Thanks.
I finaly find right TWRP for my device 9195I, and I finaly start TWRP but now I have new problem.
I tried to install LineageOS, but I get an error:
"could no detect filesystem for /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system, assuming ext4 mount: failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system at /system: No such file or directory"
I tryed to add a photo but I don't know how??
Any idea where is the problem?

Try to reboot from TWRP to Recovery
Than install the ROM
Make a backup!
Reboot into recovery
Wipe data (You may get a "staus 7" error if you fail to wipe.)
Install the Current ROM
Optionally install Gapps
Boot phone into normal mode

I tred but the problem is the same.
"could no detect filesystem for /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system, assuming ext4 mount: failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system at /system: No such file or directory"

OK, go complete back to Stock, flash the ROM with Pit.file and than try again to flash TWRP and Los 14.1

Install samfirm https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
Download a multiple firmware, in side of CSC.image you find the pit.file.

As you sugested I downloaded stock firmware for my device" I9195IXXU1AQA7.....tar.md5", but I don't find any pit file.

Copy the CSC.img to a sperate Folder, unzip the image and than you have got the Pit.file.

Under Pit you must select the the file and actived the Repartion Option.

Thank you for you help, but I finaly managed to install stock firmware, install TWRP recovery and lineageOS.
The problem was "hidden.img.ext4" file in stock firmware. After I delete this file, there was no more problem with installation.
Thanks again.
Best regards.

[Q] Need help with a soft brick

Alright, so i have a Galaxy s3 (sgh-i747) and i rooted it with philz bootloader
So i was going to install a custom rom, so i had to wipe.
I downloaded the rom, and wiped.
But then i realized i actually never put the ****ing rom on the phone and now my phone has no rom loaded.
I can still boot into download/recovery
I really need help with this, what are my option?
So my phone is not rooted any more i guess because the recovery/bootloader is the default one
I still really need help with this

Do you remember what (stock) firmware or Android version you were on before the attempted installation? Your best option now would be a return to stock. If you were on anything earlier than 4.3 (e.g. 4.1.2 or 4.1.1) you could try using Odin to flash 4.1.1 since you can get into download mode. To do this take the following steps ..
1. Download the required files via the following link <http://fortedge.com/downgrade.html>and extract the Odin flashable file
2. Install Odin
3. Boot into download mode and flash via Odin
OR you could find the correct stock image via the following discussion thread and flash via Odin. This would be a complete stock file that will flash all partitions including bootloader, modem, kernel and system.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426
If you were on Android 4.3, then you cannot use the above method or flash via Odin and any attempt to do this will create more bother for you. In this case, you would need to flash custom recovery via Odin and restore the stock recovery image via custom recovery. Please download the stock recovery file via the following the thread ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2658486
If you need any further detailed steps on how to complete this, please do not hesitate to holler.

Download Odin.
http://fortedge.com/downloads/Odin307.zip
Download the Odin flashable custom recovery file via the following link ...
<http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/d2att>. You need one of the more recent images ending in *.tar e.g. the one below
<http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/d2att/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-d2att.tar>
Install Samsung Kies on your PC if you don't have this already (this will be useful for the drivers)
Install the twrp tar file to an easily remembered location on your PC
Extract the Odin zip to get the executable file (*.exe)
Click on the exe file to run Odin
Now boot your phone into download mode by powering off completely then holding down the Power + Home + Volume Down buttons simultaneously until you see a warning message.
Press the Volume Up button to continue
Connect your phone to the computer with a good quality micro-USB cable
If everything has been done OK, Odin should immediately recognize your phone and you should see a message saying "Added" in Odin. If you don't see this, then you may need to check the drivers are properly installed.
Click on the PDA tab in Odin and navigate to the twrp tar file you earlier downloaded. Select this file and click OK.
You should have the Auto-Reboot and F-Reset Time boxes checked in Odin. Please do not check or uncheck any other boxes!
Click on the Start button at the bottom to start flashing TWRP and wait until you see PASS and a green (or blue) box fully displayed. Your phone will automatically reboot after this although it may not be able to boot since you don't have an OS installed. You may disconnect the cable and close Odin after you see the PASS message. If you see FAIL, then disconnect, remove the phone battery and try again.
If you successfully flash TWRP, then you may proceed to reinstalling your ROM.
1. Download the zip file in the thread below <<http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658486>>
2. Save to a recognizable location on your phone's SD card. If you can't install files to your phone via your PC, then you may save to a micro SDHC card using another micro-SDHC compatible device (camera, another phone, card reader/writer etc).
3. Boot into recovery mode
4. Select Install from the TWRP menu and navigate to the zip file you download. Swipe the arrow key to confirm installation and wait for installation to be complete
5. When installation is complete, clear your cache and dalvik and reboot system and you are good to go.
Hope this works for you. If it does, please remember to hit the thanks button and let me know.

