Hey everyone, I have tried every 8.0 rom available for our beloved xiaomi mi6. Miui Camera is not working in any of them. (Keeps crashing, even with all permissions set). Anyone knows why, or have a fix? Thanks

Hi guys,i am using mi max hydrogen and i flashed my device to pie through TWRP recovery and everything is fine except camera, i tried almost every pie ROM, but camera and flash not working. Please help me .if any one found soultion
What camera is not working? The one that came with your rom? Did you try to install other camera apps if they work?
I tried every possible way, the camera carshes everytime. Snapdragon camera, even gcam all failed. There is no problem before flashing os .i think every mi max users facing this problem. But developers not considering bcz it is outdated devices
Did you had flashed stock gapps package with your pie ROM .
I know your frustration since I also see the same problem before. however, now I have it working. here is the solution:
1) You can use Lineage OS 16 by karzim, but don't take the latest one. Use "2019/01/28" version. To be safe, don't enable encryption.
2) Need to flash latest MiMax "Stable" firmware MIMAXGlobal_V10.2.1.0.NBCMIXM
3) If you want to use latest GCAM with nightmode, use MGC_6.1.021_RP1_V1.3.1-BSG version. It's working on back camera but front camera have problem to save the file.

I couldn't be able to get the Dolby module (Dolby Digital Plus) working on AOSP Pie ROMs. It closes right after I open it. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Tried almost all pie ROMs.

I just got able to install Dolby on Arrow OS but the camera is broken on it, unfortunately.
My journey on finding a complete flawless whyred Pie ROM continues... :cyclops:

i have redmi note 5 with lineage os 17.1 andorid 10 .. before installing it i had a custome rom of oxygen and the Gcam was working fine , even i've installed 4 google camera !
now i like lineage soooo much but also i need google camera definitely . and i have searched alot and couldn't fix this !
so i wish anyone can help me with this .

Google Camera MGC_7.2.014_PARROT043-V3.apk is working ok with my Redmi Note 5 Pro/AI, if it's not too old version for you, I advice you to try it.
So i flashed pixel plus experience rom based on android 11 for my redmi note 8 pro. Everything seems fine but gcam is not working. There is a inbuilt camera of lineage os and i cant either delete it or find its file in twrp to delete.
And i cannot install any other camera .it gets install but crashes immediately..what to do??? Anyone please thankyou!!!!
