn off or on.

HTC changed / eliminated the code for charging animations in recent bases. So the image is there but the system isn't telling them to show up, from what I understand

Hide Carrier Label on Homescreen

Hello friends. I could use some help with hiding the carrier label on the status bar. I've tried Systemui Tuner, Synergy, Complete OneUI, and nothing is working. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me hide the hideous AT&T label by the clock. I'll try any suggestion! Thanks in advance!

Try goodlock app and use quick star within the app and go to visibility of indicator icons. It hides almost all (except the clock on upper left) icons.
Check it out

Quick start will hide the upper left clock. There is a second section after the icons to control clock.

You have complete control over what's looking down on you using these Samsung apps.
Solid black across the top of my homescreen.
Zero issues.
Makes for such a nicer world...