Note 4 PIT Files For Repartiton [F/C/T/W8]

I see a lot of users with partition problems like read and write errors and a lot more
People who need to re partition their note 4 can do so now
so i have decided to post the PIT files in my possession so everyone can have a smoother note 4 experience
Steps to flash PIT files in Odin (Have latest ODIN)
1. Boot the Galaxy Note 4 into download mode screen then connect to PC.
2. This time load the N910F/C/T/W8.pit Pit file on Odin’s PIT Button (Select pit file of your variant) (SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR C Variant SEE POST 2)
3. Load your original stock firmware on the Odin’s AP button.
4 Make sure repartiton is automatically checked in options
5. Click on “Start” to flash the stock firmware and PIT file then wait.
After the process is over
Turn off the phone and set it into recovery mode
– Press volume “volume up, home and power buttons”
– Once in recovery mode, perform full wipe
– Select ‘wipe data/factory reset’
All Files are in one zip
Only select your variant and DO NOT CROSS FLASH
Special instructions for C Variant of note 4
Make sure you flash The SM-N910C OLB (CSC) firmware before you repartition as apparently for this variant has different pit files for different firmwares)
OLB IS THE CSC CODE OF THE FIRMWARE
Example for the type firmware you need
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/60071/N910CXXU2COJ5_N910COLB2COJ5_XXV/
You can try flashing this pit with other firmwares you may have but beware you have been warned
Thank you for the PIT file. I want to re-partition my N910F, but what it means "cross flash" ? Thank you.
NEVER flash this file without rom. My phone got mad and didnt recognize ext sdcard or phone storage.. Trying to fix it at the moment..
E: I flashed the stock rom with pit file, after that I flashed TWRP + Nameless Rom. THIS IS DAMN SMOOTH NOW!
Thank you for wat you do. It work's great.
Request
Please Made one for SM-N910G..
Please make n910h. Really into the wiping / repartition my phone
Hi, i have this problem
I was install CM13 for my SM: N910C but didn't like it so, i reboot into recovry and do full wipe then flashed SIX6 and reboot i have my N910C stoped on (samsung galaxy note 4)
And not start up so, i flashed my Official soft from sammobile but did't do anything i have stop on (samsung note 4) not ( samsung logo)
So, did u think it will solved by this method? Or what?
Thanx.
ty for olb pit.
When do i need to repartition? and why it will be smoother...if someone can explain thanks.

Here You go,
1. Use Odin v3.10
2. OPTIONAL - Incase you need to format emmc, select clear nand partition (only if you experience data/system partition corrupted error). This can be done only while flashing Stock Rom TAR file.
3. Make sure you select both the PIT and PBA files (So that both repartioning and installation of stock rom is done in the same session).
4. Select Repartition and Flash the device.
5. Once rebooted you will get stuck at samsung logo, dont worry, just go to stock recovery and perform a factory reset and clear cache.
6. Might take upto 5mins, but works like a charm.

Ok, that does not seem too bad, yet.
I suppose you are using system.img downloaded from web.
That image has given many that same error.
Best to use your system.img.
And the error flashing twrp, is common when using the nougat command or nougat recovery on Oreo.
Solutions.
Find your firmware on pro-teammt
http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=Bnd-&firmware_page=0
Then download update.zip
Extract files.
Get hauwei update extractor.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAAegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw0xkKEyI85nY9x4Fjr1AWJl
Extract the system.img
Then fastboot flash it.
Recovery:
Oreo command== fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp_ramdisk
Twrp name depends on version used. I use build 4 from here

yes there is a bug either in the extractor or the update files. they all do it. Go to the settings tab and take check mark off verify header.

I flashed the system.img but now the phone bootloops. It could be possible I got the wrong system.img because I don't know exactly what firmware my phone was on before I messed up. I only know it was EMUI8. Is there a way to completely reflash everything?

Yes. I have guide thread here for that.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7x/how-to/guide-honor-7x-flash-oreo-update-t3781649
But also wipe in factory reset from stock recovery may solve the bootloop.

I tried rebooting to stock recovery in order to factory reset but it only shows me the update, power off and reboot options so no factory reset possibility. I read through the entire thread you linked here but I'm very confused as to what to do with the full OTA file. I'm on a broken EMUI8 that bootloops and I'd like to clean flash EMUI8 again so I can flash an AOSP Oreo rom after that. What do I do?

Just made updates to guide last night. I think it is worded simple now.
Download my update "package" from step E
Extract it to a folder on your PC.
You are on emui8, so copy the HWOTA folder from the extracted zip to your sdcard
Also put hwota-update-7-8-auto.zip on sdcard.
Put the three (3) update files from pro-teammt.ru in the HWOTA8 folder on your sdcard
Put card into phone
Boot into twrp
Select install
Choose sdcard as source
Install hwota-update-7-8-auto.zip

So far so good but the FULLOTA update file I got from that website only has one file (update.zip) Do I need to extract that? And if so, what 3 files do I put on my sdcard?

No do not extract it.
On that site, next to link for update file, is "file list"
Click this. It gives links for all three files.
Put those three zip files into hwota folder

Alright, I got it! Now I need to flash TWRP but the executable to install TWRP says my adb drivers are outdated. I have the minimal fastboot and adb installation from XDA.

That should be fine.
Usually means you have other adb also , probably from other tool.
If you have twrp , not need to use the terp recovery installer

Well the problem is I don't have TWRP and none of the versions i've tried to install work. The installer doesn't work either, it says closing adb daemon and stays on that.

Dude, you're the man! I got my device up and running again. I'll probably stay on EMUI8 since it's more stable than the current AOSP rom. I wanna root it tho so can I just use the lazy recovery tool to install twrp and simply install magisk?

Softbricked Mi10t Lite (gauguin)

Hello guys,
I have rooted 2 days ago my phone with TWRP and Magisk; everything worked fine until I tried to change somethin in /system/ folder. It always said I dont have write rights. So I decided to go back to stock rom. I have downloaded the stock rom for my phone (gauguin, Global 12.0.8.0 , Android 10.) Now I have the following problem. My device is soft bricked.
So i decided to google and try to flash another Rom for my phone. I found one here.
https://xiaomirom.com/en/rom/mi-10t-lite-gauguin-global-fastboot-recovery-rom/
How Can I flash that file? its .tgz
I have stock rom installed and I cant flash TWRP
Thanks in advance
Francesco

Unpack TGZ archive, then untar TAR file again. You will see folder with images and script files. Run "flash_all_except_storage.bat".

For the love of god, I just spent 3 hours to install fastboot ROM and did not succeed. No idea what went wrong, but at the end I finally restored my device..
1. download recovery ROM and transfer it to internal SD
2. download fastboot ROM, unpack it
3. modify flash_all_except_storage.bat and delete lines with CRCLIST and SPARCECRCLIST
4. run the script
5. phone will keep rebooting on MI logo
6. boot to TWRP "fastboot boot twrp.img"
7. install recovery ROM from TWRP
8. (install Magisk), reboot phone to system
For some reason fastboot flashing doesn't install /odm partition correctly. I have the latest drivers, android tools, tried 2 PCs, 2 different USB cables, different USB ports, using Mi Flash, nothing helped. The only solution was to flash recovery rom from TWRP. Fortunately no data has been lost.

Can you boot into fastboot? You said it's soft bricked so I imagine you can. Reply and I'll get back to you, I soft bricked mine and fixed it fine.
Hey guys, I was finally able to flash the Rom.
I used to flash a Rom with Xiaomi Flash, accidentaly it was a wrong rom, which I saw later on.
So I installed TWRP recovery with fastboot commands and downloaded the right rom. I used to download the EEA Rom instead of Global Rom. So I transfered the EU Rom to micro SD Card and flashed it with TWRP.
Everything is working now, except the access to /system folder, after I rooted with magisk 20.4. Even with the newest Version it does not work.
So I tried in the terminal the following command while I was in /system folder: mount -o rw,remount/ But this does also not work. How can I get acess to it?
Sorry for my english again

Think you storage is corrupted what I did was download the ROM for my phone open the tar ROM to you see a file says images flash all and other stuff play rom folder in mi flash tool folders and open CMD use flash all in ROM folder
Make sure your phone is in fastboot before you use the flash all file it will return your phone to stock ROM
